I visited the restaurant at 5:00 PM on a weekday. There weren't many customers at first, but soon more people started coming in. It's definitely a popular spot. For appetizers, we had chilled corn soup, simmered beef tongue, spicy cod roe, and vinegar tripe. The beef tongue was incredibly tender, you could eat it without teeth. I ordered the miso-flavored tripe hot pot. Tripe hot pot usually has a junk food image, but this one had a more refined taste compared to other places. It contained tripe, leeks, cabbage, tofu, burdock, and konjac. I don't see burdock and konjac in tripe hot pots often, but they were a good match. We finished with champon noodles and ponkan sherbet. It was a delicious meal.

I visited this restaurant for a celebratory or commiserative gathering after the Ogori horse racing event. I have been to the main store and the Akasaka store before, but this was my first time here. The luxurious interior did not give off the impression of a typical motsunabe (offal hot pot) restaurant, similar to the Akasaka store. The motsunabe here was incredibly delicious as well. However, I couldn't help but notice that the heater's heat level was not high enough to make the pot boil vigorously. While it made the dish easier to eat, I felt like something was lacking. Nevertheless, the taste was excellent. The restaurant is conveniently located near Hakata Station, making it convenient for us who use the Shinkansen. I will definitely visit again.

I love the motsunabe at Yamachuu the most. This was my first time using this store, but every store has a very cute interior. From the restroom to the cash register, the antique atmosphere is overflowing in the store, and you can feel the attention to detail even in the small items. There are some places that are good with the greasy and muddy atmosphere, but this store is clean like a restaurant, so you can use it comfortably. As for motsunabe, the taste is unquestionably satisfying. The miso is overwhelmingly delicious, so I recommend the miso flavor. It's close to the station, so I would like to use this store again.

I completely forgot when making a reservation at Yamanaka, a historic motsunabe restaurant, that the interior looks like a fancy high-end club. I remembered coming here before. Last time I had the soy sauce flavor, so this time I tried the recommended miso motsunabe. The motsu was tender, firm, and had no odor, and the burdock was sliced extremely thin. The crispy texture of the burdock paired perfectly with the motsu. The standout dishes were the "boiled tongue and radish stew" and the "beef vinegar motsu." The "karashi mentaiko" with a hint of yuzu fragrance was a home run. It was big and the texture of the grains was amazing. It's been a while since I had motsunabe at Yamachu. The motsunabe was consistently delicious with no unpleasant smell. Personally, I always look forward to the spicy mentaiko and simmered beef cheeks. The mentaiko has a strong texture with a refreshing citrus scent. It's not extremely spicy, but it has a nice kick to it, and I always think this mentaiko here is the best. The beef cheeks are tender with a sweet seasoning, perfect for pairing with sake. The restaurant is clean and nice as well! I will definitely come back again!

A recommended motsunabe restaurant by a friend from Kyushu. There are 3 branches in Fukuoka, and this one is located in Nakasu. The chewy texture and freshness of the motsu are definitely different from Tokyo. I think the amount of motsu is also more than in Tokyo. However, I still had room for seconds. Motsunabe comes in miso, soy sauce, and shabu-shabu styles, and the recommended one is miso, so I ordered the miso flavor this time. The pot with the cooked motsu and the additional vegetables are brought to your table together. The additional vegetables are also served in large portions, with a huge amount of burdock being particularly impressive. The broth from the motsu and vegetables creates a rich soup, so even just drinking the soup is delicious, and it goes well with champon noodles for finishing. The interior of this branch is a unique feature. When you think of a motsunabe restaurant, you imagine a traditional Japanese-style interior with tatami mats, but this place has a very oriental and luxurious interior with table seating. Due to its location, the interior resembles a clean and elegant cabaret or lounge. The spacious interior and well-spaced seating make it a luxurious setting. It's a great place to enjoy delicious motsunabe in a stylish setting, making it ideal for a date. It's also recommended for enjoying a lively meal with family or friends. The motsunabe restaurant had an unexpected interior, but it had a calm atmosphere. We reserved a table and decided on a course meal on the spot. The small dishes and mentaiko were delicious and gave a sense of value, fitting for Fukuoka. The motsunabe itself was really tasty. It was my first time, so I chose the recommended miso flavor, but next time I want to try the soy sauce or shabu-shabu style. The extra vegetables and extra motsu were included, and the portion was satisfying.

