I know it's boring to say, but I'll write it in the title anyway. (;^ω^) This is not "Uminari," but "Unari-san." It's an image of a ramen shop in Nakasu where you can eat from late at night until morning. If you're looking for a place for a late-night meal in Nakasu, this is one of the options. Like a comet appearing in Fukuoka, it's been over 10 years since it first opened. It quickly expanded and now has branches all over Fukuoka. You can even eat at the airport now. This time, I went around 11 p.m., and as usual, there was a line. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I was able to sit at the counter. This time, I ordered the original and most popular menu at Unari-san, the seafood tonkotsu ramen. It costs 740 yen per bowl, but I also added a 100 yen egg. In the pork bone kingdom of Fukuoka, this shop is probably the one that introduced the combination of "tonkotsu + seafood." The use of dried fish makes it easy for people from outside Kyushu to enjoy. The base, including the thin noodles, is undoubtedly a Hakata tonkotsu ramen. It's light and manages to mask any strong pork smell. The flavor of the vegetables also blends well into the soup. The shop is constantly working on developing new menu items and has a reputation for being adventurous. When it first opened, it was like a thunderstorm appearing out of the sea. But over time, it has firmly established itself as a ramen shop in Hakata Nakasu.

It may not be a beautiful restaurant by any means, but the taste is quite exceptional. In Hakata, there are many popular shops with long lines late into the night, competing fiercely. Among them, the seafood tonkotsu ramen is rich yet refreshing, surprisingly not too overpowering. Delicious! It's a ramen that makes you want to eat it again.

I visited Umime to have Genova ramen for the first time in a while! The Genova ramen costs 850 yen and has a unique taste and aroma that cannot be found in other stores. It's strange how every time I go, I end up wanting to eat it again. They have Tabasco for flavor variation, but personally, adding Tabasco diminishes the Genova flavor, so I don't recommend it. The person I went with had the seafood tonkotsu ramen, which also has a strong seafood flavor. Since they have a branch at the airport, I definitely want to go back again.

At the end of the drinking session. For a unique twist, I chose the Tonkotsu ramen with seafood and pork bone broth, but I stuck with the Genova. It's actually Genovese, not Genova. When I first tried it, I was like, "What's this?!" But now I'm addicted to Genova. The creamy soup is so good, I wanted to drink it all up. Thank you for the meal!

I was searching for ramen in Hakata and came across a shop I wanted to try. I found it while walking along the Hakata River, but I was unsure if I could finish a bowl since I was already full. However, I decided to go in because I really wanted to try it. It was a weekday night and I was the only person in the shop. The shop operates by purchasing tickets from a machine outside and then entering. I bought a ticket and was asked about the firmness of the noodles. I chose normal. I ordered the "Ramen Genova" for ¥890 and the "Fish and Pork Bone Ramen" for ¥820. I had to wait a bit. The bowls arrived. I tried the Genova first, and it was delicious. I could understand why it was popular. Oh, it's so good! It was incredibly delicious, and I could still eat even though I was full. I'm glad I came in. The Fish and Pork Bone Ramen had a strong bonito broth flavor and was delicious with no pork bone smell. It was a delicious ramen to finish off with. Thank you for the meal!

On this day, I had a high school reunion with my classmates and we went bar hopping in Tenjin, Hakata Station, and Nakasu, drinking a lot. We had motsunabe in Tenjin, yakitori in Hakata Station, and ramen in Nakasu. Even though we were already full, we decided to finish with ramen and went to "Kaiming." It's always delicious whenever we go there. The soup and noodles were perfect as usual! Thank you for the meal.

I purchased a meal ticket from the vending machine, entered the restaurant, and ordered Kata-men. It was served promptly. The gentle tonkotsu broth was refreshing and easy on the stomach, and the thin noodles from Hakata were light and pleasant. The chashu had a good amount of fat, but it was delicious without being too heavy!

