Tokyo Station Hotel is a classic hotel that opened in 1915 inside Tokyo Station's Marunouchi building and is now designated as an important cultural property by the government. With over 100 years of history, it was loved by literary giants such as Kawabata Yasunari, Matsumoto Seicho, and Edogawa Rampo. Despite my knowledgeable tone, I actually only recently learned that there was a hotel inside Tokyo Station! My family, who now lives in Tokyo, told me about it when they purchased a hardcover book about the station during the 2012 Tokyo Station redevelopment, and they expressed their desire to stay at Tokyo Station Hotel, which eventually sparked my own interest. Five months ago, in preparation for my 1000th review milestone, I booked the Tokyo Station Hotel Palace Side Breakfast Buffet Plan. On the second day of my Tokyo stay, my family and I checked in together. We enjoyed dinner at the Camellia Bar & Cafe that night. The next morning, which I was also looking forward to, we headed to the Guest Lounge Atrium for the breakfast buffet. We climbed the private staircase and entered the floor, located on the top floor of the central attic of the station building, with a bright and open space featuring skylights and brick walls. They offer over 110 types of Japanese and Western dishes at all times, with the most popular being made-to-order egg dishes prepared right in front of you. I also had an omelette made for me, while my family focused on their favorite Japanese dishes. We also indulged in desserts and left feeling very full. The hotel's impression is not only about the luxurious rooms, but also the unique and interesting aspect of being built inside the station building, with views of the station's dome and central entrance visible from the corridors. For my family, who introduced me to Tokyo Station Hotel, and for myself, the joy of being able to stay at this dream hotel is something I want to express in my 1000th review.

I had the pleasure of enjoying the Laura Ashley Afternoon Tea at the Tokyo Station Hotel's guest-exclusive lounge, Atrium. The lounge, usually used for breakfast by guests, is located in the attic of the station building and features a high ceiling and spacious layout. This special Afternoon Tea, in collaboration with Laura Ashley celebrating their 70th anniversary, was a delight. The welcome drink, a fruit tea served in a charming Laura Ashley rose-patterned glass pot, was delicious. The sweets and savories were all tasty, with my favorite being the White Chocolate Gateau with a rose design, a signature of Laura Ashley. The homemade mango jam served with scones was particularly outstanding. The Afternoon Tea also came with Laura Ashley amenities as a lovely gift. The service was impeccable, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the experience. I will definitely be returning for more. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I stayed at Tokyo Station Hotel in Tokyo Station and had some time before check-in, so I went to the hotel's spa to relax. I enjoyed the sauna and cold water bath 8 times! The second picture is a no-makeup, unedited photo taken with a regular camera (left) and a no-makeup photo taken with a beauty app (right). The view of the Imperial Palace from the room was exciting. The convenience was great, the room was lovely, and I would love to stay here again.

I stayed here before because the breakfast was really good. The buffet is well organized and feels hygienic with everything individually wrapped. Even the sandwiches are packaged in a stylish way, which must take a lot of effort. The desserts are also delicious. Personally, I think the melons were better before. Overall, the quality is high and it gets you excited. Staying here just for the breakfast is worth considering.

It's rare for me to stay in a regular hotel instead of a capsule hotel (laughs). I usually choose capsule hotels to save money, but because of my body shape, I can't relax in a bath unless the hotel has a large communal bath (^◇^;). I was looking for a nice hotel and embarrassingly found out that the iconic brick-built Tokyo Station is actually a hotel. It was 10-20 times more expensive than my usual hotel, but I decided to stay there because it felt like fate. The hotel was three stories high (with a special restaurant on the fourth floor) and the room was much wider than I'm used to, making it a completely different experience. The highlight of my stay was the young male staff member at the breakfast venue (atrium) who had an unforgettable smile and seemed genuinely happy while talking. Thank you so much m(_ _)m. #TokyoStation #TokyoStationHotel #Opened in 1915 during the 4th year of the Taisho era.

