Located about a 5-minute walk from Sangenjaya Station, this yakiniku restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere. We toasted with a Hoppy Set (white) and enjoyed it with a small simmered dish. The meat assortment included various cuts and was delicious with a hint of ginger. The meat sashimi platter included heart, diaphragm, tripe, and rumen, which we enjoyed with sesame oil salt and sweet soy sauce. I wished there was a bit more to it. The tongue was thick and had a great crispy texture. I forgot to take a picture, but the seared beef liver (large) was the best and I wanted more! We finished with cold noodles, which were refreshing and delicious. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

No matter what, I really wanted to eat meat on Monday. In Sangenjaya, many restaurants are closed on Mondays, so I decided to venture to a meat restaurant that stays open late on Mondays. This restaurant, called Nikunin, surprised me with its cozy atmosphere and unique feature of having only two special seats for solo diners right by the entrance. The high dividers provide privacy, allowing you to enjoy your meal in your own space. The menu offers half-size portions for solo diners, making it easier to enjoy a variety of dishes without feeling overwhelmed by the quantity. The restaurant provides each solo diner with their own mini charcoal grill, adding to the authentic experience. I ordered liver, tongue, and simmered dish, all in mini sizes, and they were delicious. The liver was especially fresh and smooth, melting in my mouth. Nikunin is a great place for solo diners to enjoy high-quality meat in a relaxed and affordable setting. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes next time!

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but located in a corner of the drinking district. We started with beer, kimchi, and simmered dishes. The simmered dish was soft, flavorful, and incredibly delicious. We had kalbi, harami, maruchou, top kalbi, and loin. Rice is a must. Satisfied with the amount of meat and cost performance.

Stewed large (480), thick-cut pork belly (1530), kalbi (780), and maruchou (680) are recommended \(^o^)/ The stewed meat and pork belly are a must-try! The tenderly stewed meat combined with the richness of miso is amazing (≧∇≦)b You can choose between thinly sliced and thick-cut pork belly, but the thick-cut one gives a satisfying feeling of eating meat! It's soft, juicy, and full of meat juices (*´﹃`*)♡ The casual atmosphere is also nice, and it's affordable and delicious, so I highly recommend it♪ I want to come back and relax next time!

I visited the restaurant after taking a relaxing day off on a weekday. It seems like the main dish is hormone (offal). They grill it over charcoal. They also offer half-size portions for solo diners. I ordered a draft beer, thick-cut harami (half-size), mixed hormone (half-size), salted beef loin, chilled tomatoes, and heart, which came to just over 4,000 yen. The meat is well-prepared and refreshing, and the variety and taste of the hormone dishes are great. It's a cool and popular spot that lives up to its reputation. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I have been to restaurants in Kitazawa before, but it was my first time at a restaurant in Sangenjaya. The meat was delicious as always. However, I felt that the prices for drinks were a bit high. They had something called "nighttime makgeolli," but it was a bit small for the price of almost 1000 yen. Nevertheless, the meat was delicious.

I went to a restaurant called Niku Jinmai near the pharmacy on the bustling street of Sangenjaya. They have counter seats and table seats, as well as tables on the second floor. It's great that they're open until 2 am. They grill the meat over charcoal, and it's delicious. Although the prices have gone up due to the quality of cuts like tongue, even the thinly sliced meat is tasty. They offer a variety of horumon (offal) that is crispy and goes well with drinks. Personally, I recommend the upper mino. It's no wonder this place is popular in Sangenjaya. I'll be heading to the next restaurant soon.

Around 5:30 PM on Saturday, made a same-day reservation for the earliest slot at 9:30 PM. The restaurant has 3 counter seats and 2 tables on the first floor, with a second floor as well. Free toppings include raw egg, grated garlic, grated ginger, salt and pepper. The bean sprouts and kimchi flavor is mild, the thinly sliced harami is flavorful and delicious, the thickly sliced harami is tasty but I prefer the thin slices, the seared liver comes with green onions, the thinly sliced beef tongue has a nice texture and delicious fat, the staff meal kalbi is delicious with thinly sliced meat, the regular kalbi is tasty, the maruchou is very delicious with plenty of fat, and the thick pork tongue is like thick slices of smoked tongue from a convenience store and is delicious.

The cost performance of this yakiniku restaurant is excellent. It was my first visit and since I don't drink alcohol, I only had one soft drink. The total bill for two people was under 6,000 yen. The value for money is so good that I will definitely come back again. While there are yakiniku restaurants with all-you-can-eat options for around 3,000 yen, I would highly recommend this place over them. The thick-cut beef tongue and thick-cut harami were particularly impressive and satisfying. The quality of the meat here may even surpass that of higher-end yakiniku restaurants. Grilling good meat over charcoal is just irresistible. I'm not a big fan of offal, so I didn't order much of that, but the portion sizes for the meat dishes are small, making it easy for those who want to try a variety of options. The atmosphere is casual and feels like an izakaya, so it's more suited for a quick meal rather than a long stay.

The meat restaurant I visited before. They have a wide variety of hormone dishes, and you can't go wrong with any of them. I forgot to take a picture, but the finale of Comtan soup with udon was the best. Ahh. I want to drink to my heart's content soon. I want to eat to my heart's content soon. I want to make a lot of noise soon.

This is the best yakiniku restaurant in Sancha. The balance between price and quality of the meat is excellent. I recommend ordering the thick-cut harami and premium tongue if they are available. Today they had both (they often run out). I had the premium tongue, seared liver, thick-cut harami, harami, staff special kalbi, kalbi, and a large bowl of rice with beer. I also had lemon sour in between. I finished with salted cuts like upper mino, kutsu bera, and seseri, along with lemon sour. Kutsu bera, which I found out is pig's vocal cords, is a favorite cut of mine. Another satisfying meal at this place tonight.

