I visited with friends for a girls' gathering! The place is called Otoko-yama, but it's quite far from Kuzuhayori. Lunch is only available on weekends. Since lunch reservations are often fully booked, it's necessary to make a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance. There are 3 parking spaces. We also reserved a parking spot when making the reservation. The staff lent us a map of the parking lot when we asked. The entrance has a cute red door and a stylish atmosphere. The interior also has playful elements like wine cork dolls. Italian music is playing. There are only 3 tables, and they only have one seating at 12 o'clock. There were 2 other groups of ladies having a girls' gathering like us. Both of us chose the B set from the menu, which includes a pasta dish, a main dish, and a drink. First, we had soup and appetizers. The pumpkin soup was sweet and rich! The roast pork was also sweet and tender, with just the right amount of fat, not too heavy. The balance with the bread below was good! The veal and porcini mushroom lasagna had a strong porcini aroma. The dough was chewy, and the slightly sweet tomato sauce was just right! Everything had this "just a little bit" or "a little bit" touch that made it delicious. Next was the pasta dish! I chose the pasta with whitebait, mullet roe, broccoli, and garlic olive oil. It was beautiful and had a deep flavor of whitebait and garlic. My friend had the pasta with veal and red wine stew. The meat was plentiful with a hint of wine and slight acidity. Both were delicious, but the wine stew was even better... the balance was perfect. For the main dish, we ordered the beef fillet taliata for an additional 100 yen! It looked delicious from every angle! The meat was juicy, and the accompanying potatoes were delicious. My friend ordered the grilled cod with persimmon in burnt butter sauce. The aroma of the burnt butter filled the room and was irresistible! The cod skin was crispy, the flesh was tender, and the persimmon soaked in the burnt butter sauce was sweet and buttery. Then came dessert! We could choose from the desserts available that day. I chose the chestnut tart, and my friend chose the chocolate cake. The cappuccino had a cute pattern, and each of us had a different design. It was slightly sweet and delicious. It might be the most delicious cappuccino I've ever had. The dessert had plenty of chestnuts, and the chocolate cake was rich. I thought they could open a cafe with just the coffee alone! It was a luxurious and delicious experience! The bill was handled individually, and we appreciated the flexibility. This time, the lunch course was 3,500 yen, but I think the course without a main dish for 2,000 yen would also be enjoyable.
