The concentrated umami is captivating. Grilled dish, true bonito. Chu-toro, a soft and refreshing impression. Akami, a hint of acidity spreads gently with a powerful richness. Ko-hire, elegantly carries the impression of tuna. It delivers a crisp saltiness and acidity, allowing you to fully savor the umami in the back of your throat. Botan shrimp, tuna, and ko-hire contrast in flavor. Extremely tender octopus. Thick Ishigaki scallop, a taste that evokes summer. Sweetfish, an elegant aroma that also delights with umami. I visited a sushi restaurant in Ginza for work. It was an important meal, so I couldn't take any photos. However, when a bottle of sake with a label that said "Ramu-chan" was brought out, I pretended to be drunk and took a picture. I was told the name of the sake, but I was too drunk to remember. The sushi prepared by the cheerful chef at the white wooden counter was very delicious and made with great care using seasonal ingredients. It's no wonder this restaurant has a Michelin star. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

On this day, I enjoyed a luxurious course that showcased the meticulous work of the head chef, highlighting the "seasonal" flavors. This is a hidden sushi restaurant located in Kamiyamacho, specifically in Tanimachi 9-chome. I had heard rumors about the skills of this place and was curious to find out the truth. When I called ahead, the sincere response from the master when they were fully booked convinced me that this was the place to go. And I was right! Nowadays, there are so many sushi restaurants around, but the quality varies. Good quality definitely equals delicious food! The restaurant is run by the master and a young chef, and it is a small place with only a few seats at the counter. They are considerate of time, which I appreciated. I managed to get a reservation for dinner even though they were fully booked, and I was grateful for that. When I asked for permission to take photos, the young master said, "It's okay, but it's not really something worth taking a picture of." This unique personality and dedication were quite impressive. The course consisted of: - Vinegared crab - Simple sea bass with wasabi soy sauce - Bonito with onion soy sauce - Yellowtail with yuzu pepper - Amberjack with miso - Squid with soy sauce - Striped jack - Shirako (milt) - Medium fatty tuna Each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The food was top-notch, and the service was excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend.

Michelin-starred sushi restaurant Sushi Yuuden offers simple yet delicious sushi with perfect balance of rice texture, topping, and presentation. They pay attention to every detail and provide a stable dining experience. The chef adjusts the number of pieces based on your appetite. On this day, we had 9 appetizers, 11 pieces of sushi, flavorful red miso soup, and their signature egg omelette. I always add extra "toro" and the chef once said, "Our sushi may not be Instagrammable," but for me, the taste and ambiance are satisfying enough. Their ginger is also delicious, especially the block-cut ginger. There was a foreign customer seated next to us, and the chef was explaining sushi using a fish encyclopedia. Hopefully, with the Michelin recognition, it won't become too difficult to make a reservation for foreigners. I want more people to know about this place, but at the same time, I feel conflicted. Another delicious meal today. Thank you. Lunch and dinner are priced around 25,000-30,000 yen. Next year, when things settle down, I plan to bring my parents to this Michelin-starred restaurant.

I had been curious about Sushi Yuuden for a long time and was really looking forward to it. It is located right on the main street, so it is very easy to find. The only seating available is at the counter, and being able to see the chef's hands at work right in front of you doubles the excitement. Sushi Yuuden is just a short walk from the Tamatsukuri 9-chome Station ⭐️ With a Tabelog rating of 3.40, the service and atmosphere are rated 5 stars, and the average cost is around 22,000 yen per person. Located at 3-8-25 Kamishio, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Starting with a delicious appetizer, my heart was immediately captivated. The bonito and sashimi brought happiness to my mouth. Yuden in Tani-machi. It's a sushi restaurant that has received the Michelin star for two consecutive years. This was my first visit. The sushi rice was on the larger side. The sushi was delicious, but the prices were high. The head chef was quite talkative, but preferences may vary in terms of comfort. Since the reservation time is not divided into two parts, those who dislike high-end restaurants in busy areas or restaurants that are difficult to reserve may find it very crowded. It was delicious. The highlight was the Toro Taku, a specialty of the restaurant, which had a perfect balance of tuna and rice. The overall experience was great, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended for sushi lovers.

