I just had to visit the sweets section of "Georges Marceau," which has been selected as one of Fukuoka's top 100 French restaurants. I lined up under the cold sky, determined to make it to the "Patisserie Georges Marceau." The small café space attached to the patisserie is quite popular, but I couldn't help but feel that a little more consideration for the people waiting in line would have been nice. After about 40 minutes of waiting in the snow, I finally made it inside. Upon being seated, I went to the showcase to order cakes. The popular café was bustling with people using the café and those getting takeout, and when I tried to order a cake, I was abruptly told, "Oh, please wait outside." I had just waited 40 minutes to finally get inside! I felt like crying. I ordered the following cakes: Triangle Pistachio for 500 yen and Cheese Cake Fondue for 480 yen. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, something you wouldn't expect in Tokyo or Osaka. The showcase displayed glamorous and delicious-looking cakes. There was also a wide selection of drinks. My partner had an espresso, and I had herbal tea. The interior of the café exuded a French chic vibe for adults. The bright red counter table stood out against the black brick wall, complemented by white plates. Soft lights projected onto the walls, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The cutlery was neatly arranged, and the heavy silverware matched the ambiance perfectly. My pistachio cake with nutty mousse and sour cherry flavor was absolutely delicious. The triangular shape was cute and easy to eat. The specialty here is the Cheese Cake Fondue, made with cream cheese and parmesan cheese, resulting in a unique, creamy texture different from soufflé. I enjoyed the different textures by lifting the shortbread lid. It's the perfect patisserie to spend a leisurely time, but due to the cold weather and the visible line of people waiting outside, I hurriedly left. It seems that the morning hours are relatively quiet, so I look forward to a more elegant visit next time. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't try the popular parfait, but I had the milk crepe. The seating area has about 10 seats, and they only allow up to 4 groups at a time. The seats have cute cake-shaped music boxes, which I found adorable. I think it gets pretty crowded around 3 pm. I also bought some baked goods and cream puffs as souvenirs, and they were really delicious. They also had whole cakes available, so I plan to buy from here next time.

This is a review of "Patisserie Georges Marceau" in Haruyoshi that I visited the other day ☺️ It was not crowded at all that day, maybe because the weather was bad, so I was able to get in quickly, lucky✌️ I ordered ⚫︎ Creyaa (Peach Parfait) for 1900 yen. This parfait uses a whole peach and is filled with other luxurious ingredients such as framboise, yogurt, coconut, peach sorbet, and peach compote. It looks good and tastes delicious too~ I want to go eat it again this year, but I also want to try other places, so little time~ Not enough room in my stomach lol. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The Crème Brûlée was mainly made of cream and strawberries, so I was worried if I would be able to finish it until the end. However, my worries were unnecessary as the balance of cream, strawberries, acidity, sweetness, and caramelization was perfect, and the strawberries and sauce on the plate complemented each other well, making it delicious until the last bite. If tomatoes with a high sugar content were used instead of strawberries, it might have been even more enjoyable.

I sometimes noticed this bakery while passing by, as they often have a variety of desserts made with seasonal fruits displayed in their sparkling showcase. The cheesecake is a popular item on their menu, with a rich flavor that pairs well with the cookie crust. The seasonal cake I tried was the American cherry tart, which had a subtle sweet and sour taste that complemented the pastry perfectly.

I tried the Cheese Cake Fondue from Patisserie Georges Marceau for takeout. It is a unique cheesecake made with cream cheese and Parmesan cheese, baked to have a smooth, melty texture unlike soufflés.

I went to Patisserie Georges Marceau in Watanabe Dori 5-chome in Fukuoka City on Sunday around 10:15. The shop looked very beautiful and appetizing from the outside. I chose the following items after looking through the glass case:
- Agrume (540 yen tax included)
- Mousse Mirtille (made with blueberries from Kumamoto, 450 yen tax included)
The Agrume had orange-colored grapefruit and jelly inside, with pistachio mousse at the bottom. It was delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness. The Mousse Mirtille, with blueberry sauce, was also surprisingly delicious and went well with coffee. I would definitely like to try their signature cheesecake fondue next time.
Patisserie Georges Marceau has a bright and beautiful interior, and offers high-quality and delicious cakes. I highly recommend it!

They wrote about using pistachios, but I couldn't taste any of that flavor... There wasn't much raspberry scent either... I don't think this place is worth going out of the way for, it's not that special. Maybe I should have tried something exclusive to the store? Well, I guess you shouldn't expect anything special from a regular restaurant. But then, I think it's better to just go to a local cake or pastry shop (laughs). I feel like this review is just bringing down the reputation of the main French restaurant, Georges Marceau...

I found the dessert to be bigger than expected, with a slightly unusual texture and a strong chocolate flavor. It was a bit larger than I would have liked, so I think making it a bit smaller or adding a layer of chocolate with a tangy or bitter taste in between could stimulate the appetite.

Watanabe Street Station is a 10-minute walk away. In a quiet upscale residential area, an elegant patisserie suddenly appears. With its beautiful and modern exterior featuring a cute red cake logo, it was easy to spot right away! As I tried to enter the shop, I noticed six men in suits (seemed like they were on a business trip) buying in bulk or leaving with shopping bags. I thought it was a hidden gem, but maybe it's just a popular souvenir spot... Anyway, I decided to go inside. It's a patisserie run by a French restaurant, so my expectations were high! Inside, two ladies and three businessmen were ordering cakes. Since I was dining in, the cashier guided me to a counter seat. There were counter seats and table seats available. I was planning to order at my seat, but I wanted to check out the showcase first since I was eyeing the petits gâteaux. It was past 3 PM, so the cake selection was a bit limited for afternoon tea, but each cake had a beautiful shape! Cake showcases at patisseries are truly dreamy, aren't they? Among them, I chose a slightly subdued-looking signature item. This time, I had the "Cheesecake Fondue au Fan" and a "Café Latte"! The cheesecake had a soufflé-like texture, or rather, it was incredibly smooth, made with cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. The aroma was indeed strong with Parmesan. The crispy cookie crust around it was light. It was a meticulously crafted cheesecake! I don't want to tell anyone, but I secretly want to boast about this place. Thank you for the feast!

