I caught information that the owner who came out of Kanekido Horumon in Kamegata opened a new store, so I visited with my colleague. It was located on the second floor just a short walk from Ekoda Station, and the name of the restaurant was written prominently on the handrail of the stairs, so we immediately knew where it was. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a cheerful "Irasshaimase!" which made a good first impression. The kitchen was run by two men, and the dining area was managed by two women. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was clean and had a nostalgic feel. The background music added to the nostalgic vibe. We ordered Senmai sashimi and liver tataki, and they were fresh and delicious as advertised. Feeling confident, we also ordered various meats like mino and kusbera, as well as extra rice. Despite it being our first visit, the staff were very friendly and conversational. It was a bit embarrassing to ask the female staff for "oppai," but they took it in stride. When the food arrived promptly, I was surprised by the huge portion of rice in the bowl. It was like a scene from a Japanese folktale with the overflowing white rice! I was determined to finish it all and show them! For dessert, we ordered the intriguing Devil Men, which was delicious but very spicy. I heard there is an even spicier version, so I'll definitely try that next time! The meal ended with a cheerful "Arigatou gozaimashita," and I left feeling very satisfied. Another favorite restaurant has been added to my list. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had been curious about this place for a while, and finally got a chance to visit. When I arrived at opening time, it was fully booked (reservations only available at opening time). I waited for a little over an hour before getting a table. The "Black Wagyu Upper Harami" was incredibly tender and fresh, almost like you could eat it raw. It had a sweet fat and strong umami flavor, truly delicious! The "Liver" was very fresh, with a good bounce and no unpleasant smell. It was sweet and very tasty! The "Heart" was tender and packed with flavor, really delicious! The "Shirokoro (beef cotecchian)" had a strong bounce and intense umami flavor, very tasty. The "Upper Mino" was juicy and very delicious. The "Hachinosu" was juicy with the best miso sauce, delicious. The "Old Hormone (pork cotecchian)" was boiled cotecchian with a good bounce and sweetness, very tasty. The "Upper Tongue Salt" had a good thickness and was very satisfying. The restaurant is run by someone from Kameido Hormone (Mr. Yoshida), so I was able to enjoy wonderful hormone dishes! If you don't like artificial seasonings or strong flavors, you might not enjoy this place, but if you want to eat fresh and delicious hormone dishes, I highly recommend it! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lively, and I can't wait to go back again. Thank you for the meal.

Finally managed to get a reservation and eagerly entered the restaurant. When it opened, there were already many people waiting, and it was full as soon as it opened. It was truly amazing to see such a popular restaurant on a weekday. The hormone dishes are the restaurant's specialty, but I wanted to try the meat more than the internal organs, so I ordered thick-cut beef tongue and harami. The thick-cut beef tongue was so delicious!! It was so good that I ordered another plate. I was completely satisfied with just that. Later, I also ordered lamb meat. For drinks, I had Hoppy and sake. The sake was a great deal as you could get plenty of delicious brands for 800 yen. You also get a frozen towel to refresh yourself. This is a really popular restaurant, so I recommend making a reservation for the 6:00 opening time. Thank you for the meal!

Famous for its magnets featuring the local water and gas company, this hormone restaurant in Ekoda is a must-visit spot with long lines. The reason is clear at first glance: the overwhelming freshness of the meat. The combination of beauty and violent visuals is truly impressive. The hormone sashimi is a must-order. The drinks keep flowing non-stop (or is it because the staff keeps recommending them?). Before you know it, you'll be full and happily drunk. Reservations can be made right when they open. This is a restaurant you'll want to visit again and again.

Visited after half a year. Managed to get a seat by calling last minute. Fresh and flavorful hormone dishes made the alcohol and rice go down smoothly. The loin and skirt were very tender, and the maruchou melted in the mouth, spreading a delicious taste all around. Whether to shovel in the rice or wash it down with hoppy, the best pairing is still with white rice! I want to go back again while I have the chance to visit Ekoda frequently.

I visited the restaurant with my colleagues. Everything was delicious, but especially the "Yami Horumon" which had various cuts of meat and is highly recommended. The simmered offal was also tasty. However, last time there was a lot of Hoppy drink in the mix, but this time it was disappointing to see less of it.