I was curious about this sushi restaurant in Tanukawa. I was lucky to have the counter all to myself when I went early! The sushi rice had no strong taste and was delicious! It was personally to my liking (*^_^*) The shape of the sushi was also very beautiful and it reminded me of the sushi I had at Namaru a long time ago. The head chef seemed intimidating at first glance, but he was actually funny and a nice person when we talked. ( ^ω^ )

There is a sushi restaurant called Yuuden in Uemotomachi that opened about 2 and a half years ago. They received a Michelin star shortly after opening. The meal started with a white miso dish, followed by three types of sashimi. The seared skin of the spear squid was crispy and delicious, complementing the fatty flesh perfectly. This was followed by grilled belt fish and snow crab. It's like a dream time for sake lovers. After a squid sushi, they served grilled squid legs. The random order of side dishes and sushi is enjoyable. Then came the cod milt after two types of sushi. Toro, marinated tuna, and gizzard shad sushi followed. The sea urchin was served in abundance, and then came shrimp hand rolls. The simmered octopus was incredibly tender. Next was simmered conger eel and kampyo, followed by red miso soup, tamago, and pickles to finish. The bill came to around 50,000 yen for two people. The sushi was delicious, with a solid and traditional craftsmanship evident in every bite. The rice was slightly on the refreshing side, allowing the flavors of the toppings to shine through. The sake was also excellent, and the pricing seemed reasonable. While it may be slightly more expensive compared to other places like Kizuna Sushi, the advantage is that this restaurant is relatively easy to make reservations at. I was able to secure a table with a reservation made the day before. It might be a bit of a luxury, but when you feel like indulging in delicious sushi and side dishes with drinks, this is a good place to consider.

I visited again tonight and as always, the exterior is elegant and the interior is sophisticated and calm. I left the meal in the chef's hands and it was a wonderful experience. The dishes included a variety of seasonal seafood like sea bream, bonito, oysters, squid, mackerel, crab, uni, shrimp, and more. Two people visited for the first time in the evening on a holiday. This sushi restaurant is located near the Tanimachi Kyuchome Station on the Osaka Metro, with only 8 counter seats and offering an omakase experience. Despite being open for less than two years, the restaurant has already been awarded one Michelin star in the 2021 guide. I was very curious about this sushi restaurant near a place I often visit, so I decided to visit with a friend who made a reservation for us. According to my friend, when making the reservation over the phone, they didn't ask for any specific preferences, so they seemed to determine the course on the spot based on our preferences and reactions. We enjoyed a beautifully presented and delicious sushi course at the counter that evening. Each dish was served for one person. The chef was friendly and we had a nice chat for about two hours, making the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. The sushi rice had a perfect balance with the high-quality toppings, and everything tasted delicious. The restaurant only serves sushi, with no other menu options available. Since it was during a state of emergency, alcohol service was not available, so I'm not sure about the drink menu. I wonder when we will be able to enjoy a leisurely meal without partitions in place.

Sushi Yuuden 3-8-25 Kamishio, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture A Michelin one-star sushi restaurant with a reservation-only policy. Located just a minute's walk from the intersection of Tanimachi 9-chome, it is easy to miss with its inconspicuous noren curtain. Once inside, you will find a clean and simple interior with a 160-year-old hinoki cypress L-shaped counter, which is quite appealing. The head chef, Yuya Nishimura, trained at the renowned Fukui Sushi and worked at The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto before establishing his own restaurant in 2019, promptly earning a Michelin one-star rating. Unlike many starred restaurants, they do not follow a two-part seating system but instead distribute reservations according to the customers' preferred visit times, which is quite admirable. In an era dominated by red vinegar, they choose to compete with white vinegar, which is also commendable. What I particularly liked was the chef's aesthetic sense, where the set course and omakase are different. The set course is a one-sided proposal by the restaurant for first-time customers, while regular customers who have visited multiple times have their preferences remembered and are offered dishes tailored to their tastes for omakase. As a result, you won't get the same dishes as the customer next to you, and the prices will also vary accordingly. This approach requires avoiding a simultaneous start. This is my personal preference, and I felt that this is what sets apart those who earn stars. I also enjoyed the meticulous work, such as the temperature and firmness of the vinegar, the precise cutting of the ingredients, and the finishing touches on the dishes, which reflect the chef's background in hotel Japanese cuisine. It was a place that made me want to visit again for a while. ✨

[Visit Date] Dinner on August 6, 2021 [Order] Omakase On this evening, I went to a sushi restaurant, Sushi Yuden, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Tanimachi Kyuchome. They had a full house, but they kindly prepared a seat for me. The restaurant has a counter with about 9 seats. The meal started with a few appetizers, followed by a mix of sushi and more appetizers in between. Overall, the flavors were quite bold. The octopus, tilefish, shrimp, and kizumaki were particularly memorable. There wasn't anything that stood out as exceptionally delicious. The chef was friendly and engaged in conversation, creating a comfortable atmosphere. I forgot to take a photo of the Senhoji oyster. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

In the town of Kamimoto, there is a sushi restaurant with Michelin stars. The head chef, originally from Hyogo, happily mentions that they were lucky to receive the stars. The restaurant is run by the head chef and a young apprentice. The rice is from Okayama and they make sure their sake selection is unique. A portrait of Princess Kikuri sits at the counter. They serve unique side dishes and follow the orthodox Kansai style of sushi making. It's a great restaurant. I arrived at 5 o'clock, ate to my heart's content, and left before other customers arrived.
