After learning that the Four Seasons Hotel Marunouchi is offering a cherry blossom afternoon tea, I decided to visit the one in Otemachi as well. Here, they feature artistic sweets by Chef Aoki and a tea selection collaborated with SOBOE on weekends. I was lucky to be seated by the window with a view from the 39th floor. The welcome drink was a cold tea. The cherry blossom afternoon tea (available from 4/1 to 4/30) costs 9800 yen on weekends and includes a choice of 3 seasonal tea mocktails. The 2-tier stand arrived, looking less delicate than expected. The bottom tier included savory items like bamboo shoot flan with lobster, pork ham and green pea sandwich, foie gras confit with cherry blossom leaf sablé, new onion mousse with silky pea and citrus coulis, and more. The sweets consisted of berry and cherry mousse cake, berry pistachio choux, strawberry and cherry tartlet, maple financier, cream cheese and strawberry mousse cake, and more. The cherry blossom ice cream was served at the end. The presentation reflected the transition from cherry blossom buds to full bloom, but with a different approach compared to Marunouchi. The inclusion of strawberries was a good touch, and the macarons were cute. The sweets tended to be on the sweeter side, so the tea selection from SOBOE like "Wazuka Wako Black Tea" or "Kabusecha Tsuyuhikari" paired well. Scones were served separately, with cherry and lemon jams. The cherry blossom theme focused on fruits, making it challenging to incorporate originality. I enjoyed experiencing the different cherry blossom themes in the two afternoon teas. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had afternoon tea at this place. I was seated comfortably on the lobby sofa. The desserts included mango dessert, a two-tiered dessert, scones, and soft serve ice cream. For savory items, there were classic sandwiches as well as unique options like foie gras and coulis, which were like French appetizers and very delicious. The desserts were also tasty, especially the freshly baked scones in plain and citrus flavors. They were served with clotted cream, raspberry, and mango jam for a variety of toppings. Soft serve ice cream was also served, which was a nice treat for the summer. The drink selection was wide, including matcha and tea cocktails, making it enjoyable to choose from different genres of beverages.

I went to a fancy afternoon tea that I love mango. The view was beautiful and it felt luxurious. It cost 8,800 yen on weekdays. You can have as many drinks as you want, and of course, all the mango sweets were delicious. The people staying at the hotel were all rich foreigners.

I had a melon afternoon tea at The Lounge on the 39th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi. I made a reservation for 11:00 am on a weekday. The only downside was that the next available time slot was 1:30 pm. This time, I didn't get a sofa seat or a window seat, which was a bit disappointing. The table seat had a good view and was relaxing, but I still prefer the sofa seat. The melon afternoon tea I had this time was amazing. The sweets were beautifully presented and each one looked so cute and carefully made. There were innovative menu items like foie gras with melon and basil with melon. It wasn't just about the appearance, the taste was also incredible. I enjoyed trying to guess what each item was while looking at the menu. The melon served at the end was a bit disappointing as it was firm and not very sweet. I wish they would choose better quality melons. The view and service were fantastic, as always, making it a very satisfying afternoon tea experience. The menu included: Savory - Pork ham and cucumber with melon puree sandwich - Foie gras confit with maple cream and melon tartlet - Zucchini flan with melon coulis, ricotta cheese, dill, and mint oil - Melon gazpacho with tomato mousse, marinated squid, crispy quinoa - Smoked salmon rillette with spinach, cherries, and sour cream Sweets - Melon and citrus opera with orange passion cream - Cream cheese mousse with red meat melon confiture - Melon tart with custard cream - Coconut mousse and melon jelly - Basil pound cake with vanilla cream and pistachio - Melon shortcake with green apple sauce - Melon and strawberry vacherin Scones - Raisin - Melon

I had a mango parfait at the Italian restaurant Pigneto located on the 39th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi. The parfait changes seasonally, and in June it's mango. I made a reservation for 3:00 PM on a weekday and was seated by the window with a wonderful view of the Imperial Palace gardens below. The impact of the passion fruit choux at the top was impressive, with just the right amount of sweetness that paired well with the coconut Chantilly cream. The quality of this dessert is outstanding and stands on its own. The mango sorbet underneath was smooth and refreshing, and the Miyazaki mango was sweet and delicious. The small almond crumbles added a nice texture without being overwhelming. The lime gel and pineapple compote provided a gentle acidity that complemented the sweetness well. The balance of sweetness and acidity, as well as fruit and sorbet, was perfect. This parfait was a personal favorite, and I could see why others have praised it so highly. I wish I had visited sooner. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited for a holiday lunch course. Since reservations fill up quickly, I recommend booking early for those considering it. First of all, the view is very nice. Champagne with a view from the 32nd floor in the center of Tokyo made me feel a sense of luxury. The food was also very delicious. The sirloin steak had more volume than I had imagined compared to other main dishes. The "Inca's Awakening" and pistachio tart were so delicious that I can't forget the taste. I would like to visit again on a special day.

