On August 25, 2023 (Friday), I had the following dishes:
- Negiyaki (Green Onion Pancake with Pork) for ¥1,100 (tax included)
- Teppanyaki Tonpei (Grilled Pork on Iron Plate) for ¥760 (tax included)
"Negiyaki" Story:
"Negiyaki" was born around the 1960s by the Yodo River in Juso. The newly established "Okonomiyaki Yamamoto" was a small restaurant run by the owner, Takahide Yamamoto, with children helping out after school. Takahide, as a meal for the growing children who helped at the store every day, made an okonomiyaki with various ideas based on the "One Sen Western Food" he ate when he was young, and served it in a corner of the counter. Gradually, discerning customers began to request, "That looks delicious," "I want that too!" Three years later, the "Negiyaki" with plenty of green onions was named and added to the menu. About fifty years later... thanks to everyone's support, Yamamoto's "Negiyaki" has now become a "Osaka taste" that many customers can enjoy.
On February 20, 2018 (Tuesday), I had:
- Negiyaki with plenty of green onions, fluffy and cooked with special soy sauce and lemon. Sujinegi (Beef & Pork) for ¥1,190.
- Cola for ¥230.
On November 19, 2017 (Sunday), I had:
- Negiyaki with plenty of green onions, fluffy and cooked with special soy sauce and lemon. Deluxe Negi (Squid, Beef, Pork, Tendon) for ¥1,800.
- Yakisoba with spicy sauce. Deluxe Yakisoba (Squid, Beef, Pork, Fried Egg) for ¥1,190.
