The Royal Milk Tea Chocolate costs 972 yen and is highly recommended. I chose Maribel's chocolate drink, known for its well-balanced sweetness. This time, I selected a product that combines milk tea and chocolate. It was served in about 6 minutes. Besides the sweetness of the chocolate, it had a refreshing taste without much sugar. The gelato is also said to be delicious, so I would like to try it if I have the chance.

I visited CACAO MARKET by MARIEBELLE KYOTO for some chocolate take away. The store is surrounded by delicate artisan chocolates made by "MarieBelle NY." The interior is like a different world that combines antique and modern elegance. There seems to be a café on the second floor separate from the entrance of the shop. You can purchase colorful chocolates individually by weight, or opt for cute cans with mixed varieties. While leaving the shop, there was a sudden downpour, so I took shelter there. I decided to wait it out by enjoying gelato until the rain stopped. The Single Malte gelato is made with Macallan single malt whiskey from Scotland, paired with dark chocolate, making it a flavorful and sophisticated treat. Opened on September 2, 2013. They import cacao from Honduras to New York, roast and blend it with a secret recipe, and handcraft each chocolate meticulously. A chocolate specialty shop born in NY. It was quite expensive, over 7000 yen, so I plan to enjoy them slowly. When I tried a little at home, I could taste the bitterness of cocoa and the sweetness of chocolate, which paired well with black coffee. The interior was dimly lit with a mysterious atmosphere, giving a sense of a secret space. Sat at the designated seat. The Fondant au Chocolat was rich but not overly sweet, with a refreshing berry sauce inside. The chocolate felt a bit too intense, and the gelato seemed sweeter. Opted for a hot chocolate drink to fully enjoy the chocolate! It was a lovely space where you could feel the leisurely flow of time. Thank you for the meal.

I finally visited the secret underground cafe I've always wanted to go to! Since it's a chocolate specialty shop, the first floor is lined with various chocolates. The staff were very friendly. For cafe use, it seems you need to order on the first floor, receive a password, and head to the basement. The space reminded me of a certain famous "wizard movie." The menu is extensive, so chocolate lovers may have a hard time deciding. There aren't many seats, so you might have to wait during peak cafe hours. I went right after it opened, so the wait was only a few minutes. It's located very close to Hankyu Kawaramachi Station or Keihan Gion-Shijo Station, making it easily accessible.

At the Grand Food Hall in Ashiya, there were products from Kakao Market. Lemon Cake: It's a refreshing cake with plenty of lemon peel that you can eat quickly. It might also be popular with men. Brick Soft Cookie-like texture. The size is satisfying, but you might get tired of it a bit. It might be good to share and eat.

This was my first visit. After finishing the annual prayer at Yasaka Shrine, I searched and chose this restaurant to bring a souvenir for the employees. When I entered, I noticed that I was the only male customer... haha Everything looks so colorful and delicious! I thought they would be happy to receive these as souvenirs! Heading down to the secret angel's library underground. Exciting and fun to receive the passcode, enter it, and descend the stairs. It's a bit challenging to have to order sweets and drinks when already a bit full. The pricing is somewhat on the higher side. The desserts and drinks were delicious. The tiramisu was a bit on the sweeter side. The chocolate chiffon wasn't very soft, but the chocolate flavor was very tasty. The chocolate drink might be a bit too sweet for some. There were a few solo diners. There's a river in front, I wonder if it floods? A lovely and stylish space, but the age of the building and lack of cleanliness were noticeable with visible dust. Still, a place worth visiting at least once if possible!

"Maribel," a popular chocolatier in Gion Shijo. Founded in New York in 2004, their first store in Japan is also located in Kyoto. I've tried chocolates and fondant chocolate before, but they didn't really impress me, so this time I bought a brownie. Yep, it's delicious. The sweetness and bitterness are well-balanced, rich, and has a weighty feel. The coating on the surface and the texture of the nuts are great accents. It was delicious.

When I went around 4 p.m. on a holiday, I was told there would be a one-hour wait, but you can check the queue status with a barcode and they also call you when your turn is near, so you can pass the time outside the restaurant. Most desserts are priced at 1,760 yen with a drink set, which is quite expensive, but considering the atmosphere and included price, I think it's worth a visit! The gelato was rich and delicious, not too sweet, regardless of the flavor.
