Hello, this is Ayapoyo (^ ^) Thank you for viewing! I look forward to your likes, follows, and saving the restaurant! Please also check out my Instagram ★
Located as a second store of Shirukuya, a restaurant with its main store in Nishi-Azabu. This restaurant is themed around Awaji Island, using abundant ingredients from Awaji Island to offer a full course meal.
- One-bite hamburger
First, starting with the famous one-bite hamburger. The filling is Awaji beef tsukudani. Sweet, savory, and fragrant, it builds anticipation for the upcoming full course.
- Fuki no Tou macaron
Surprisingly, the macaron shell is sweet! The interesting harmony of sweet and slightly bitter/salty flavors was delightful.
- Carrot mousse
The cute leaf-shaped cumin cookie is accompanied by carefully selected herbs from Awaji. The carrots are cooked with only water, so the gentle sweetness of the ingredient matched perfectly with consommé jelly.
- Pufferfish shirako and turnip soup
The luxurious shirako and turnip mixed well with the gentle broth, creating a wonderful marriage of flavors.
- Common squid and spear squid carpaccio
A luxurious carpaccio made with two types of squid. The lemon and olive oil bring out the goodness of the squid ingredients.
- Bamboo shoot and rapeseed flower sauté
Bamboo shoots and rapeseed flowers go well together! The green bean paste on top, made from seaweed, adds a touch of saltiness. It paired well with sakura salt, evoking a sense of spring.
- Seared sea bream with taro
Surprisingly, there is a taiyaki on top of the seared sea bream! (゚∀゚) More accurately, it's a pie crust, but the playful touch seems to appeal to women! The américaine sauce is rich and delicious.
- Fresh spring rolls
This was the MVP of the day! It was packed with ingredients such as Iburi Gakko and kinkan that you wouldn't expect to find in fresh spring rolls. I wish they would sell them individually!
- Steak and hamburger
The hamburger was cooked slowly on the iron plate in front of us for about two dishes, so I felt emotionally attached and full of 'I raised this!' sentiment. The finished product is a beautifully round shape with a crispy crust and a soft, rare center. The hamburger is made from parts that were not used for the steak or removed tendons, embodying the spirit of SDGs. The steak and the hamburger made from parts that couldn't be used for steak are served on individual uniquely shaped plates. When these plates are stacked, they form a square plate, conveying a message along with its design.
- Kimchi hot pot
- Hashed beef
For the finish, you can choose from three types of rice: shirako and umeboshi sauté, or white rice. We asked for all three, but unfortunately, it was limited to one per person (I wanted to try them all...!). I shared with a friend who invited me, and we narrowed it down to two. On this day, I was grateful to have my birthday celebrated, and a surprise plate was brought out! The interior is chic and sophisticated, with a calm and refined atmosphere, and with private rooms available, it seems suitable for business meals as well. It is also suitable for date nights watching the teppanyaki cooking at the counter, and they are accommodating for surprises, making it a versatile and recommended restaurant for various occasions. I had a delicious and enjoyable time (*^^*)