I came to Fukuoka, but arrived late at night so I only went to eat ramen. The shop had high ratings on both Tabelog and Google, so I had high expectations. I chose a unique option listed as the third item on the menu, but I'm not sure if that was a good choice because honestly, it was just okay. The gyoza skin was torn and not tasty, and the shop owner featured in the articles displayed in the shop was not there. If the shop owner had been there, or if I had chosen a different ramen, the rating might have been different. I have written down my honest thoughts. Disappointing.

It was a popular restaurant, but I was able to enter without waiting since it was before 2 o'clock. I had been here once about 6 years ago, and the interior had become more stylish. Maybe because I had eaten grilled ramen before, I felt the taste was a bit light. It's a shame that the Nagoya branch has closed, but I would like to come again if I have the chance.

I was guided to a place in Hakata for a late night meal. Despite being quite drunk, I remember that it was delicious haha. It had pork bone in it, so it didn't have as much basil flavor as Genovese pasta, but I could definitely taste the basil. I was so drunk that I even ordered extra noodles and ended up almost finishing the soup haha. I would love to come back again!

Last month, I went on a solo gourmet trip to Kyushu. While I was in Kyushu, the manager of a restaurant in Tenjin recommended me to try out a place called "Kainari". Even though it was already 11:30 PM, there was a line of about 10 people. The person in front of me and I were both dining alone, while the others were groups of friends or couples. The restaurant had 4 counter seats and some table seats. The turnover was relatively fast, and we were able to get in within 20 minutes of waiting. While waiting in line, a ticket machine appeared, so I bought my ticket in advance. Someone behind me, who seemed to be on a trip as well, asked me, "What is Genova like?" I replied, "It's my first time here too, but it was recommended to me at an izakaya in Tenjin." I was seated at the end of the counter, which was perfect for taking photos. The soup was a yellowish-green color, as rumored, and it came with Tabasco sauce. The flavor was not as strong as I expected, and it had a light and easy-to-eat taste. It was delicious, especially when I added some Tabasco sauce. Thank you for the meal.

Here in the early morning. Early morning ramen. Ramen Uminaru. Delicious ramen that you can eat easily even in the morning. I want to go eat it sober next time. There is also a nearby eel restaurant in Yoshizuka, so it might be recommended to hop around and eat.

I think there is nothing that divides preferences as much as ramen. I was looking forward to seeing which category this place falls into, so I went to the Nakasu branch. The interior is small, but it has a slightly street stall-like atmosphere. The tonkotsu ramen has evolved. From rich and hearty tonkotsu to seafood tonkotsu and light varieties that you can eat from the morning. Ramen Genova is a light variety. It can also be a good way to finish off a night of drinking. The finely chopped white leeks, which are rare in Fukuoka, were crunchy and delicious. Was my throat feeling weird? Or was my nose acting up? Or was I just feeling unwell? I couldn't quite grasp what Genova was trying to convey. Apparently, they also have mazesoba, tsukemen, and a wide variety of other menu items at other branches. I would like to try a different type of ramen next time.

The name of the store is "Unari." I heard that the Ramen Genova is delicious so I visited. It is located a little off the main street of Nakasu, but I think it's nice to be by the river and have a calm atmosphere. I ordered the Ramen Genova for 890 yen. As of June 1, 2023, the price listed on Tabelog is incorrect. It's a ramen with a pasta-like flavor. It has a strong Genova flavor with a hint of tonkotsu taste. I think there has been an increase in trendy ramen shops offering unique dishes lately.

It's a light tonkotsu broth with a slight thickness. The seafood flavor adds to the deliciousness. There is no pork smell, so it's recommended even for those from outside the prefecture. The noodles are slightly curly, low hydration thin noodles. The chashu is thin but not cheap. I also tried a bite of the Ramen Genova, which was delicious! Next time, I'll definitely try the Genova!

Today I had a business trip to Hakata. After having a few drinks at an izakaya in Gofukumachi, I followed the recommendation of the izakaya staff and went to Ramen Kaimei. When it comes to Kaimei, it's all about the Ramen Genova. The Genovese-style ramen is really delicious. The firmness of the noodles was just to my liking. Adding garlic made it even more appetizing!