After the self-restraint is lifted, I crave meat. It's troublesome when the room gets filled with smoke so I prefer to eat fried food or yakiniku outside. One popular yakiniku restaurant is "Niku-nin" in Sangenjaya and Shimokitazawa. You need to make a reservation before going as you can't enter without one. They are operating with some distance between tables during the pandemic. They start with Hoppy. When eating yakiniku, I prefer carbonated drinks. A must-try menu is Chanja, which you can also take out. It has a nice crunchy texture. The meat sashimi platter includes heart, stomach, and tripe. It's a plate with no hint of any unpleasant smell, indicating freshness. The tongue is not beef tongue, but a different type of tongue, giving a feeling of coming for horumon yaki (grilled offal). It has a rich umami flavor. They also have Sibire (thymus) and Kutsubera (pork throat), with Kutsubera having a great texture. The seared beef liver is a must-try. Seared and enjoyed! Having this on the menu shows that it is a reliable restaurant. The Crunchy Mix plate only has crunchy horumon, making it a plate full of rare cuts like Kinzuru (penis), with a great selection of horumon. It goes well with alcohol. Oh, in the end, I didn't even eat regular meat, haha. But the freshness and quality of the horumon are outstanding. It's a popular and skilled yakiniku restaurant in Sangenjaya.

Wandering around Sangenjaya without a destination in mind, I stumbled upon this restaurant. I've been to a restaurant in Shimokitazawa before and it was amazing, so I decided to have barbecue for dinner tonight. I sat down and ordered a beer first. I know that there is a notorious beer thief called "Cori Cori Mix" in this restaurant. It is our mission as Interpol to prevent excessive drinking and protect peaceful nights and refreshing mornings. So, I ordered the following: bean sprouts, stewed dish, tongue, skirt meat, and Cori Cori Mix. The stewed dish arrived first and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. The bean sprouts were refreshing and paired well with the sauce on the table. Tongue and skirt meat followed, and they were both delicious, albeit a bit pricey. However, the real highlight was the Cori Cori Mix. It consisted of four different types of meat that were all grilled and served. I ended up enjoying it so much that I forgot to explain it, but it was absolutely delicious. I asked the staff for the name of the most delicious meat, and it was called "Kutsubera." I ordered more and ended up having a great time, even though the beer was stolen multiple times by the Cori Cori Mix. In the end, I couldn't fulfill my mission, but I was completely satisfied with the meal. The Cori Cori Mix not only stole the beer but also stole my heart with its deliciousness. It was a fantastic experience!

I had a reservation for around 18:30 and was able to enter smoothly. The tan shio (premium salted tongue) was thick and juicy, and very delicious. I wanted to order more, but they were sold out, so I thought next time I should make a reservation for the meat as well. I love the extra large rice portion, it looks like something from a manga.

In Sangenjaya, a popular restaurant known for its delicious hormone (offal) grilling, which is ranked second only to another famous spot. We ordered Half & Half for ¥480, Pomegranate Sour for ¥450, Bean Sprouts for ¥400, Assorted Sashimi (3 kinds) for ¥800 (Heart, Mino, Guts), Upper Mino for ¥680, Crunchy Mix for ¥800, and more. We enjoyed the classic hormone dishes in Sangenjaya!

Whenever I go, the food is consistently delicious, and even when I eat to my heart's content, the price is around 4000 yen, so it's a favorite restaurant of mine! - Seared liver - Stewed dish - Thinly sliced harami (skirt steak) - Upper small intestine - Hormone mix - Crunchy mix - Cold noodles It was a bit late when I went, so there were some items that were unfortunately sold out.

Located in a shopping street a little away from Sangenjaya Station, this yakiniku restaurant offers a casual atmosphere where you can enjoy grilled meat easily. The same name restaurant can also be found in Shimokitazawa. The place was bustling with local customers, giving off a lively vibe. A must-order item here is the assorted horumon (offal). Each type of horumon is fresh, well-seasoned, and you can enjoy delicious yakiniku at a reasonable price. The assortment also includes rare cuts that you may not find in other yakiniku restaurants, making you feel like you got a good deal. The thick-cut liver is said to be famous, but unfortunately, it was sold out during my visit. I would like to try it next time if I have the chance. Since it may not be easy to visit due to its location, I would love to come back if I happen to be nearby. Thank you for the meal.

The cost performance is quite good and the freshness of the ingredients is also very good. The seared liver is a must-try dish. The restaurant was quite crowded so the drinks and food were served late, but considering the price and quality, I will definitely come back again.

A down-to-earth hormone grill restaurant located deep down the main street of Sanganjaya. The prices for each dish are very reasonable, and even if it's your first visit, the casual atmosphere of the place makes it feel welcoming and easy for anyone to enter. This time, I ordered the two types of hormone grill that I always order at other restaurants (Maruchou and Toromino), a platter of four types of sashimi, seared liver, one rice dish, and a drink. The hormone grill is eaten with a sauce of sesame oil and salt, while the sashimi comes with a soy sauce-based sauce mixed with ginger and other condiments. As for the food itself, the heart sashimi included in the platter was just amazing! It had a chewy texture with no hint of the typical hormone smell, and both the appearance and taste were excellent. The other hormone sashimi was also delicious, but the heart sashimi was so good that it alone is worth a visit. The Maruchou, Toromino, and liver were a bit small in size, and they didn't leave a particularly strong impression. With its fair pricing, this place is satisfying for a lively gathering with friends. Lastly, the staff members were not very friendly and lacked attention to service, which was a slight downside.