I visited on Saturday at 7:00 PM. I didn't know there was a all-you-can-drink option at the hotel's bar lounge! The set antipasto had a variety of items like prosciutto, cheese, and jelly, and it was delicious. The amount was just right for a light drink. The large windows and spacious seating provided a sense of openness. And of course, the hospitality of the staff was excellent! I definitely want to visit again.

Chef Aoki's desserts are perfect in terms of beauty, delicacy, and deliciousness, making it a safe bet whenever you visit. The tea selection, especially the collaboration with SABOE on weekends, allows you to enjoy Japanese tea as well. The Japanese black tea is delicious, and the 3-year aged hojicha pairs well with the dishes. However, the only downside seems to be the service. Despite being a top-notch hotel, there were some instances that left something to be desired. For example, the staff couldn't explain the herbal teas, the way last orders were taken seemed rushed and one-sided, and there were issues with retrieving coats from the cloakroom. It's a shame considering how excellent the food is. But the restaurant was fully booked, so it's understandable that they were busy. It's sad to hear that Chef Aoki is retiring, but we will continue to support him!

I enjoyed the Sakura Afternoon Tea at The Lounge on the 39th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi. I made a reservation for 11 am on a weekday. Although it was a bit early, the next available time was 1:30 pm, so I had no choice. The view from the 39th floor, overlooking the Imperial Palace gardens, was spectacular. I was seated on a comfortable sofa this time, which was a first for me. The service was prompt and efficient, with the welcome tea served immediately followed by the tea stand. The afternoon tea set was beautifully themed around cherry blossoms, with savory and sweet treats reflecting the changing stages of the sakura season. The use of spring ingredients like bamboo shoots, sakura shrimp, and spring onions added to the high quality of the food. Everything was delicious. The free-flowing drinks included three seasonal mocktails, which was a nice touch. The attentive service made for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I felt that the Four Seasons Hotel truly lived up to its reputation. While the price may be on the higher side, the value is definitely there. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I went to THE LOUNGE at the Four Seasons Hotel Otemachi and tried the seasonal parfait (Rhubarb & Berry) ☺️ We went after 6 pm, and during that time, there was a live music performance that added to the soothing atmosphere along with the sparkling night view, so I highly recommend it! Please note that there is an additional music charge of 1,000 yen after 6 pm. We ordered the Seasonal Parfait with 1 drink - 4,200 yen (including tax and service charge), Margherita - 3,600 yen, Truffle French Fries - 3,000 yen. The seasonal parfait was introduced with a cute illustration. The tart part on top of the glass is moved to a separate plate. Each component in the glass, from sorbet and sauce to each fruit, was delicious on its own, but the combination of all the flavors was well thought out. Enjoying the cranberry sauce with the gelato's aroma and sweetness, the crisp texture of rhubarb, and the light crumble texture, followed by the fading basil aroma after each bite, left a refreshing feeling in the mouth. As you progress through the parfait, the richness of pistachio, the soft texture of the jelly, and the richness and aroma of the cheese add to the lingering taste. When you cut into the tart, you'll be surprised by how thin the tart crust is. You can feel the airy softness of the meringue, followed by the texture of the tart. The inside of the tart is moist, while the outside crumbles easily. The freshness of lemon and yuzu, with the lingering scent of yuzu, remains in the aftertaste. Although the tuile is thin, its texture makes a strong statement, adding a nice accent to the overall soft texture, making it enjoyable to chew on and eventually melt in your mouth. The raspberry's acidity was also a good accent. The parfait was truly delicious as expected! This parfait is available until the end of April. I'm looking forward to the new seasonal parfait that will be available from May onwards! Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo Otemachi 39F, 1-2-1 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

I used it for afternoon tea. The location is a bit hard to find. The interior is luxurious with a view of the Imperial Palace from the window side. The atmosphere is amazing. The afternoon tea offers a wide variety of drinks and each dessert and savory item is carefully crafted, remaining delicious even as time passes. The prices are a bit high, but I believe they are worth it.

【Scene】Date/Friends/Family/Entertainment/Solo I went to the lounge on the 39th floor of the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL in Otemachi to enjoy the Chocolate Afternoon Tea until the end of March! It was a cloudy day, but the lounge had a great view and a cute atmosphere. The delicious sweets and savory items went well with the tea menu. Just a 3-minute walk from Otemachi Station C4/C5 exits, on the 39th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel, you'll find a delightful Afternoon Tea experience. The Chocolate Afternoon Tea features a variety of sweet and savory treats, such as Blackberry Mousse Chocolate, Opera Cake, and Chicken and Rapeseed Sandwiches. The Executive Pastry Chef, Yusuke Aoki, creates artful desserts that are truly enticing. The seasonal tea mocktails are a nice touch, with options like Mocha Blanc and Citrus Green Tea. The extensive beverage menu also includes various teas, coffees, and cocktails. The view from the 39th floor seating area adds to the charm of this experience. It's definitely worth a visit in different seasons.

