Boiled egg ramen at Hakata Ramen ShinShin Hakata Tenjin Main Store Fukuoka My friend who lives in Fukuoka recommended this popular pork bone ramen shop that I researched before going to Hakata. Naturally, there was a long line before the opening... (It seems that there is a constant line from opening to midnight, and there is no break in between) After touring the city and returning, the line was still long, so we decided to wait. However, the turnover is very fast, so the waiting time is not as long as the number of people in line. When we entered the store, we saw autographed cards from famous people, reaffirming its popularity. I ordered the recommended boiled egg ramen. The time until it was served was very short. The cloudy soup had a thick texture and seemed rich, but when I tried it, there was no animal smell and the soup went down smoothly. The extremely thin Hakata-style noodles were ordered firm and became softer as I ate, reaching the perfect texture. The basic ingredients included thinly sliced wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and thin slices of chashu. The wood ear mushrooms and green onions were a perfect match. The chashu had a subtle presence. The topping of boiled egg had a gel-like yolk that enhanced the flavor when dipped in the soup. There were various condiments on the table such as garlic, red ginger, and roasted sesame, allowing for endless customization. And of course, I had to get an extra serving of noodles. Looking at the menu, there were plenty of appetizers and grilled ramen options, so it seems like I won't get tired of it no matter how many times I go. Thank you for the meal~

It's super crowded here, always a line. However, today around 7:30pm, miraculously there was a moment when it was empty! We lined up right after that though. The turnover rate is fast so you don't have to worry too much. I ordered the char siu ramen with half fried rice. The soup is refreshing with a hint of sweetness. The noodles are thin like Hakata ramen. The half fried rice portion is generous, doesn't feel like half. Very satisfied!

After watching the baseball game at Bestar Stadium, I arrived at the restaurant around 10 PM. It's a well-known place, so there was a long line in front of the store, and I was the 40th person in line. However, the turnover rate was very good, and I was able to enter the restaurant in about 30 minutes. I ordered the noodles with normal firmness and they arrived in just a few seconds. I quickly finished the bowl and ordered an extra serving of firmer noodles. It was a popular Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen that everyone would enjoy.

Please be prepared to wait in line! The thin noodles are delicious. The fried rice is also tasty. I'm sorry, but I only gave the dumplings ⭐️⭐️ because they're not my favorite style. They're crispy and juicy, and I think they're popular. However, I noticed a long line along the wall of Ankokuganji Temple in front of the restaurant. It would be great if they could implement a ticket system or a convenient notification system through mobile phones. It was quite hot, and some customers seemed like they might faint from heatstroke. I endured it, feeling like I was back in my school club activities. The staff also seemed to be struggling. I couldn't help but think that they should consider this aspect a bit more. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The noodles are thin. Extremely thin. I am from Kanto, but I thought it tasted like a house-style ramen. It's impressive that they offer a set with ramen, gyoza, and sake. Honestly, I don't want to wait for 1 hour in line to eat. I think I will go to a different restaurant. *The Parco branch is much less crowded than the main branch and you can wait indoors, so I recommend it.

Today, I went to "Hakata Ramen ShinShin Tenjin Main Store"! There were about 15 people waiting in line, but we were seated in about 10 minutes! We ordered a few dishes and tried the Mega Highball as well, which was just okay. We finished with ramen, which was also just okay. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I think one visit was enough for me.

This time, I went to "Hakata Ramen ShinShin Tenjin Main Store", which is a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Station on the Fukuoka City Subway. I ordered the "Ramen with Boiled Egg for 890 yen". This shop seems to be quite popular, as I had to wait in line for about an hour before entering the store. Once inside, the ramen was served quite quickly. The soup had a good pork bone flavor without the typical smell, making it delicious. The noodles were very thin and I chose them to be firm. They had a good chewy texture and were delicious. The chashu had a melt-in-your-mouth texture and paired perfectly with the pork bone soup. The boiled egg was perfectly half-cooked and went well with the rich soup.

I came to Fukuoka on a business trip and work ended late at night, so I came to this restaurant for a late-night meal. I appreciate that they are open late. Since I plan to have ramen for lunch tomorrow, I chose the yakitori ramen for my late-night meal (920 yen). It arrived in less than 10 minutes. It looked delicious with plenty of vegetables and seafood! The taste was as expected, delicious! The thin noodles typical of Hakata ramen were seasoned with Worcestershire sauce, which was very good. I finished it in no time. I guess the normal portion is not enough after all. But maybe this is just right for late at night. Next time, I want to try the tonkotsu ramen. Thank you for the meal!

When I arrived at 11:30, there was a long line wrapping around the temple across the street from the restaurant. Since I had to work starting at 1:00, I had to give up and come back after work around 3:15. I ordered the grilled ramen, but I was disappointed because the sauce was too overpowering, and the flavor of the pork bone soup was lost. I also ordered a half portion of rice, which ended up being more like a main dish than a side dish.

I arrived early as the store was supposed to open at 11, but it was already open and there was a line. They efficiently guided us through the line, and I tried their grilled ramen for the first time. It was delicious. It's no wonder this place gets crowded.