I went to a cafe to enjoy a strawberry parfait for 1,800 yen. I have tried their take-out cakes and Children's Day decorated cakes before, and this patisserie always has a long line because of their delicious treats. Luckily, the cafe was not crowded this time. We sat at the counter and ordered two cups of hot coffee and two Elizabeth strawberry parfaits. The hot coffee was freshly brewed right in front of us, and it was delicious! Many cafes have machine-made coffee, but the hand-dripped coffee here was the best. I couldn't resist having a second cup. The parfait was a great deal compared to other famous ones that cost 5,000 to 6,000 yen each. It was so satisfying with various layers of flavors and plenty of vitamins. I will definitely recommend it! Next time, I will try their famous Dolce shaved ice. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited Patisserie Georges Marceau in Tenjin around 4:30 pm on a weekday, but they were almost sold out and only had about 5 varieties available. I was hoping to try the cheesecake that I had before, but it was sold out. It was disappointing, but the milk crepe I had was really delicious!

I visited this place after being recommended their cheesecake. The tart crust with fluffy cheesecake filling was indeed delicious. I also tried the Shibusto recommended by the staff, which was also tasty. The Cheesecake Enfant and Shibusto Orange were both great.

This was my second visit, and this restaurant offers great value for money. It's hard to find this quality in Tokyo. I ordered not only the cheesecake and cream puffs that I had last time, but also a pistachio cake, mille-feuille, and a mandarin orange chiboust. Please note that they have irregular holidays, so it's important to check in advance before visiting.

Located a 5-7 minute walk from Watanabe-dori Station is the popular sweets shop Patisserie Georges Marceau. This shop is run by the famous French restaurant Georges Marceau in Fukuoka and has received high praise. With 11 seats available, the shop has a nice atmosphere and stylish interior, making it a great place to enjoy sweets in-house. The dessert we tried this time was the Shubost Orange. This beautiful dessert is arranged with cream, orange, and more in a round dish. Topped with Shubost, the contrast between the rich sweetness and caramelized bitterness is irresistible. Inside, there is a pistachio cream that adds a unique aroma and balances well with the acidity of the orange. With a lineup of beautiful sweets that make you want to try them all, be sure to visit this shop. Thank you for the meal!

I heard that a new parfait was introduced, so I visited the restaurant for dine-in. Usually, I finish my parfait in about 5 minutes, but this time I took my time and enjoyed it for about 30 minutes. The taste was truly fitting for the upcoming vibrant cherry blossom season, with a touch of bittersweet spring feeling. Although it was titled "Spring Stroll," I personally felt it was more like a "Naotaro Parfait" (named by myself without permission). It was a long time since I had such a delicious parfait and spent a leisurely and happy time. Thank you very much.

I brought it as a gift. I love cheesecake fondue personally, so I was glad it was being sold this time. It was sold out last time... The surrounding cookie dough and the fluffy, rich cheesecake inside are indescribably delicious. It's a cheesecake that anyone will surely love.

Arrived on Friday at 12 o'clock. The interior of the store is like a cake shop combined with a cafe, where you can choose a cake from the showcase and enjoy it with coffee. They all look delicious and I couldn't decide which one to choose, haha (photos 4-6). The cafe space has a counter with 12 seats and was almost full. I ordered the Elizabeth for 1800 yen (rich aroma of seasonal strawberries enjoyed with pistachios), Premium Grand Chocolat for 520 yen, and coffee for 460 yen. They were all of very high quality and delicious. I also think the gestures of the staff were wonderful. It's a great space to relax in a calm atmosphere. The coffee had a subtle acidity and was easy to drink, perfect to pair with the cake. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.

Visited in the afternoon on a holiday. Waited in line for the eat-in seating. The seating is limited, so the turnover rate is not very high. Waited for about an hour to enter, being the 7th in line. Had a strawberry parfait in the store, and got a chestnut milk crepe and cheesecake fondue to go. The macaron on top of the parfait was delicious. It's a parfait that strawberry lovers will adore. The cakes I took out were also delicious. The cheesecake was gooey inside, truly like fondue.

I love sweet treats and often go out to eat them. I find myself wanting to visit this place regularly because they come up with new parfaits each season that are of incredibly high quality. The carefully calculated changes in flavors keep me entertained until the very last bite! I will definitely be visiting again!

Georges Marceau's seasonal parfaits change with the seasons. This time, I visited in February.
- Parfait Parfum (1800 yen)
The concept of this parfait is to enjoy the aroma of cocoa, and it was indeed a cocoa lover's dream. The presentation was artistic, with praline, florentine, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, and chocolate puff offering various textures to savor. The praline had hojicha cream inside, giving it a mature flavor, while the florentine was heart-shaped with a chocolate cookie exterior. With chocolate cake and puff at the bottom, it was a cocoa extravaganza from start to finish.
- Elizabeth (1800 yen)
This parfait features pistachio and strawberry as the main components. The strawberries were juicy, and the smoothness of pistachio ice cream and whipped cream created a delightful combination. With pie crust at the bottom, you could also enjoy a crispy texture.
This popular shop usually has a wait of about an hour for dine-in, but the beautiful parfaits you get to enjoy after the wait are truly special. If you're interested, you can try ordering cakes for takeout without waiting in line. Check out my Instagram account momono._.o for more Fukuoka gourmet recommendations with videos!