Chocolat Strawberry Afternoon Tea on the 39th floor, we were seated at a very nice table! The food was honestly average. The savory items had flavors that might be difficult for the general public, especially the green pea mousse. When we asked for a birthday surprise, they brought it with a card. The savory items included chicken and rapeseed sandwich, bacon and foie gras brulee with Caesar mayonnaise, apple red wine compote and cocoa nib duck breast and cucumber crepe, walnut and maple cream, balsamic reduction green pea mousse, yuzu chocolate tartlet, kumquat and broccoli lobster marinated and jelly, bisque cream and cocoa sablé, blackberry mousse, chocolat comté chocolate opera cake, earl grey and berry mousse cake, raspberry pistachio opera cake, strawberry and yuzu financier, mini chocolate shoe, cassis and berry glass dessert, scones chocolate raspberry.

Valentine's season at Valrhona with a chocolate-themed afternoon tea! The sweets by Chef Aoki were so delicious that it felt like a waste to finish them. The variety of savory and sweet treats in the afternoon tea set was lovely. The scones, in raspberry and chocolate flavors, were both incredibly tasty. Fresh strawberries added a refreshing touch to the experience.

This was the best afternoon tea I've ever had. The scones were especially delicious and my personal favorite. I would gladly pay for the same thing again because I loved it so much. And to top it off, we also got some strawberries, so my stomach was very happy and satisfied in the end.

I wanted to have afternoon tea (Nun activity). It was my first time visiting, and the lobby on the first floor had a wonderful aroma. The lounge had a great view of Tokyo's cityscape through the large windows. There were not many obstructions around, and the scenery and atmosphere were just amazing. The Nun activity started with the strawberry special, which was of high quality and made with care. The drink options were plentiful, so there was no chance of getting bored. The original drinks were also delicious. The service was outstanding, of course! I would love to stay here next time.

I had a holiday afternoon tea at a lounge restaurant. Personally, I liked the taste and atmosphere here better than PIGNETO. There was an unexpected incident on this day, but they kindly dealt with it and I was impressed by their service. Honestly, I feel that they treated me more kindly than any other hotel I have visited before. The atmosphere, service, and taste are all top-notch. I will visit again.

Opened on September 1, 2020 in Otemachi, Tokyo, the hotel is located on the 3rd floor and 34-39th floors of "Otemachi One," a building consisting of "Otemachi One Tower" and "Mitsui Building," with a total of 190 rooms. The lobby on the top 39th floor offers a spectacular view of the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Bay, and Mount Fuji, creating a dynamic yet elegant space. The Executive Pastry Chef, Yosuke Aoki, is known for his expertise in creating sweets such as Christmas cakes. With a career that started at a French pastry shop in Shiga Prefecture, Chef Aoki has honed his skills in various countries including Tokyo, Toronto, Paris, and the Middle East. He has won awards at numerous international pastry competitions, including a championship at the Valrhona Chocolate Chef Competition (C3) in New York. Chef Aoki's afternoon tea features seasonal fruits as the main ingredient, such as Shine Muscat grapes paired with pink cassis chocolate and raspberry mousse, capturing the essence of late summer. The menu also includes treats using walnuts, pears, and a rich Mont Blanc, showcasing the flavors of the upcoming autumn season. The Mont Blanc parfait has been upgraded from last year, with a more elaborate presentation and a refined blend of flavors including roasted green tea, persimmon, and yuzu. Reservations are recommended due to the popularity of the afternoon tea and parfait.

Tokyo Recommended Afternoon Tea Among the hotel afternoon teas in Tokyo, this one is highly recommended! It's a bit pricier compared to others, but it includes plenty of high-quality ingredients and the savory and sweet items are both delicious and well thought out. ⭐️5⭐️ I want to go all the time. I love it so much that I don't want to tell anyone about it. ⭐️4⭐️ If someone asks for a recommendation, I will introduce this place. I would love to go if I have the chance. ⭐️3⭐️ I might go again. ⭐️2⭐️ Hmm... I would prefer to try a different place. ⭐️1⭐️ I don't want to go. Personally, I do not recommend it. I made a reservation and went for afternoon tea. It was a mango-themed afternoon tea. The view was amazing, and the service was excellent. The floor was decorated with flowers, and even the restroom was very clean. The food was delicious, but it didn't leave a big impression on me. Thank you for the meal!