Theme: Afternoon Tea Time♪ (80) Category: Outdoor Dining I had afternoon tea at KAMPARI and The Tokyo Station Hotel's "Camellia". I made a reservation through Ikyu. The price was 6,780 yen and the welcome drink was a non-alcoholic "Kiwi and Sudachi Cocktail". It was refreshing and delicious. The afternoon tea consisted of savory and sweets on two tiers. I heard that the savory options were plentiful. Savory dishes included: - Smoked Salmon Roulade - Two types of Egg and Potato - Today's Carpaccio (maybe Sea Bream?) - Marinated Shrimp and Mushrooms - Pate de Campagne and Brioche - Duck Confit Petit Quiche with Truffle flavor - Sandwich wrapped in paper It was my first time having an afternoon tea with a variety of savory options, and everything was delicious! I especially liked the Duck Confit Petit Quiche with Truffle flavor. Sweets included: - Mango Mousse, Chocolate, Madeleine - Strawberry Shortcake - Lemon Tart - Gateau Chocolat - Strawberry, Grape The sweets were not elaborate, but they were carefully made and delicious. I wondered if there were scones, but I was already full. I was very satisfied. The drinks were free refills with a 2-hour time limit, and the last order for drinks was 90 minutes in. The teapot had enough for about two cups. I had plenty to drink. I reserved a seat in the Passage area, which had a wide space between tables and felt like a semi-private room. All seats had a view of the KITTE building next door. It is directly connected to Tokyo Station. I went to support the Konpeito family with overnight care, and I was tired after working three times as hard as usual. But it was fun to see Pudding's growth and chat with Konpeito. ★ For the article on Laduree's Mother's Day Afternoon Tea, click here ★ For the article on The Peninsula Tokyo's Strawberry Afternoon Tea, click here ★ For the article on Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo's Halloween Afternoon Tea, click here

I stayed at Tokyo Station Hotel and had breakfast at the guest-only atrium buffet. The space used to be unused in the Marunouchi Station building, but has been transformed into a guest lounge. The classic atmosphere, with original bricks from the building's construction, adds to the charm of the hotel. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and the hospitality was excellent. The breakfast cost over 5,000 yen, but it was worth it. I enjoyed a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, including sukiyaki, salad, pumpkin mousse, scallop marinade, eel on rice crackers, and curry. The sukiyaki was a bit sweet but delicious. I skipped the made-to-order egg dishes to save room for more food. I also tried a buttered toast with whitebait, apricot Danish, and a traditional Edo period rice dish called "yukigeshi." The high ceilings and skylights in the atrium lounge created a spacious and elegant atmosphere. The dessert selection included walnut cake, yogurt with honey, and a rich custard. Overall, it was a delightful and satisfying breakfast experience.

I was very lucky to stay at Tokyo Station Hotel and decided to have breakfast the next morning. Due to the pandemic, buffets are quite nerve-wracking, but I enjoy having omelettes made on the spot. I also discovered a new dish called "Yukisaku-meshi," which was like a warm rice porridge with grated daikon. It was simple yet delicious and comforting. I didn't expect to find such a nice place in the heart of Tokyo Station, but I had a very elegant and enjoyable time.

I made a reservation in advance and finally visited the restaurant. I arrived at 7:30 in the morning. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide variety of Western and Japanese dishes, as well as desserts, all neatly arranged and covered for hygiene. The restaurant had about 10 groups of guests, so it felt very spacious. The high ceilings added to the luxurious atmosphere. I was seated on a comfortable sofa. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, and the daily fruit smoothie with raspberries was so delicious that I had multiple servings. I ordered a seaweed and crab omelet from the live kitchen, and it was fluffy with a refreshing seaweed aroma. The Eggs Benedict and shirasu bread were also delicious. They even brought freshly baked bread to my table upon request. The side dishes like pickles and tsukudani were delicate and not too salty, making them perfect with rice. The desserts, such as the strawberry shortcake with light cream and fluffy sponge, were of high quality for a buffet. The caramel pudding was also delicious. I usually feel rushed and end up overeating at buffets with time limits, but I was able to relax and enjoy my meal here. I will definitely come back again.