First of all, I was amazed by the interior - it's really spacious and luxurious, kind of like a host club or cabaret club (I've never been to either). There were a lot of staff members, and they were all very polite. They even offered to hold onto my large bag for me! There were quite a few foreigners and businessmen being entertained. I ordered the miso-flavored motsunabe (tripe hot pot) with white rice. The tripe was chewy and delicious, and they even gave me extra vegetables. Just be careful not to make the fire too strong, or the tripe will shrink. The prices were reasonable, and it's a great place to take adults from out of town. I'd love to try one of their fancier courses, but just the motsunabe alone filled me up!

I came to Fukuoka to try the authentic motsunabe (tripe hot pot). It was absolutely delicious and unlike anything I've ever had before. You can choose from miso, soy sauce, or champon broth, and the waitress recommended miso, so I went with that without hesitation. The vegetables included cabbage, garlic chives, konjac, and burdock root, which were quite standard. The main ingredient, the tripe, was not greasy at all, but rather light and had a good chewy texture. Thanks to this, the broth remained flavorful until the very end without becoming oily. The course meal also included mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and extra tripe, making it a great deal. I enjoyed it so much that I might not be able to go back to cheaper motsunabe in other prefectures (laughs).

I was recommended the miso hot pot, so four of us ordered 2 servings and added some motsu (offal), and finished with zosui (rice porridge). We also ordered mentaiko (spicy cod roe) as a side dish, and it was delicious. It was my first time trying motsu hot pot in Fukuoka, and it was really tasty. The miso flavor was new to me, but it was really good! The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, with quiet music playing in the background. It's definitely a place worth visiting for motsu hot pot.

I visited this restaurant in Hakata with someone who had taken care of me. It is located about 5-6 minutes from Hakata Station, in a prime location, and the interior has a luxurious feel. There are plenty of staff members, almost too many. This looks promising. By the time it was past 7 pm, the spacious restaurant was fully packed. I checked the menu right away and the miso-flavored motsunabe (offal hot pot) seemed to be recommended. The prices were not too high, which was a relief. I ordered beer, miso motsunabe, and kimchi. The motsunabe is served after being simmered. The offal had no unpleasant odor, and the soup had an elegant taste, very delicious. The kimchi also served as a nice side dish. I added another serving of motsunabe halfway through and finished with champon. It was so delicious! Considering the atmosphere, taste, and price of around 11,000 yen for two people, this place offers good value. It seems to be difficult to make reservations, but if you want to treat someone in Hakata, this is a restaurant you definitely want to visit. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant for dinner a little before 7 pm on Monday. I was able to walk in without a reservation. The stylish, European-themed interior is dominated by white, and they serve motsunabe (offal hot pot). Course Menu (4680 yen including tax): - Assorted appetizers (beef motsu in vinegar, senmai [offal], karashi mentaiko [spicy cod roe], today's small dish) - Beef motsu, a tender delicacy from only a small portion of a cow - Senmai, a blend of black and white offal with a delightful texture - Karashi mentaiko, an original dish from the restaurant with a mellow yuzu flavor - Today's small dish, featuring a soft daikon radish in a delicious broth - Motsunabe (with additional vegetables), I chose the miso flavor, which was a perfect match with the tender and melty motsu, crunchy cabbage, fragrant garlic chives, and finely shredded burdock. Additional motsu and vegetables are included. - Finish with your choice of champon (noodle soup), udon, or zosui (rice porridge). I chose zosui, a delicious rice porridge made with vegetables and motsu broth, with the added bonus of having it prepared by the staff. - Dessert, choose between almond jelly, matcha ice cream, or amaou strawberry ice cream. During my first overnight trip to Kyushu, I visited Yamanaka for motsunabe in the evening! I had high expectations since it's not available in Tokyo, and the soup's unique flavor did not disappoint. The beef stew was incredibly tender and delicious, unlike anything I've ever tasted before! The restaurant was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I chose the miso flavor this time, but I'm curious about the soy sauce flavor as well. The miso was so delicious that I might end up going back for more (laughs).

