This is a stylish dumpling restaurant in Sangenjaya. The dumplings here are made without any additives or artificial seasonings. The dumplings have a chewy texture and are light and fluffy, making them very delicious. It seems to be popular among women as well, given the number of female customers in the store. They even have dessert dumplings, which are surprisingly tasty. It was my first time trying dessert dumplings, but they were surprisingly good! It seems that the key to their popularity in Sangenjaya, a young people's town, is that they offer not only dumplings but also delicious and stylish pasta dishes. I will definitely be coming back again.

The combination of wine and gyoza is surprisingly good! GYOZA SHACK has two locations in Sangenjaya, and this time I went to a different one. The menu was almost the same, but this location had fewer people and a quiet atmosphere without time limits, so I could relax. The staff were also friendly and kind. If I feel like drinking wine in Sangenjaya again, I would like to go back to this place!

Reservation at 7:00 pm on July 7, 2023 (Friday). The restaurant was fully booked as it was a Friday, and it seemed like they couldn't accommodate any walk-ins without a reservation. This place specializes in dumplings, with a variety of fillings such as pork, beef, chicken, and lamb, and offers boiled, pan-fried, and deep-fried dumplings. You can order just 3 pieces of each kind, allowing you to try a variety of flavors. It may not be your traditional dumpling spot, but it's a great choice for those looking to try different options. The staff were polite and the overall experience was delightful.

I barely managed to make a reservation on Saturday night. The dumplings were really delicious with a wide variety to choose from, but my favorite was the lamb dumplings. They are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it! About half of the customers were couples, so it's perfect for a date night.

Having dinner with gourmet young people! Perhaps they were considerate of me, a single mother in a different age group, as they took me to the popular natural wine and dumpling restaurant GYOZA SHACK DANRO. I apologize for significantly raising the average age! The place had a trendy logo and neon lights. The main branch is apparently extremely popular among young people. The counter seats surrounded the kitchen, with two 4-person tables in the back. We toasted with Ethical Sour cocktails! They change the fruit loss daily to reduce waste, which is important. This day's flavor was hassaku, light and delicious. - Sesame eggplant with prosciutto and mascarpone ¥499: A first-time combination but surprisingly good! - Cod roe carrot rapé "Michiko-style" ¥399: A slight crunch adds a nice touch. - Assorted mushroom pickles ¥399: My favorite dish here! They also offer Beer Balls on the menu. - Homemade Coke Beer Ball: Made with white cola for a gentle flavor. - Spicy anchovy broccoli ¥499: The dumplings here are said to be additive-free and no artificial seasoning. The standard is a set of 3, with the option to add more as needed. - SHACK GYOZA ¥449/3pcs + ¥150/1pc: The standard SHACK GYOZA is made without chemical seasonings or garlic. Enjoy with garlic oil and homemade shichimi on the table. - Spicy lamb dumplings ¥599/3pcs + ¥180/1pc: Lamb dumplings with red wine salt! - Bamboo shoot dumplings ¥599/3pcs + ¥180/1pc: The crunchy texture of bamboo shoots is delightful. - Gorchiki GYOZA ¥599/3pcs + ¥180/1pc: Made with Yamagata cherry chicken. A combination of gorgonzola and chicken! Although it's a natural wine shop, I didn't drink wine, so I ordered a Wine Cola. It's sweet but goes well together. For the finale, I had the Pepe-tama pasta ¥899, a unique blend of carbonara and egg! Lastly, dessert dumplings: - Rich! Chocolate banana GYOZA ¥599/3pcs + ¥180/1pc: Crispy on the outside, cool inside, with banana, cream cheese, and nuts. A great combination! I spent around ¥3000 on snacks, drinks, and had a meaningful time exchanging information. Thank you for the meal.

