The cheese gratin is a must-order dish, with onions, asparagus, lotus root, pumpkin, and plenty of seafood inside. The sea bream was delicious, with fluffy white meat on top of mashed potatoes that are soaked in broth and smashed on a hot plate. The bamboo shoot, 150g beef fillet, and local chicken dishes were also excellent. Thank you for the meal.

The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the atmosphere is nice and the location is convenient, so it's okay. They have a wide variety of drinks, including original gin, which made it hard to choose. I wanted to have sobameshi as the finishing dish, but due to strong insistence from my companion, we ended up getting the peperoncino soba instead. However, this was the right choice! I felt that the food was also a bit expensive for what you get. I had scallops, tonpei-yaki, hormone (offal), and cucumber pickles. I had plans for a second stop so I stopped here for now... Watching the ingredients being cooked right in front of you at the counter is one of the highlights of teppanyaki. This time, due to a large group, we sat at a table. While many teppanyaki restaurants only have counter seats with a teppan grill, this restaurant allows you to enjoy hot grilled dishes on tabletop teppan grills. Here are some recommended menu items: Tonpei-yaki (¥1,030) - A must-order menu item that is quite large. The combination of mayonnaise and sauce may seem devilish, but it's addictive. Special Pork Kimchi (¥860) - Another must-order item, a reliable pork kimchi dish with a perfect balance of slightly chewy pork and sweet kimchi. The green onions on top add a refreshing flavor. Miwa Original Dynamite Cheese Yaki (¥1,280) - A recent favorite of mine. It's a seafood gratin with a crispy outer layer and overflowing baked cheese that is irresistible. I went for dinner and drinks during a business trip to Hakata. It was my first time posting, although I have been there a few times before! They have a wide variety of teppanyaki menu items at this restaurant. The master here is very friendly and it's a fun place to be. We ordered the special pork kimchi, sautéed spinach and bacon with a fried egg, Three-Wheel original dynamite cheese bake, tonpei-yaki, seafood roll-yaki, and Three-Wheel special. It's seriously delicious, as you can see from the photos! There are still many more items on the menu, so I want to try more next time! By the way, we ordered a second helping of the pork kimchi, haha.

I went to Yakiyaki Miwa in Gion without a reservation, but luckily managed to get a seat. The other seats were all full. I was seated at the counter where I could see the teppanyaki grill in front of me. There were already delicious dishes being cooked on the grill, making it hard to choose what to order. Among the dishes I ordered, my favorites were the cheesy seafood bake with a thick layer of cheese on top and the juicy A5 rank beef steak. The bread under the steak can be finished with honey or olive oil, and I chose honey. It was like a French toast and very delicious. Tonight, we had a birthday dinner and made a reservation. Since it's during a state of emergency, we started early. It seems like everyone had the same idea, as there are already many other customers. We started with a toast with draft beer, followed by cream cheese tofu, assorted grilled vegetables, Corocoro-yaki (with extra meat), and Sanrin Special (okonomiyaki). The dishes were served at our pace, showing great consideration. We enjoyed our meal comfortably. We further enjoyed the evening with Yamazaki Highball, making it a satisfying birthday dinner. Today was my last visit to Miwa-san. My partner still has work, but I am off for the year-end and New Year holidays starting today. It feels great to be free, enjoying a meal at Miwa-san. First, we ordered a platter of grilled vegetables. The beer here is delicious. I had 200g of meat rolled up and grilled. My partner went for the sauce-based option as usual, with the modern style of Miwa grill. We also enjoyed some Yamazaki highballs after our beer. Ah, I am completely satisfied. Tonight's dinner was at Yakiyaki Miwa. It's a revenge (??) from the other day, haha. I've decided to eat meat tonight. First, a tomato and arugula salad. The tomato is so sweet. For seafood, I had clams. They were delicious with garlic and chili peppers adding a spicy kick! Now, onto the meat. I had 100g of Miyazaki beef fillet. It was undeniably delicious. I'm happy. My partner had the Miwa Special sauce. It had potatoes from the oden, and they were excited about it, haha. To finish the night, I chose sobameshi. It had beef tendons and kimchi, and my appetite didn't drop until the end. No matter what you eat here, it's always delicious!! Thank you for the feast :)

Mitsurin was really looking forward to today. He was planning to eat a lot! However, before coming here, he had about 3 beers during the pre-party. He enjoyed his favorite cream cheese tofu (with bread) with beer, and then had a seafood dish of octopus and scallops with a bottle of sparkling wine. By the time his memory started to fade, his partner was quite drunk and wanted to go home, so they left without trying the signature Mitsurin special dish. They didn't even get to eat the meat they had planned to. Mitsurin promises to come back soon for a rematch!
