(2014.10.10) I was already full from the previous "Danji" meal, but my companion insisted on going to another place. We decided to take a taxi as we had some heavy bags. The taxi initially took us to the wrong place, but after re-entering the address, we finally arrived at our destination. The driver kindly agreed to charge us only up to the point where we were guided by the phone number navigation, showing the kindness of the people in Hakata. The place we ended up at was known for its pizza baked in a stone oven. Despite being tucked away in a side street from Gionmachi intersection, it was bustling with mostly female customers. The aroma of delicious garlic oil wafted outside the restaurant, making it clear that this was a winner even before entering. Although the restaurant had around 30 seats, there were about 5 staff members present, all with bright and cute smiles. The cozy seating arrangement made it clear why there were many female customers. We started with a mixed appetizer plate and raised a toast for the second time today. The roasted duck was robust and paired well with wine. The surprise came when smoked mackerel was served, its aroma delightful. The highly praised pizza had a beautiful color and a chewy texture, clearly crafted with care and attention. Despite a slight disappointment with some remaining flour on the pizza, the overall taste was delightful. I opted for the Tagliatelle with Genovese sauce, which had a lovely texture and a hint of basil and garlic, making it a delicious choice. This restaurant, with its bar-like atmosphere, authentic dishes, and delightful service, has become a favorite of mine.

I went for lunch and dinner as well. During lunch, I received some baked goods and a coupon for a free pizza! I went back in the evening with the coupon and tried the "meat tartare" that I had been curious about. It was delicious and paired perfectly with wine. I was unsure if the free pizza would be a small one or a cheaper option, but it turned out to be almost any pizza on the menu! The Quattro Formaggi pizza was incredibly tasty. I was with my child, and I was worried about the noise, but the staff was very kind and accommodating. I received more baked goods and a coupon on my way out, so I will definitely be visiting again soon.

I entered a restaurant that caught my eye with its storefront, and it turned out to be an Italian restaurant. It seemed to be popular among the working locals during lunchtime, as it was crowded. I chose the C set for lunch, with a slightly larger portion of pasta. It was too much, so next time I will go for the A set with pasta 100g + dessert. The eggplant and mozzarella cheese in tomato sauce was... well, neither good nor bad. I would like to try a different flavor next time.

I went for lunch again and had a delicious hot pasta with thin noodles that were easy to eat. It had a tangy flavor with tomatoes, eggplant, and mozzarella. The salad as an appetizer, coffee after the meal, and a souvenir snack to take home were all very hospitable. I even won a pizza as a souvenir snack.笑

The daily pasta set (150 grams) for 1100 yen was delicious. I added extra 50 grams for 100 yen to the bacon and spinach pasta, which was also very tasty. The staff, especially the kind and thoughtful young man, made the experience even better.

This is my 5th or 6th time posting. I like thin pasta. This time, I ordered a 150g plate of Bolognese on a hot plate! I ate it while it was still hot, and it was delicious with a strong garlic flavor. I also had salad and coffee, and I feel satisfied. Let's do our best, afternoon too.

I don't usually go to Italian restaurants, but I was drawn in by the shrimp. The restaurant had caught my eye before, and I was also in the mood to immerse myself in the Christmas spirit... The dishes were recommended by the waitress, and the whole carrot, which she highly recommended, was indeed delicious! The lobster was a bit thin, but the taste was rich and delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing December mood! Thank you for the meal!

Girls' night dinner. I wanted to drink wine, and as expected, there were mostly female customers. They had a wide variety of wine bottles. I had sparkling for the first, white for the second, red for the third... and as I was enjoying my drinks, the dishes kept coming. The appetizers, pasta, and pizza were all a bit on the rich side in flavor, but delicious. Thank you for the feast!

I visited this restaurant for lunch after attending a food event a few times and had a good impression. They offer pasta and pizza courses, with a choice of 3 options each. This time, I ordered the pasta with homemade bacon and mushroom tomato sauce, as well as the pizza with dried baby sardines and mushrooms. The pasta was delicious with a refreshing tomato acidity and light taste. The pizza was crispy and went really well with Tabasco. In addition, we also ordered a cream pasta to share, and the staff were excellent in providing us with separate plates and forks for sharing. The service was fantastic, just as expected from the A-Un Group.

Today I went to Canal for lunch. I arrived close to 2 pm, so it was a late lunch time. The restaurant is located near the Hakata Machiya Furusato-kan. I entered the restaurant at 2 pm. The interior mainly consists of table seating. Since it was a bit late, there was only me and a group of two people who came in later. There were signed posters on the walls inside the restaurant. The lunch menu mainly consisted of daily pasta dishes. You could choose the amount of noodles, and there was an option for a larger size for an additional 100 yen. According to reviews, the pasta here is delicious. The restaurant's specialty seems to be the "authentic pizza" baked in a 500℃ stone oven, with only 4 servings available per day. I confirmed that there were still servings left, so I decided to order it. I got the pork ragout and mushroom pizza (1200 yen), which came with a salad, drink, and soup. I started with a sip of fresh grape juice. The salad was small. The soup was a clear consomme. The main pizza dish had a deliciously crispy crust from being baked in the authentic oven. I had iced coffee as my drink. The customers who came in later ordered pasta sets, which seemed to be popular here as well.

