Located about a 2-minute walk from Yakuin-Odori Station on the Fukuoka Subway, this is a popular high-end fruit parfait shop in Fukuoka. The exterior is glass-paneled and easy to find. The interior has a stylish atmosphere with white tones, and the staff provide detailed explanations about the fruits. There is a counter in the shop, but 4 seats are filled with fruits, so there is no seating available. They use large 2L-sized Satonishiki cherries from Yamagata for their Sakura-npo Parfait, and I was surprised by the generous amount of cherries used. The parfait consists of layers of cherry sorbet, cherry gelato, and other compatible gelato flavors, creating a luxurious parfait. The cherries are large and firm, with thick flesh that is satisfyingly juicy. Despite the sweetness that spreads in your mouth, the parfait is not heavy and can be easily finished in one go. Payment can be made in cash or with PayPay, but cards are not accepted, so be mindful of that. This is a place where you can enjoy seasonal fruits in a delicious way, and I would like to visit again.

The much-awaited peach parfait was made with sparkling peach called Kirakira Peach. It had a large, heavy peach placed on top. I was told, "The peach in the front is the sweetest, so please start with that," and indeed, the sweetness of the peach in front was exceptional! The simple presentation, not overly fancy, was just to my liking. It's always better to serve quickly rather than letting the cut and presentation time pass, as the taste is definitely better that way!

From Yakuin-Odori Subway Station, I walked southwest and arrived around 3:00 PM to find three people waiting outside. I used my newly purchased foldable chair to wait in the shaded corner of the parking lot for about 20 minutes. Once inside, I was recommended the pear or peach, but I ended up ordering the Shine Muscat Parfait with a sugar content of 20 degrees without checking the price. When asked about my drink, I chose Aomori apple juice. The parfait arrived in about 8 minutes and looked visually appealing, resembling a grape with many eyes. The grapes were sweet, but the 20-degree sugar content was a bit disappointing. The cream was minimal and average, while the apple juice was also just average. The total came to 4620 yen, which was a bit surprising, but I paid calmly and left the store. Looking at the menu images later, I realized it was indeed expensive. Despite this, I achieved my goal of trying the first sweets from the WEST Hyakumeiten 2023, and now I will aim for the second store.

At around 3 pm on a regular day, there isn't a line today, but there usually is. I'm torn between grapes, peaches, and figs for the last day of August, but today I chose grapes, specifically "Queen Nina." They are cut into bite-sized pieces, small but sweet enough without being too overwhelming. They are easy to eat, and the ice cream is also a nice touch. My friend got Red Shine Muscat and figs, and I tried a bite of the fig which was delicious! I wonder what I'll choose next time I come. I'm curious about the grapes in the showcase priced at 25,000 yen.

I went to the popular fruit-themed restaurant "Prince of the Fruits" for the first time with Jack. We ordered a peach parfait for my friend and a pear parfait for myself. The pear parfait was delicious! The pear used in it is said to be a rare, almost mythical pear that can only be eaten for 2 weeks a year. The regular pear slices were neatly arranged on top, with slices of pear and ice cream mixed together in the center. There were also diced pears at the bottom, making it a truly luxurious treat. My friend tried the peach parfait and was also very satisfied. I would love to visit this restaurant frequently. Thank you for the delicious meal! 🍐🍑

This was my first time visiting this place! The restaurant is located in Yakuin. We had to wait for about 3 groups ahead of us, but it was worth it. We ordered the Nagano-grown Peach Parfait for ¥2300 and the Fruit Tea for ¥700. The parfait was full of peaches and had a generous portion. It was delicious and satisfying. I would love to come back to try other varieties! Thank you for the meal!

I went to the parfait shop "Prince of Fruits" in Fukuoka City and chose the new Amao pear parfait! It was a great choice as the pear from Tottori Prefecture was juicy and refreshing. It seems they change the parfait flavors with the seasons, so I definitely want to come back again!

Hokkaido-produced "Furano Melon" Parfait for 2,420 yen
Nagano-produced "Kikiki Peach" Parfait for 2,530 yen
Parfaits that make you feel excited just by looking at them. Furano Melon, let me say it again. Just humming the name makes my mouth water. Kikiki Peach, nice to meet you for the first time. Thank you for the wonderful encounter. It was such a luxurious treat. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I revisited this place on Friday. The peach season is almost over. They said they will continue to offer them as long as they are available, but it looks like the next time I can come will be around October. I arrived around 10:40 am and there were 7 people waiting. It was hot, with scorching sunlight. By the time they opened at 11 am, there were 10 people, and we all managed to get inside. Even though I was alone, I was seated at a table for 4. Looking at the menu, the top special items were a Red Shine Muscat Parfait from Shimane Prefecture (4,400 yen) and a Sunshine King Shine Muscat Parfait from Okayama Prefecture (3,470 yen), but I wanted to have some peach before they're gone. I ordered a Kirakira Peach Parfait from Nagano Prefecture (2,530 yen) and a mango juice. The Kirakira peach from Nagano is a top-grade peach that has cleared the 13-degree sugar content standard using light sensors in the nationally renowned peach-producing region of Kawachinagano, where there is a significant temperature difference between day and night. I carefully used a fork to pick up the peach without spilling it. It was incredibly sweet, with a smooth and juicy texture, very delicious. Underneath the peach, there was a rich vanilla yogurt gelato, which, compared to the sweetness of the peach, had a slightly more subtle sweetness. I finished it in no time. Thank you for the meal.

