I arrived at Grand Front 10 minutes ago and there was a line in front of the elevator and escalator. I lined up for the elevator but switched to the escalator and just made it on the first round. I had yakisoba, buta-dama, omni-yaki, yakitori kimchi fried rice, and a bottle of beer for a total of 5650 yen. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. The okonomiyaki had a healthy feel with lots of cabbage and was light and tasty. I've never had okonomiyaki like that before, it was delicious! The yakisoba was also delicious. The kimchi fried rice was okay. Next time, I want to try the tonpeiyaki. Thank you for the meal!

Delicious okonomiyaki with a sweet cabbage flavor and satisfying texture. Ordered the Omoni-yaki and ABCD~yaki. The generous amount of ingredients provides a substantial meal. The rich sauce pairs well with beer. Note that last order for lunch on weekdays is at 2:00 PM, so be mindful if planning to have a daytime drink.

The restaurant in Tsuruhashi seems to be very popular. After wandering around the 7th floor of Grand Front Osaka trying to decide what to have for dinner, I ended up here. The neighboring restaurant also served okonomiyaki, but I chose this one because it had counter seating all around and I wanted a more relaxed dining experience.
- Buta Hirayaki (pork and vegetable okonomiyaki)
- Buta Tamago (pork and egg okonomiyaki) with cheese and mochi toppings
There were so many types of okonomiyaki to choose from that I couldn't decide, so I ended up going with the classic Buta Tamago and added my favorite toppings, cheese and mochi. The decision to add cheese was a great one. The cheese was melted perfectly and crispy on top, it was amazing! The Buta Hirayaki was also delicious with lots of bean sprouts. I wasn't very hungry so I shared these with another person, but if I had a bigger appetite, one okonomiyaki per person would be enough.
I would love to visit the original store in Tsuruhashi as well!!

Hello, it's RamenWalking! Today is Okonomiyaki Day, and I visited Omoni at Grand Front Osaka to try their famous Omoni-yaki. In Osaka, there are many renowned okonomiyaki restaurants, but due to the increase in tourists and long queues at the main branch, I decided to visit a relatively less crowded branch in Tsuruhashi to enjoy the taste of a famous restaurant. I arrived at 19:30 and there was a wait of 8 people. I decided to wait as changing plans often leads to disappointment. I placed my order in advance while waiting. Finally, I entered at 20:00 and the dish arrived at 20:05.
I ordered the famous Omoni-yaki for 1,500 yen. It was a thick okonomiyaki with pork, squid, shrimp, and scallops, generously using eggs. The toppings like sauce, mayonnaise, green laver, powdered bonito flakes, and regular bonito flakes were provided on the table for customization. The cabbage was shredded, giving it a strong presence, which may be a matter of personal preference. The seafood ingredients were all fresh and delicious. The size was slightly smaller, possibly due to the current situation of rising prices. You can adjust the flavor by adding your own sauce and mayonnaise, but the ingredients were very tasty!
I would like to try other Korean menu items next time. Thank you, Omoni at Grand Front Osaka! Today's step count: 13,895 steps. Calories burned: 512 kcal.

I lined up but didn't have to wait long because they rotated quickly. I ordered Buta Tamago for ¥1,000, Ikatama for ¥1,000, and Golden Kasu Yakisoba for ¥1,600. The Golden Kasu Yakisoba is a collaboration with Kushikatsu Daruma ✨ For okonomiyaki, you can add your own sauce, mayonnaise, aonori, and bonito flakes.

It was delicious. I had okonomiyaki outside for the first time in a while, and it was much tastier than homemade. It had very little binder and was mainly made of cabbage. The way it was cooked is something amateurs couldn't do. Everything was delicious, but the cheese okonomiyaki was a new and delicious sensation.

At Omoni in Grand Front Osaka, we waited in line on a Sunday night around 10 pm. The staff were very attentive and considerate, taking our orders while we waited. They even made sure to accommodate my friend's allergies. Since there were three of us, we each ordered the following dishes: - Tonpei-yaki - Omoni's most popular Omoni-yaki - Special Champon with soba and udon mixed in - Negiyaki All dishes were served already cooked, so we could enjoy them right away! I also ordered a freshly squeezed grapefruit sour, which was delightful with real fruit juice. It was a true taste of Osaka and we left feeling very satisfied.