During summer vacation, I went to Fukuoka and of course, I couldn't leave without trying the authentic tonkotsu ramen. My friend, who is from Fukuoka, recommended ShinShin, and even though it was close to 11 pm, there was a line of 20 people waiting outside. The menu had not only ramen but also alcohol and appetizers, so I knew it would be a long wait. I hadn't had dinner yet, so I checked reviews on Tabelog to distract myself from my hunger while waiting. The line kept growing with more customers arriving, but after a while, we finally made it inside. Despite it being late at night, there were groups enjoying drinks and foreign customers who seemed to be ending their night with a final drink. The atmosphere inside was lively and bustling. We placed our order and waited. When the tonkotsu ramen arrived, it looked simple but the soup was delicious, rich in tonkotsu flavor but not overpowering. The thin noodles I ordered were also tasty. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to finish it since it was late and I was quite full, but before I knew it, I had cleaned my bowl. It was a satisfying meal. I would like to visit again at an earlier time to enjoy the drinks more leisurely next time.

I ordered ramen and mini fried rice. The ramen was incredibly delicious! The perfect balance of saltiness and pork bone flavor, unique thin noodles that are always tasty! Of course, I got an extra serving of noodles! I highly recommend ordering the mini fried rice to go with the ramen. It's just the right portion size (the regular size is too much) and goes perfectly with the pork bone soup! I recommend getting the ramen with extra noodles and half fried rice set. I went on a Saturday at the opening time of 11 am and waited for about 40 minutes. Due to the restaurant's popularity, make sure to go with some extra time to spare!

I visited the restaurant on Friday. I lined up 15 minutes before opening time. There were about 20 people waiting, but we were able to enter shortly after opening. It was a very hot day, but the staff lent me a parasol, which helped relieve some of the heat. I ordered the Barikata All Toppings Ramen. It was a light tonkotsu broth with thin noodles and very delicious. I added some red pickled ginger and chili oil halfway through, but I put too much chili oil and choked a little. Be careful not to add too much chili oil. I wanted to eat at the main store when I came to Hakata, so I was very satisfied.

The children wanted Hakata ramen, while I wanted yakisoba ramen. We found a restaurant where we could have both for lunch, and it turned out to be the highest-rated place. Despite being busy, the staff were all very kind and calm, which is rare for a popular restaurant. The owner's personality probably plays a big role in this. I would give them 5 stars for this. As for the food, the ramen was average, but the yakisoba ramen had a tasty sauce with plenty of vegetables. Surprisingly, the best dish was the meat miso stuffed in bell peppers from the izakaya menu, which we could order for lunch. It was delicious, especially when paired with their special chili oil on the table. Definitely worth a try!

Overall, it's neither good nor bad! The food is delicious and the cost performance is good, but is it really worth lining up for? I feel that the restaurant is not outstanding in terms of taste.

Located about a 4-minute walk from Tenjin Station, this restaurant received a rating of 3.58 at the time of the visit. It is a renowned spot for the famous Hakata specialty "Tonkotsu Ramen". I ordered the popular ramen with simmered egg for 890 yen. Fukuoka is known for its Hakata Ramen, and among the many tonkotsu ramen shops in the city, ShinShin is loved by both tourists and locals alike. I requested the noodles to be firm. The colorful bowl contained mushrooms and green onions. The soup was surprisingly creamy and very easy to drink, with a mild and gentle flavor that doesn't cause indigestion even after drinking alcohol. Although I ordered the noodles to be firm, those who take photos may prefer them to be very firm. Just a minute in the hot soup can soften the noodles, so I recommend ordering them very firm to truly experience authentic tonkotsu ramen. The texture of the chashu pork was tender and delicious. Overall, it was a bowl with high overall quality. Even after 1 am, the popularity of this place is evident. Thank you for the meal. Definitely give it a try! Review rating at the time: 3.58, Number of reviews at the time: 1478.

I went around 9 p.m. on Friday night. It was worth waiting in the line of 30 people for delicious ramen. It's my favorite rich ramen. I had already drunk quite a bit at the first place, but it was still delicious. I want to go next time when I'm not drunk.

Oh no! I finished the soup for the first time at a ramen shop. That's how delicious it was. I had the "Takana Ramen". The noodles were thin and tasty, and the soup was rich yet light, with no unpleasant smell. It's a taste that makes me want to eat it again when I think about it. There was a decent line, but the turnover rate must be good, or the staff are efficient, as large groups were able to enter smoothly. We didn't have to wait as long as we thought.

I went on a day trip to Fukuoka for work. After finishing a meeting at the site, I bought mentaiko (spicy cod roe) France at Panstock's Tenjin store. I decided to have ramen before heading back, so I visited ShinShin's main store in Tenjin. I was recommended this restaurant by someone from Fukuoka a while ago. There are also a few stores near Hakata Station, and I have eaten there when working near the station, but I haven't written a review of the main store yet. I arrived at the store around 6 pm. I was seated at a counter seat that was not crowded yet. There were constantly customers coming in. I looked at the menu and ordered ramen with soft-boiled egg, half-fried rice, and gyoza. The ramen was served in about 3 minutes! First, I took a sip of the soup. Ah! It really tastes different when you eat at the main store. It has a creamy and mild flavor, very delicious. As I was enjoying the noodles, the half-fried rice and gyoza were served. The gyoza was bite-sized... the taste was okay. The half-fried rice was moist and quite to my liking. Somehow, when people from outside the prefecture ask about "tonkotsu ramen," I feel like this is the taste they imagine. An authentic tonkotsu ramen! It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

After a drinking party in Tenjin, we went to Shinshin's main store for ramen. It was crowded even at night, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes to get in. Maybe we should have waited a little longer? Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at around 2:30 PM and had to wait for about 20 minutes, which I found impressive. The restaurant was packed with all shared seating. Most of the customers seemed to be tourists, and there weren't many locals. The taste was a light tonkotsu flavor.
