My wife hadn't been to this shop for a while, so we decided to make a reservation and visit. As we entered, we felt the lively atmosphere in the shop. The manager, who had left a good impression before, was also there, which made us feel good about our choice. We started by ordering dishes like Kujo Negi tofu, smashed cucumber, salt-roasted edamame, gout 3-piece set (ankimo, oysters, shirako ponzu), assorted sashimi, scallop sake kasu butteryaki, grilled horse mackerel bones, scallop gratin, overflowing tuna rolls, and smoked gakko cream cheese. We started with beer to wet our throats. My son loved the Kujo Negi tofu and smashed cucumber, finishing most of it. The salt-roasted edamame was well done, despite being frozen. The gout 3-piece set had my son enjoying the oysters but disliking the shirako and ankimo. The sashimi assortment was fresh and delicious. The grilled horse mackerel bones surprised us with how tasty they were. We also received a hot pot during the meal, which was a nice addition. The scallop sake kasu butteryaki had a rich flavor that went well with sake. I switched to drinking warm sake, enjoying the Matsuribune Gohyakumangoku. We also ordered grilled conger eel and thick rolled omelette with whitebait on top, which were both simple but tasty. The cream cheese and overflowing tuna rolls, as well as the scallop gratin, were also well-prepared. The manager's attentive service throughout the meal was a nice touch. In the end, this place in Nerima is a great choice for an izakaya, especially if you're looking for good value for money. If you're struggling to choose an izakaya in Nerima, I recommend this one.