Omoni (located in Grand Front Osaka South Building in Kita-ku, Osaka) was chosen for a lunch meeting. One of the members had been to the store in Tsuruhashi and it was their favorite, so we decided to go there. Apparently, a former governor used to visit the restaurant, and his name was on the menu. It was quite impressive to see his name on the menu. There were many menu items named after people, but it was hard to tell what they were just by the name. I decided to order the "High Collar Yaki" without knowing what it was. It cost 1550 yen. When the dish arrived, it looked similar to the other dishes. It was an okonomiyaki dish, so they all looked quite similar. The "High Collar Yaki" had konjac noodles in it, which was a surprise. In other words, it was like a dish with spring onions, eggs, and konjac noodles. When you put sauce and mayonnaise on it, they all tasted quite similar. We were busy talking and trying to eat before it burned on the hot plate. Overall, it was an interesting and enjoyable lunch meeting experience.

Located on the 7th floor of the south building of the towering Grand Front in Umeda, this famous okonomiyaki restaurant is a must-visit. The area around Umeda Station has really changed, which is a good thing. When you think of "Tsukishoku" in Tsuruhashi, it brings to mind an old image. I visited on a Sunday before 3pm and there was a wait of 3 groups ahead of me. I got seated in about 20 minutes. They have a good variety of menu items, including collaborations with Daruma and local TV show specials. I wondered why it became so famous, and then I remembered that it was recommended by the author Yasuo Tanaka. I decided to try the Omoni-yaki since it's the name of the restaurant. It's cooked on a griddle in the kitchen. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The batter was not too thick, and the cabbage was thinly sliced, which is a unique style. Normally at home, you would have more batter with thinly sliced cabbage. The texture of the cabbage was really good and it paired well with the generous amount of fillings. They also have a variety of teppanyaki dishes, making it a good place to enjoy drinks. However, the prices are a bit high, but considering the location, it's understandable. If you're a tourist, it might be worth trying out various collaboration menu items. I might visit the main branch next time.

I wanted to try this place for a while, so I visited. This time, I ordered the suji tamago. Hmm. It seems like there is no dough at all, so is this not a cabbage pancake? I'm not sure if that's the unique feature, but... It may be a matter of preference, but personally, it was a bit different. Thank you for the meal.

I came here looking for Fukutaro next door, but it was closed so I visited this place instead. I remember that the main store in Momodani was delicious, but the Grand Front store was below average in taste. Despite that, the okonomiyaki was 1500 yen and the yakisoba was 1600 yen, so the cost performance was not good. I have always thought that if the main store is chosen as one of the top 100 stores, the branch stores should also be awarded, which is typical of this kind of restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I went shopping at Grand Front and had dinner at Omoni-san. I was unsure of what to order, but ended up getting the Omoni-yaki and Negi-yaki. The Omoni-yaki had plenty of cabbage, eggs, and green onions, while the Negi-yaki was delicious with its special soy sauce. The Omoni-yaki was definitely a good choice - fluffy and tasty. Plus, having unlimited mayonnaise on the table was great!

The pork modern yaki udon is very delicious. If I have the opportunity to order again, I would be torn between udon and yakisoba, but ordering the modern yaki udon is definitely the right choice. The food is delicious and comes relatively quickly. The yakisoba noodles are quite thick, almost like tsukemen. It is very tasty. I realized that I prefer pork in okonomiyaki over shrimp.

On the last day of Golden Week, I visited the restaurant around 5 pm. There were empty tables available, so I was able to enter without waiting. I ordered the famous "Omoni-yaki" for 1500 yen, which is a luxurious okonomiyaki with pork, squid, shrimp, and scallops. It took over 30 minutes to be served. This okonomiyaki is made with minimal use of wheat flour, and it looks similar to Hiroshima-style with plenty of cabbage and eggs. You can add sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and seaweed according to your preference. It was delicious.