This is a restaurant that I always visit when I come to Hakata for the fourth time. The interior of this restaurant is more Western-style, with white as the main color, making it a clean and stylish place, perfect for birthdays or business entertainment. The staff are clean, polite, and provide excellent customer service. This is my favorite motsunabe restaurant in my entire life! The sweet and flavorful soup made with white miso, paired with the chewy motsu, is incredibly delicious that it makes me feel like I'm about to collapse from joy. I always get seconds of motsu, add champon, and finish with zosui at the end! Even though champon is the final dish, that doesn't matter! It can get very crowded, so reservations are a must! If you ever come to Hakata, be sure to visit this restaurant!

When it comes to motsunabe in Hakata, Yamachuu is the place to go! This restaurant offers the best motsunabe experience. While motsunabe is often associated with traditional Japanese cuisine, the interior of the restaurant is surprisingly stylish with a white-based decor reminiscent of Italy's Rome. There are semi-private seating areas created by partitions, making it perfect for a date night. The appetizer of simmered daikon radish and chicken is delicious and whets the appetite. The motsunabe we tried was a white miso-based broth, with incredibly tender and juicy motsu (offal) and a sweet and flavorful broth. What surprised me was that instead of bean sprouts, they used julienned burdock root in the motsunabe, which turned out to be a perfect match. The hot pot was served fully cooked and quickly, and we could start eating right away. For the finale, we chose champon noodles, which were delicious and we finished them quickly. The zosui (rice porridge) was also made to order in the kitchen and had a nice texture with each grain of rice distinct. When in Hakata, be sure to visit Yamachuu!

I dined alone, so I ordered the course menu. The individual hot pot is for two people or more. The tripe was soft and packed with flavor, and there was plenty of it, so I was able to eat to my heart's content. However, towards the end, I was quite full and ended up leaving a little bit behind...

In the second paragraph of the reunion, we decided we wanted to eat motsunabe and headed to Yamanaka-san's place. When imagining Yamanaka-san's restaurant in Akasaka, the stylish atmosphere inside is quite different from what you would expect for motsunabe, almost making you feel like you walked into an Italian restaurant or something. We chose two flavors, miso and soy sauce. The soy sauce flavor was light. The miso flavor started off light too, but as time passed, it became a bit heavy. The motsu had no unpleasant smell and was very delicious. We also enjoyed the champon noodles as the final dish.

I was told by a local that you need to make a reservation to enjoy motsunabe. So, I hurried to make a reservation. I only had a little time, so I could only stay for about an hour. I decided to order a la carte instead of a course. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they suggested the miso flavor. I was originally thinking of ordering soy sauce flavor, but I went with miso.

I usually visit "Motsukou" when I come to Hakata, but unfortunately it was closed. I prefer light and refreshing motsunabe, so the one with heavy garlic and lots of fat honestly didn't suit my taste. (Recommended for those who like rich and garlicky flavors)

First and last?! A trip with my son♪ Originally planning to travel alone, but he said he'll come if it's Hakata. Since motsunabe is served for two people, I made a reservation right away. I was so excited that we walked quickly to the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant was so chic! It seemed like a place for young people. And the seat we were shown was a sofa seat that looked like a couple's seat! My son, who is over twenty, seemed embarrassed. "I thought it would be more like an izakaya," he said. That's right! Just the two of us in such a stylish restaurant... I wondered how we must look to others. Suddenly, I felt embarrassed. We sat down and were told, "It will take some time for the motsunabe to arrive, so please enjoy a side dish in the meantime!" So, we ordered my son's favorite kakuteki and the famous vinegar motsu. We also ordered the recommended miso motsunabe for two, beer, and Kyoho grape sour. Drinks and the side dish were brought to us quickly. My son said the vinegar motsu was similar to gatsu. The vinegar was elegant and the motsu was tender and easy to eat. The kakuteki was crispy and slightly dried. Delicious! We toasted and had a few bites of the side dish when the motsunabe arrived! Huh? Hm? I ordered two because they said it would take time, didn't I? Oh well! We waited a bit for the motsunabe to simmer. After a while, it was simmering. I took a bite and... Wow, so delicious☆☆☆☆☆ Too delicious! The broth, the chewy motsu, everything was too delicious~♪ Is all motsunabe this delicious? Or just here? The soaked burdock, cabbage, konjac, garlic chives, everything was delicious. Perhaps when the broth seeps into every ingredient, they all become the best?