Overall, very good! I want to go back again! SHACK Gyoza: 3 pieces for 599 yen Spicy Lamb Gyoza: 3 pieces for 599 yen Golchiki Gyoza: 3 pieces for 499 yen Crunchy Bamboo Shoot Gyoza: 3 pieces for 699 yen Rich Chocolate Banana Gyoza: 3 pieces for 599 yen * You can add one piece at a time. Points to know: A dream come true for gyoza lovers! You can enjoy a variety of creative gyoza, and they are delicious! Plus, they are additive-free and free of chemical seasonings, so they are easy on the body. The stylish shack-like interior is cozy and popular among young people for dates. Recommended for: - Those who want to enjoy a variety of gyoza - Those who find joy in gyoza and beer - Those who want to have a gyoza date in a stylish restaurant I occasionally feel the urge to eat gyoza, so I visited this shop that caught my eye on Instagram. The narrow streets of Sangenjaya lead to this hidden gem of a location. The restaurant is bustling with young people on dates and girls' nights out, giving it a secret spot vibe. The gyoza and drink options are plentiful in this stylish restaurant. The gyoza, from classic to lamb, Gorgonzola and chicken (Golchiki), are all delicious! They are juicy yet healthy as they are additive-free, so there's no guilt the next day. The drinks selection is also extensive. This time, I tried the Ethical Sour, made with fruits of the day to reduce food waste. It was a new experience! Despite being gyoza, there is no guilt involved, perhaps because they are additive-free and stylish. It was a lovely hidden gem that I can casually visit. There seems to be a related shop nearby, so I would like to visit again.

We visited GYOZA SHACK DANRO, a restaurant in Sangenjaya where you can enjoy creative dumplings! Here's what we tried: Sesame Eggplant, Prosciutto and Mascarpone Tarako Carrot Rapa, Various Matsutake Pickles, Spicy Anchovy Broccoli, SHACK Dumplings, Spicy Lamb Dumplings, Golcchi Dumplings, Bamboo Shoot Dumplings, and Chocolate Banana Dumplings. We started with Ethical Sours for a toast - today's flavor was Japanese citrus. The dumplings come in various flavors, from standard to spicy lamb, bamboo shoot, gorgonzola and chicken, and even fruit dumplings! They are delicious and healthy, made without chemical seasonings or additives. You can enjoy them with shichimi and garlic oil, or with red wine salt. The Spicy Anchovy Broccoli appetizer was a favorite, and we ended the meal with Peperoncino and Egg Peperoncino Pasta, and dessert dumplings with cream filling. Pairing the dumplings with natural wine is recommended. They also offer a drink-all-you-can course. The stylish yet cozy atmosphere was a nice touch. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I went to a restaurant in the deep area of Sangenjaya! It's a surprising area with a lively yet calm atmosphere, perfect for a date with its counter seats and table seats. The stylish dumplings are a great excuse to invite someone on a date. The dishes I tried were:
- Sesame Eggplant and Prosciutto Mascarpone
- Tarako Carrot Rappé
- Various Woodland Pickles
- Spicy Anchovy Broccoli
- SHACKA Dumplings
- Goltiki Dumplings
- Bamboo Shoot Dumplings
- Pepe Tama Pasta
- Rich Chocolate Banana Dumplings
The standout was the SHACKA Dumplings, the signature dish of the restaurant. They were delicious and juicy, with a satisfying size. The Bamboo Shoot Dumplings had a unique crunchiness and paired well with the sauce. The Spicy Anchovy Broccoli was flavorful and went perfectly with alcohol. Whether for a date or a meal with friends, this place in Sangenjaya is worth a visit!

This time, I visited a restaurant in the Sangenjaya area that I love! "GYOZA SHACK DANRO" is a place where you can enjoy creative dumplings and natural wines. Please be careful not to confuse it with another restaurant called "GYOZA SHACK" in Sangenjaya! (I made that mistake, but the lovely staff kindly directed me to DANRO!) When I looked at the menu, I was surprised to see over 10 different types of dumplings to choose from. There are dumplings ranging from typical side dishes to dessert dumplings! The wine selection is also extensive, so you can enjoy dumplings while choosing a wine that pairs well with them. The character of the restaurant is cute, like SpongeBob! Thank you for the delicious meal!