I had a wonderful breakfast. Atrium breakfast buffet. The dishes are beautifully presented and individually portioned, so you can enjoy them with peace of mind. The wide variety of choices makes it hard to decide what to eat, but I felt happy just picking out what I wanted. The Eggs Benedict, especially, were incredibly delicious. It's no wonder they're the number one favorite. I usually eat rice, but the selection of bread was so appealing. The tuna sandwich was particularly strong. Finally, I entered a meditative state with the Ronnefeldt tea recommended by my wife. A fully satisfying breakfast. As I left the hotel and looked out at the still quiet Tokyo scenery, I thought to myself, "Alright," feeling motivated.

The wedding ceremony at the Tokyo Station Hotel where I was invited was wonderful. The hotel, designed by Kingo Tatsuno in 1915, is located inside a red brick station building. It was designated as an important cultural property in 2003, temporarily closed in 2006 for restoration to its original state, and reopened in 2012. The elegant European-style space is exceptional, but most of all, the staff's hospitality is amazing. They are not overly intrusive, but always ready to help when needed. The traditional service is impeccable. The menu for the celebration included: - Osetra Caviar - Abalone, scallops, red snapper, cherry salmon, and sea urchin - Horsehair crab - Truffle and burdock - Golden eye snapper - Citrus fruits - Wagyu beef and spiny lobster - Creative sushi with two types of bluefin tuna As a reviewer, words cannot fully describe it. I personally consider it to be an outstanding celebration and cuisine beyond compare. I was deeply moved. I hope to visit again someday. It was a truly valuable experience.

Celebrating a quick recovery, my wife's birthday, and our wedding anniversary, we stayed at Tokyo Station Hotel. In the morning, we woke up early and climbed the stairs to the breakfast venue on the 4th floor of the hotel, the Atrium. They had a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes at the buffet, making it hard to decide what to choose. I started with orange juice and a croissant. The bread corner had individually wrapped warm bread. I also picked various small Japanese and Western dishes like chili shrimp, shrimp and egg, simmered dish, and chawanmushi for rice accompaniments. For a healthy touch, I added natto and grated yam. Finally, I had coffee and another croissant. I also enjoyed a colorful tomato and mozzarella caprese. After finishing the meal, the young female staff diligently cleared the dishes and offered refills of iced coffee, providing excellent service. Feeling satisfied, I savored the delicious breakfast and then returned to the room for teleworking. And no, I didn't take any leftovers with me, so just leave me alone! (-_-メ)

When I stayed at Tokyo Station Hotel, I saw many reviews recommending to have breakfast there, so even though my plan didn't include breakfast, I decided to give it a try. The dining area had high ceilings and luxurious lighting, creating a refreshing atmosphere. They had a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes prepared with thorough infection control measures. Each dish was covered, and I was impressed by the effort the staff put in. The food was delicious and satisfying! Although Eggs Benedict was not ready when I arrived, the chef personally brought it to my table when it was done. As I was taking photos before leaving, the staff kindly offered to take a picture for me, showing their excellent service. Even during check-out, the staff recognized it was a special occasion for me and printed a photo as a gift. The only concern was the price. I felt that 5000 yen for breakfast was quite expensive, especially since I didn't eat a huge amount, making the cost performance feel poor. Considering the location and service, I could somewhat understand the price. Overall, I'm glad I could experience the highly-rated hotel breakfast.

Atrium Breakfast Buffet for 5,250 yen. The space is amazing, already satisfied. There really are 100 varieties, not an exaggeration, with small Japanese and Western dishes all individually wrapped. No need for gloves. Impressed by the snow crab and seaweed omelette. The crab meat was plentiful. There was also a truffle omelette. Yuki-kai rice. Tofu porridge with grated daikon, an old recipe apparently. The best as a morning porridge. The fruit gratinée was like French toast turned into pudding. The brioche had a generous amount of custard, it was practically pudding. Fresh strawberry sauce. Homemade jams and yogurt sauces were just so fresh and fruity. The mixed smoothie had more fruit than vegetables, and was delicious. The miso soup was full of ingredients despite its small size, with chunks of salmon and root vegetables. The soup was a soy milk and vegetable potage, with a hint of burdock. Surprisingly tangy. The seasonal drink was chestnut soy latte. Similar to the high-end shortcake I had yesterday? Being able to enjoy delicious desserts in the morning left me completely satisfied. Also, the room was apparently where Seicho Matsumoto always stayed, which added to my satisfaction.

