■Overall Impression
I made a reservation here after a year, and this is one of the more casual and accessible restaurants in Nishi Nakasu. However, when I tried to make a reservation on TableCheck, I found that even on a weekday, the earliest available time was 8:30 pm, which shows how incredibly popular this place is. I visited alone, and I couldn't help but notice an elderly person who seemed to be from Tokyo casually striking up a conversation with a woman who also seemed to be from Tokyo. I thought to myself, "I could never do that."
■Beer
I started with a beer, and it was delicious right from the first sip.
■Tofu Greeting
This tofu dish served as a greeting was the third most delicious dish based on the score information I was jotting down. It was unexpectedly incredibly tasty.
■Thick Fried Tofu
This is a must-order dish here. Even the thick fried tofu from Sanemoto Tofu Shop, which you can buy at Lalaport, doesn't compare to this. It may be small in size, but it is incredibly delicious. It tastes like cheese. When ordering as a group, make sure each person gets one. This was the most delicious dish.
■Chilled Tofu
This was a tofu lover's dream. There are many other dishes available, but I wanted to stick with tofu. This dish was also delicious, with a strong soybean flavor, but it ranked fifth in my personal ranking.
■Crab Cream Croquette
This dish received the same score as the chilled tofu. I could already tell from the thick fried tofu that they know how to fry things well. By the way, this was a menu item I didn't order last time.
■Korean Style Tofu
This was another menu item I didn't order last time, and it ranked the lowest in my personal ranking. Still, it scored 3.9, showing the high level of all the dishes. I would definitely want to eat this with a bowl of rice.
■Yuba Sashimi
This is a must-order dish. I thought you could only eat delicious yuba in Kyoto, but I also enjoyed it at the all-you-can-eat pork shabu-shabu in Aeon Mall, where you could make yuba in a broth with soy milk. The yuba here was incredibly delicious as well, ranking second.
■Soy Milk Udon
This is what women usually order as the final dish here, similar to tofu chocolate. However, I find this to be overwhelmingly delicious compared to the tofu chocolate. It ranked fourth, but it still scored over 4 points. I had it with toffee, but assuming it's the same as chocolate, it scored 3.6. So let's have some udon. If there's a udon map feature, I would recommend this place or Katara Fukumamman's udon (which should have been featured in Season 1).
Thank you for the meal.