Wish come true for the second time. This time there are 4 of us, so we can try a variety of dishes. Each person ordered what they wanted to eat. We started by eating bean sprouts as a warm-up exercise. First, we had the tongue. It was nice to have plenty of green onions on top. We grilled one side, flipped it over, topped it with lots of green onions, and squeezed lemon on top. Delicious! Delicious! Even my friend who came here for the first time was impressed. From here, we couldn't stop. We had heart, liver, salted hormone, old-fashioned hormone, marinated hormone, tender meat, skirt meat, thick-cut tongue, and what was it again? Anyway, we kept eating what we wanted, repeatedly exclaiming how delicious it was, until we realized our stomachs were full. The staff at the restaurant had perfect timing in asking if we wanted to order more, and changed the grill multiple times for us. The grill was in the best condition, so we could enjoy the food until the end. We had about 3-4 drinks per person, costing around 5,000 yen per person. It's cheap. I want to come back again, but it's hard to make a reservation. I'll do my best to make a reservation! Thank you for the meal! It was delicious!

Today, I finally made it to this place I've been wanting to visit for a while. I've tried to come here multiple times, but never had the chance due to bad timing. There was a huge line even before the store opened! I'm glad I made a reservation. There was a very loud and lively older sister inside the store. The staff here are all very attentive. The food was delicious! The hormone fat was sweet. I haven't eaten salted hormone much before, but it was incredibly delicious! I feel like I could keep coming back here forever. The tongue was tender, and there wasn't a single miss. The liver, harami, something crunchy, hormone sauce, and what else? Sashimi and bean sprouts. The bean sprouts were tasty, but the portion was too much for two people. This is definitely a repeat decision. I'm very satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

Beef tongue, hormone skewer platter, kimchi, yamimori, large portion (assorted hormone skewers), Shimacho, harami, and other dishes. Three people arrived before 7:30 pm on Sunday. We were the third group in line, and we entered the restaurant in about an hour. The portion was generous, the food was delicious, and the cost performance was great. The cold noodles were not exceptional. The skewer platter and beef tongue were delicious. My two companions enjoyed the Shimacho, yamimori, and harami. If you don't have a reservation, you will likely have to wait in line, but it's worth it.

This place is really delicious! It's not an exaggeration to say that it's the most delicious yakiniku I've ever had. I visited with a friend this time, and we had tongue, skirt meat (2 servings), hormone (2 servings), striped neck, and stewed offal. We also had two beers each and extra large rice. The extra large rice is really huge, so be careful! The staff were friendly and cheerful, making the experience very pleasant. I will definitely come back. I want to go every day.

I came to this place that is always bustling with customers every day. All the meat is fresh and reasonably priced. The staff are all friendly. If the white rice was delicious, I would give it more stars! Overall, the flavor is on the sweeter and richer side, and the marinade has a strong garlic taste. It's disappointing if the rice wasn't cooked well.

A friend recommended this yakiniku restaurant to me. We tried beef tongue, salted hormone, harami, assorted sashimi, smashed cucumbers, bean sprouts, heart, skirt steak, upper intestine, sirloin, and chicken tenderloin, I think? We ordered a bit more too! Everything was delicious, but the salted hormone was incredibly tasty! The harami was on another level of deliciousness! I wish we had tried more dishes! The staff were all very energetic and had a great vibe. The ashtray was located outside. By the time we left, there was a line forming up to the middle of the stairs. Definitely worth the wait!!! I would love to go back again.

I made a reservation for 6:00 PM on December 16, 2022, and visited the restaurant right after it opened. The inside was already full of reserved customers. If you don't want to wait in line, it's a must to make a reservation for the opening time. A friendly staff member guided me to a counter seat, where I ordered a draft beer first. I also ordered various dishes: thick-cut salted tongue, senmai sashimi, simmered beef tripe, salted hormone, and a large serving of rice. While waiting, the phone kept ringing constantly. It's such a popular place! The senmai sashimi had a beautiful whitish color, which was different from the gray one I had seen before. It was so fresh and delicious when dipped in the sweet and sour sauce. The thick-cut tongue was tender and the simmered beef tripe was full of juicy beef tripe with an elegant seasoning that was not too sweet or too spicy, simply exquisite. The salted hormone was large and the more you chew, the more umami flavor came out. I then added an order of "yami mori" (small) which is a mix of various hormones, and upper harami because I saw others enjoying it. The "yami mori" was fun to try with a variety of flavors, but I personally prefer enjoying each cut separately, so I might not order it next time. As for the upper harami, it was surprisingly delicious even raw! So tasty! I tried it slightly grilled as well, but raw was the best! The raw upper harami is amazing! For drinks, we had two draft beers, one highball, one lemon sour, and I think we ordered refills three times. The total bill was a little over 10,000 yen! The bright atmosphere, friendly service, amazing grilled meat, and chilled alcohol made it a perfect dining experience. Thank you for the delicious meal!