I stayed at the hotel for a Christmas jazz live dinner. It was my first time staying at a hotel, although I have been to breakfast and French restaurants before. When I stopped near the entrance, the assistant general manager kindly spoke to me and I was able to check in with a very good feeling. He also frequently spoke to me and took care of me, which I was grateful for. The Christmas Eve jazz live dinner in the atrium was very satisfying, unlike typical hotel events with a large venue and bland taste. The number of guests was just right, and the space was wide enough to create a sense of unity with the band and singer. The price was reasonable, and I thought it was a very conscientious event. The breakfast, which already had a wide variety, was meticulously prepared with each serving individually wrapped in small dishes. It exuded cleanliness and luxury. I recommend taking a walk around first, strategizing which items to prioritize before selecting them. I chose the cheapest room, so I couldn't see the outside view. For those who care about the view, I recommend considering a higher-priced room. I previously dined at the French restaurant here and had a great experience, so I would like to go again. I would love to stay here again to have breakfast in the atrium!

During the state of emergency, I had the opportunity to stay at Tokyo Station Hotel. The hotel is located inside the brick station building of Tokyo Station. It was relatively affordable, costing nearly 30,000 yen per night. I doubt I will be able to indulge in such luxury again. The breakfast venue had a high ceiling and the morning sun shone through the skylight. I was very satisfied with the breakfast itself. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Originally, it was a station hotel where we stayed during a proposal. We particularly loved the breakfast buffet and always talked about wanting to stay there again. So when we found out that they were offering just the breakfast buffet for 5,250 yen, we immediately went. Despite the ongoing pandemic, they have resumed with a slightly reduced selection. The variety of dishes was outstanding, with a highlight being the chef-made series. This time, there were around 5 options including omelets, toast, eggs benedict, and more. The dish that impressed me the most was the "shirasu toast". It was simple but the combination of hard bread, shirasu, and butter was incredibly delicious. I even thought about wanting to eat it forever. Another standout was the "sauteed sea bream". It had a rich flavor, and the accompanying potatoes were also delicious. The oysters were also tasty and didn't disappoint. I wanted to eat the delicious items more than once, but I'm not young anymore so I had to stop at 80% full. The drinks were also abundant and delicious! The freshly squeezed orange juice was better than eating the orange itself, and the smoothies were also very tasty. The hojicha ice cream was very gentle on the stomach for the second half of the meal. Everything was delicious, so it's recommended to take a break with pickles or something light after indulging in rich foods. Of course, 5,000 yen for breakfast is not cheap, but by sacrificing one night of drinking out, it becomes worth it to come here (●´ω`●). My husband and I have decided to come here every year.

Breakfast Buffet on Sunday morning was meticulously prepared, with each dish carefully crafted and beautifully presented. The dishes were full of flavors that highlighted the deliciousness of the ingredients, and everything was delicious. The cauliflower mousse was particularly outstanding, with a gentle, fluffy texture reminiscent of mashed potatoes. The bite-sized una-ju and inari sushi topped with sea urchin were also delicious. Made-to-order omelets and steaks were available, and the separately ordered sautéed abalone was exquisite. The drink selection was extensive, including almond milk, various herbal teas, and hojicha latte. The staff were attentive, constantly replenishing dishes, clearing tables, and refilling coffee. Their service was very polite and made for a comfortable dining experience. The ingredients were well represented and the taste was deep and satisfying. The cheesecake was a baked type with a soft and moist texture, not crispy like a tart crust. It paired well with the fruit's acidity for a refreshing taste. A hotel located inside Tokyo Station. I love this hotel, it's so calming. I wonder if it's because of my age? I always choose the Dome Side room. While it's nice to enjoy a drink while looking at the night view from a high-rise hotel, I also love feeling the vibe of Tokyo while watching the flow of people at the ticket gates. The restaurants and bars are top-notch, and I often use the bar here during my Shinkansen waiting time.