GYOZA SHACK, a popular spot at Sancha, offers a unique experience of pairing wine with dumplings. Reservations are a must as it gets really crowded. They have a variety of dumplings that make you want to try them all. My favorite was the SHACK GYOZA (simple pork dumplings) with several dipping sauces to enjoy with friends. Thank you for the delicious meal!

There is a gyoza restaurant in Sangenjaya! Unlike Japanese pan-fried gyoza, they serve fried gyoza that is similar to Korean-style pan-fried gyoza. There are various flavors to enjoy. However, the gyoza labeled as "Yangnyeom" here was completely different from what I expected. Thank you for the meal.

I went to GYOZA SHACK in Sangenjaya for the first time! The route from the station to the restaurant was quite deep, but the restaurant itself was very stylish and perfect for dates. Everything was delicious, but the most impressive was the SHACK GYOZA, made with pork raised on beer malt from Tsukiyama Malt Pork. It was so good, with crispy skin and juicy filling. My friend and I, who are picky about dumplings, were blown away by how delicious it was. The variety of cooking methods and ingredients was impressive, and we even tried a dessert dumpling, the chocolate banana GYOZA, which was surprisingly tasty. The appetizers, drinks, and friendly staff all added to the great experience. If you love dumplings, you have to try the ones here! ✍️Top-level delicious dumplings from the past

I found a restaurant that all dumpling lovers must visit. They use no artificial seasonings, chives, or garlic, and each dumpling is paired with a different homemade sauce. As a garlic lover, I was worried if dumplings without garlic and chives would be satisfying, but I didn't need to worry at all! The meat used also varies for each dumpling - pork, chicken, beef, and lamb. My personal recommendation is the Gold Chicken GYOZA. It's a steamed dumpling, but eating it with lemon oil is a stylish and surprising way to enjoy it. It has a hint of Gorgonzola and is quite popular among women. You can also change it to a fried dumpling! They provide vinegar, garlic oil, and shichimi togarashi on the table for flavor changes during the meal. All dumplings are served in sets of 3, but you can add one piece at a time for an additional 100-180 yen each (the price per piece varies depending on the type of dumpling). They also have a great selection of drinks, and the ethical sour drink was delicious! It's a sour drink made with Japanese pear. The interior has counter seats, high tables, and a 4-person table at the back. They use cute plates from a shop called HARVEST in Ebisu. The customer base seems to be predominantly women. It seems like a great place for a casual date!

Fashionable and delicious dumplings are here♀️✨ Highly recommended for those who get bored easily with a wide variety of options - Gyoza Shack Danro in Sangenjaya@gyozashackdanro!☺️✨ "Shack" means a small hut, and the interior of the restaurant does have a rustic diner-like vibe, like in rural America. As the name suggests, the staff members were all warm and friendly like a fireplace. We enjoyed an appetizer platter, anchovy broccoli dumplings (fried, grilled, steamed), Lu Rou Fan, kale hot pot, dessert dumplings, and wine. The menu focuses on creative dumplings that can be enjoyed with wine, and it even suggests which dumplings pair well with which wines, adding to the fun of choosing dumplings based on your drink. The dumplings we had this time were all creatively unique and strong in flavor. It was difficult to keep track of which was which, but they were all delicious, so it's all good!♀️ The kale hot pot served in a small pot was impressively original in appearance, taste, and ingredient combination. It felt like waiting for a meal at a mountain hut.☺️ It was my first time trying kale hot pot, and the spicy broth, bitterness of kale, and chewy steamed dumplings complemented each other very well.✨ Dumplings always make you feel like you can eat a lot, but before you know it, you're suddenly full. It was a night of enjoying various new flavors, thanks for the feast!