Established 54 years ago, "Okonomiyaki Omoni" ❤️ main store has been selected as a Michelin Bib Gourmand for 6 consecutive years, and also chosen as one of the top 100 restaurants! The Grand Front Osaka store we visited is also in the top 100! The distinctive feature of Omoni's okonomiyaki is that it is packed with cabbage compared to regular okonomiyaki. The sweetness and fluffy texture of the cabbage, steamed well on the hot plate, are charming ☺️ There are also collaboration menus with various celebrities, making it very interesting, so I would like to visit again! Thank you for the delicious meal!!

After returning from USJ, I was delayed due to a train accident, but I managed to arrive at Osaka Station. I tried calling a few places, but couldn't make a reservation for a bath, so I decided to wait in line here. Even though it was late at night, everywhere was crowded. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait long to get in. I had okonomiyaki and tonpeiyaki, I think? It was delicious, especially since I was so tired.

This time, I went to the Omoni-san at Grand Front. I have never been to the main store in Tsuruhashi, but I wanted to go there, but since this location has better access, I went to the Grand Front store. On a holiday night around 6 pm, as it is a famous store, there was a line. I waited for about 30 minutes before entering. The menu at this restaurant is unique with Osaka-like unique names. Just by the names, it's hard to understand what they are about haha. I ordered the Omoni-yaki and Tonpei-yaki, which seemed like the usual choices. First, the Tonpei-yaki arrived. The Tonpei-yaki had a strong bean sprout taste and the sauce was thin. It felt like eating bean sprouts directly, so I didn't really like it. Then the okonomiyaki arrived. Since the Tonpei-yaki was not great, I was worried, but as expected from a famous store, the okonomiyaki was delicious. A distinctive feature is the gooey egg on top of the okonomiyaki, which I had never seen at other okonomiyaki restaurants before. The okonomiyaki had a deep flavor with a good dashi taste. I was happy to find big chunks of shrimp inside. Although it is a famous store in Osaka, I was a bit surprised that it didn't have the pancake-like texture typical of Osaka okonomiyaki. I would like to visit the main store next time. Thank you for the meal.

There is a popular okonomiyaki restaurant with a main store in Tsuruhashi where you can eat for about 3,000 yen per person. I have a regular craving for their specialty Omuniyaki, which is delicious with plenty of cabbage, sweet and fluffy, generously filled with ingredients, and served with tasty sauce. The combination of okonomiyaki and yakisoba is just the best.

On the second night of my business trip in Osaka, I had okonomiyaki at a restaurant in the company building. I enjoyed tonpei-yaki, negi suji shio-itame, omone-yaki, and yakisoba! I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take a picture of the okonomiyaki—what a shame. The tonpei-yaki that came out first was delicious. Okonomiyaki tastes even better in Osaka, I feel like the flavor is doubled.

Dinner on February 1, 2023 (Wednesday). I had a day trip to Osaka for business. In the afternoon, I had work in Izumisano City after meeting at Shin-Osaka. After finishing, I took the Midosuji Line to Umeda and went to a restaurant located on the 7th floor of the Umeda Dining in the south building of Grand Front Osaka. I had been to the main branch 10 years ago. Both the main branch and this branch are listed in the Tabelog Okonomiyaki Top 100 for 2022. By the way, out of those 100 restaurants, I have written reviews for 28 of them, and I am ranked 15th (lol). I arrived at 4:45 PM, but the evening business hours start at 5 PM. I waited for 15 minutes and entered the restaurant at 5 PM. I ordered the specialty Omoni-yaki (1500 yen) which was listed to contain pork, squid, shrimp, scallops, and eggs inside and out. I also ordered a beer (Sapporo Draft Black Label) for 650 yen. The Omoni-yaki was eventually brought out and it reminded me of my previous visit. It was a thin Omoni-yaki with less flour and more eggs. The cabbage was plentiful. The pork, scallops, shrimp, and squid were all delicious. The total bill was 2150 yen. I took the Midosuji Line back to Shin-Osaka. Nozomi No. 44. Departed Shin-Osaka at 6:09 PM and arrived in Tokyo at 8:36 PM.