Near Kushida Shrine, there is an Italian restaurant. Although the annual Gion Yamakasa festival has been postponed this year, it is known as a summer tradition in Hakata, dedicated to Kushida Shrine. It was past 2 pm and I missed lunch due to a busy schedule. I was thinking of going to a nearby udon shop when I noticed this place... I was relieved to see that they serve lunch until 4 pm (last order at 3:30 pm). The interior gave me the impression of being quite traditional. They have implemented basic infection prevention measures. - Lunch Menu: The price is the same, but the side menu changes depending on the amount of pasta you choose, which is an interesting system. - I chose the "C set (1000 yen)" as I couldn't handle a large portion. This set includes three items, dessert, and a drink. It's a good deal. - I chose the "Homemade ham and spinach with black pepper flavor" pasta. I wasn't sure about the 100g portion, but it seemed to be a normal amount compared to other restaurants. It might be enough for women. The pasta was cooked al dente just right. The taste of the homemade ham was subtle, but the sauce had plenty of minced garlic and a good amount of chili pepper spiciness, making it delicious. It's a tasty oil pasta, but since it has a lot of garlic, it might be better to choose another dish if you have plans to meet people later. - They serve a small cup of "lemonade" at the beginning, which was delicious. - The salad mostly consisted of cabbage. - The bread was like a supermarket baguette but served warm. - The dessert was a "nutty pound cake" with a good texture that I enjoyed. - You can choose your drink, so I opted for an "iced coffee." It was a small portion, but it's nice that it's included at this price. The pasta was to my taste, and having dessert and a drink included for 1000 yen is a great deal.

I entered Nukunuku-san on the approach to Kushida Shrine! I ordered the pasta lunch set. The hot lemonade that came first was a nice touch. Next, there was bread and salad. I ordered the pasta with black pepper. The noodles were thin and cooked al dente just right. It was a simple dish seasoned with green onions, ham, and black pepper. Finally, coffee was served. I enjoyed it slowly. Thank you for the meal.

A few meters away from the onigirazu shop is this restaurant. I have been curious about it for a while, and I finally had the chance to visit as they offer takeout (*^^)v There was one couple as the only customers. The menu is placed outside, allowing you to choose while avoiding crowds, which I found to be a great idea (*⌒▽⌒*) The payment counter is right by the open entrance, which gives a sense of security (^-^) I ordered: ✰ Bistro Potato Salad ¥580- ✰ Parma Prosciutto ¥680- I was able to pay with PayPay (^^♪ When I opened the potato salad at home, I found smoked salmon, duck meat, and pate as a bonus!! These little (but significant for drinkers) bonuses really make me happy٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و Feeling uplifted, I plated the dishes and tasted them. The potato salad had a smooth texture with a hint of balsamic vinegar. The mayo was light but delicious (๑•̀⌄ー́๑)b The prosciutto was flavorful without any unpleasant smell. What both places had in common was their motto of being "cheap and tasty" and most customers were middle-aged men in suits. Today I participated in an event in Fukuoka called Bar Walk! It's a great opportunity to try out recommended dishes and drinks from different restaurants. I plan to visit 10 shops today! This event is already in its 16th edition, and I have participated in it over 10 times! I arrived 30 minutes early to wait (it starts at 3 pm). Bistros and foie gras places tend to have long lines during events like this, so it's good to be prepared. The event started at 3 pm with about 8 people waiting. The restaurant had a calm and sophisticated atmosphere with 6 tables and a counter. The first shop had a platter of appetizers as their recommended dish, which included pumpkin mousse, foie gras canapé, seaweed tempura, and homemade ham, paired with white wine. The pumpkin mousse was fluffy and sweet, the foie gras mousse was smooth and rich, the seaweed tempura was crispy and flavorful, and the ham was light and seasoned perfectly. Overall, the food was delicious and I would love to come back to try their pizza next time. It was a great dining experience!

This is a bistro located near Hakata Machiya Furusato-kan in Fukuoka. On this day, we used it for a dinner party with colleagues in the same industry that gathers once a month. The meal, including all-you-can-drink, was organized by the organizer for 5000 yen. The restaurant has a bistro atmosphere with a large blackboard displaying the menu. We started with a tapas platter with four varieties and a toast with sparkling wine. The dishes were served in large plates for four people each.