I visited the second branch of danro, where I could enjoy creative dumplings, homemade craft sours, and natural wines. The first branch was full, so I opted for a more relaxed dining experience here. I ordered the following: SHACK Gyoza (grilled), Golchiki Gyoza (deep-fried), Edamame marinated in dashi, Sangria, and Fresh Lemon Sour. The SHACK Gyoza was generously filled with juicy meat and had a unique, plump shape. The Golchiki Gyoza, with gorgonzola and chicken, drizzled with lemon oil, was simply mouth-watering. They also offer other varieties like Nut & Shiso Cheese Gyoza, Spicy Lamb Gyoza, Samgyeopsal Gyoza, and Rare Cheese Gyoza. The menu is constantly changing, so you can always look forward to new and exciting options.

There is a gyoza restaurant in Sangenjaya that offers a variety of gyoza, with the Samgyupsal Gyoza being particularly delicious. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait at times. It's a popular spot for couples and girls' night out. Recommended for a date night gyoza experience.

The sister store of the creative dumplings and natural wine shop "GYOZA SHACK" located in the Sancha Triangle area opened in November 2020. The main store on the popular street with places like "Hoshigumi" is often full, but this one is relatively empty. They offer natural creative dumplings with no additives or chemicals, as well as a wide variety of natural wines. Their homemade lemon sour is also popular. The dumplings are larger, with 3 pieces per plate, and you can choose between fried, grilled, or boiled dumplings depending on the menu. The side dishes like potato salad are delicious, but the diverse range of dumplings is highly recommended. They provide different sauces for each menu item to pair with the dumplings. The signature dish "SHACK Dumplings" uses Yamagata Gassan Malt Pork and goes well with the SHACK sauce. Other options like "Nuts & Shiso Dumplings" and "Samgyopsal Dumplings" also use Yamagata Gassan Malt Pork. The "Gorgonzola Dumplings" feature Yamagata Sakuranbo Chicken and Gorgonzola cheese, served with lemon sauce. The "Spicy Lamb Dumplings" use locally sourced lamb and pair well with their homemade red wine salt. The "Margherita Dumplings" look and taste like a Margherita pizza. They even have dessert dumplings like the Rare Cheese Dumplings, offering a wide range of creative menu options to enjoy. In terms of service, the main store was better. As of October 30, 2022, rated 3.16 on Tabelog.

A gyoza restaurant located in a narrow alley in Sangenjaya. The main branch nearby was full, so we were seated at this branch. The menu is the same. The gyoza are hand-wrapped in the shop, so expectations are high. In addition to the basic gyoza, there are also lamb gyoza, gorgonzola and chicken gyoza, margherita gyoza, etc., which were interesting and delicious to eat.

Visited around 9:30 pm on a regular weekday and there was only one other group of customers. The place has around 10 seats at the counter, a couple of 2-person tables, and a couple of 4-person tables. Their homemade ginger ale is sweet and delicious with a decent amount of ginger flavor. The lemon soda with alcohol is sour, properly sweet, and tasty. The gyoza has a firm skin and delicious garlic oil. The olive and tomato salad has a addictive taste with a hint of olive umami and tomato acidity. The Genovese pasta is sweet with a good amount of garlic flavor, but compared to the main store, it was a bit too thick and the garlic was milder, so the impact of its deliciousness was not as strong.

I visited the main store before 7:30 pm on a Saturday in mid-January. It was full, so I couldn't get a seat, but they took me to a sister store where there was an available seat. The restaurant had a long layout with counter seats surrounding the kitchen and table seats along the walls. The customers were mostly young couples or groups of two women. The restaurant was known for its dumplings and natural wines, but they also had a variety of cocktails like lemon sour, lemonade-based cocktails, and wine cocktails. I ordered sangria and the following dishes:
- SHACK Dumplings (grilled)
- Drooling Chicken Dumplings (boiled)
- Spicy Lamb Dumplings (fried)
- Anchovy Cabbage
- Bolognese Dumplings
The dumplings varied in filling, sauce, and presentation depending on the type chosen, making it enjoyable to eat and watch. The dumplings were about the size of two regular dumplings, and the boiled ones had a chewy skin that was quite filling. The fried ones were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, perfect for those who like that texture. Sitting at the counter allowed me to see and hear the dumplings being cooked and served, adding to the experience. I couldn't finish all the dishes in one visit, so I would like to come back again!