[Jokuta Hormone] Head to the popular hormone restaurant Jokuta Hormone in Asahigaoka, Nerima-ku, Tokyo! We arrived around 9:30 PM on a weekday and were able to enter without waiting in line. Since there were two of us, we sat at the counter. The staff promptly moved us to a slightly larger counter, which was much appreciated. We ordered a variety of hormone dishes, rice, and the recommended stew. The recommended stew was the motsu (tripe) stew, which was enough to eat as a meal on its own. And surprisingly, a bowl of rice... The medium size was overwhelmingly large, with a funny touch of a pickled plum on top. The hormone slices were large and had great value for the price, and they were delicious. My favorite was the salted hormone. The restaurant offers unique cuts like "oppai" (breast) that make you want to come back. The friendliness of the staff was top-notch, earning them a perfect score of 100. I now understand why there is always a line. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I heard that Aburi Horumon is the sister store of Oshio Horumon, so I went to Egotanda Horumon. The quality of the meat was almost the same, but the seasoning was a bit stronger. The staff were lively and there was no delay in taking orders, with high levels of customer service for each person.

Visited with 6 people for dinner. There were an unusually large variety of drinks, too many to fit on the menu apparently. We ordered a variety of items, but the Shiroro and Kobukuro sashimi were particularly memorable. The Shiroro had a perfect texture and miso sauce pairing, while the Kobukuro sashimi had a unique texture and tasted great even without garlic sauce. The enthusiastic service was also really good. Be careful not to overeat as the amount of rice served is unbelievably large.

I finally got to try Ekoda Hormone, which I've been curious about for a while! The shop always has a long line, but this time I was able to get in after waiting for about 10-15 minutes. The cost performance is great, and the food is delicious. My personal favorites, tongue and skirt steak, were delicious, and the hormone mix plate, even in a small size, had a good amount of food for the price and was tasty. It seems like there might be a long wait when it's too crowded, so I'll try to go back when the timing is right!

At 6:00 pm on weekdays, it's always fully booked at 6:00 pm! Before 6:00 pm, there is always a line forming on the stairs leading to the second floor of the restaurant. Starting with the endless bean sprouts, which I could eat forever! Maybe I can go on a diet with this... Next, the pork tongue after a long time. The crunchy texture and unique chewiness, the more you chew, the more delicious it gets. So tasty! From here on, it's a parade of deliciousness. Enjoying the classic white horumon and fuegarami, and even trying the matcha and vanilla gelato this time. It has a perfect balance of richness and freshness, just right to finish with! Everything was really delicious from start to finish!! The restaurant was as bustling as ever, and the staff were full of energy as always♪

During the self-restraint period, I went out to eat for the first time in a while at Echoda Horumon. Reservations are only available for the opening at 6:00 PM. It's almost full as soon as it opens, so it's recommended to make a reservation even on weekdays. Once seated, start by ordering drinks in order. Once the drinks are served throughout the restaurant, proceed to order food in order. Wait patiently for your turn. I started with a draft beer and a lemon sour. The frozen lemon x Kanemi ice x sour. The lemon is frozen from the bottom. The combination of alcohol x alcohol got me excited, and I drank it like crazy, similar to Kanemi Umewari from Shimonenya. For additional orders, make sure to order before the lemon melts completely. The famous bean sprouts (350 yen) are served in a generous portion, and you can eat them endlessly. Depending on the meat part you order, it may take some time to be served, so it's better to order something you can nibble on quickly. Changja (350 yen) is consistently delicious. Senmai sashi (650 yen) is first eaten without dipping anything. I like this a lot. Next, I tried it with vinegar miso. The sweet reddish vinegar miso is effective. It's delicious, but I prefer to have a small amount as a side dish. The famous salt horumon (650 yen) is well cooked from the pink skin side. It has a strong salty taste that goes well with alcohol. Shimachou (690 yen) is the cow's large intestine. Maruchou is the cow's small intestine. I didn't know, so I looked it up. It's fresh and delicious, but it might overlap with the salt horumon, so another choice might have been better. But it's still delicious. Upper mino (650 yen) is a different type of mino that I'm familiar with. It's soft, fresh, and feels like a different part. Yan (650 yen) is located between the second and third stomachs of the cow. It has elasticity and sweetness. It's a rare part and is said to be a test of the horumon restaurant's skills, but it's not often seen. It's also known as "Hachikabu." I want to try liver, kutsu-bera, and fuegarami next time!