I went after a long time! This time, there was a new variety similar to Shine Muscat, but I forgot the name. Was it Ruby Muscat? It was delicious. I ordered a fig parfait, but since we were four people, we shared and tried various dishes.

I entered the store right at 11 am when it opened. There was already a long line before opening. I ordered the "Ikkosaiden Mask Melon Parfait" from Kochi Prefecture for 2530 yen. I was a bit concerned about the flavor of the sherbet at the bottom, but I managed to finish it without any problems.

When I come to Fukuoka, I always visit this shop. It's a shop that serves parfaits made with special fruits. On this day, I ordered the red-fleshed melon parfait from Furano and the fig parfait. To enhance the sweet aroma of the red-fleshed melon, they paired it with slightly tart yogurt and whipped cream. The fig, known for its rich flavor rather than sweetness, was complemented with raspberries at the bottom and hazelnut mousse. The vertical layering really brings out the best in the fruits. I felt like it was a culinary parfait. I learn something new every time.

I visited around 3:30 PM on a regular day and only had to wait for about 30 minutes with two groups ahead of us. We ordered the Red Shine Muscat parfait and the fig parfait. The fruits were delicious, and the cream and ice cream were well-balanced with the fruits. The Red Shine Muscat was just as sweet as regular Shine Muscat, and the thin skin made it easy to eat. Overall, it was tasty, but the cost was a bit high at almost 7,000 yen for two parfaits. Also, it might be a good idea for the male staff (manager?) to coordinate their outfits with the female staff for a better overall atmosphere in the restaurant.

I had been very curious about this shop that even famous people had visited. Finally, I was able to visit it. They were able to change the flavor of gelato that I don't like! It was very delicious with lots of sweet and tasty fruits on top!

I usually dine in at the restaurant, but this time I did takeout. The seasonal special was a peach compote soft serve parfait. It was topped with pistachios and the ice cream itself had a rich milky flavor. The compote was delicious and I ended up quite full haha. The staff was also really friendly and wonderful.

The most popular mango parfait was sold out, so I asked for a recommendation and was told that the peach parfait is recommended for summer. I ordered the peach parfait for 2,750 yen. The peach was delicious, but for a parfait, it only had a little cream and ice cream aside from the peach, and they were just average. I expected more of a parfait experience, especially considering the price was close to 3,000 yen. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the staff were friendly.

Today was the day of a day trip to Fukuoka. I arrived at Fukuoka Airport, took the subway to Hakata Station, then took a bus from Bus Stop B at Hakata Station to Minamiyakuin, where I walked a little south to Prince of Fruits! This was my second visit. I arrived at the store around 11:20 am. It was full, so I waited outside on a bench for a little while. After about 10 minutes, I was seated at a sofa inside the store. I looked at the menu and found the peach parfait I was looking for. Since it's peach season, I really wanted to try a peach parfait as I love peaches. There were three types of peach parfaits on the menu: "Pleasure Miyu" Peach Parfait from Ichinomiya-cho, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, "Otato Ryo" Peach Parfait from Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and "White Ho" Peach Parfait from Saga Prefecture. I decided to go with the "Pleasure Miyu" Peach Parfait! The reason was simple - the other two parfaits had a rich vanilla yogurt gelato, while "Pleasure Miyu" had Earl Grey yogurt. Last time, I didn't quite like the rich vanilla flavor. After a 10-minute wait, it arrived! Wow, almost all peaches! I immediately started eating the peaches. They were fragrant, sweet, and juicy - simply the best! The Earl Grey yogurt gelato at the bottom complemented the peaches perfectly with its refreshing taste. It was delicious! I finished it in no time. If you want to order a fruit parfait in Fukuoka, this place is truly the best. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Domestic lychee. It seems like you can also eat it at the store, but I bought a box. It was so big and the flesh was so plump that I couldn't believe what I had been eating as lychee until now. It was incredibly delicious. The price is 7,000 yen per box, but it is definitely worth it!

I had some errands nearby and decided to stop by since there was no line. The parfait in this hot season is amazing. They use a whole luxurious peach from "Hitotsumomo" this time. It's very juicy and sweet. The yogurt sauce is also great. I was completely satisfied from lunchtime. It was delicious. It's also nice that all the staff members are friendly.

After arriving in Fukuoka and taking care of our first errand, we had some free time. Our companions wanted to eat a fruit parfait, so we headed to Yakuin-Odori Station. The opening of the Nanakuma Subway Line has made things more convenient. We arrived before the 11 a.m. opening time and there was already a line of about 10 people. It's amazing how popular it is, even on a weekday before lunchtime. We were seated in the sofa area at the back of the shop, but the sofas were too soft to sit comfortably. We tried the Okayama-grown "Sei-oh" Shine Muscat Parfait (3,960 yen) this time. With a sugar content of 18 degrees or more, it's like eating a sweet emerald jewel. The gelato was roasted pistachio and cream cheese. The texture of the fruit skin, the bursting fruit pulp, and the rich aroma were all top-notch. We also tried the "Excellent" Peach Parfait (2,750 yen) from Minami Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture. With a sugar content of 13 degrees or more, it's the highest quality peach. The gelato was yogurt and rich vanilla. The peach had a gentle sweetness and a soft acidity, with just the right amount of firmness in the fruit pulp. Unfortunately, the photos we took in the dimly lit sofa area may not show the vibrant colors of the parfaits. Sorry about that. Nevertheless, the fruits from all over Japan are truly amazing. It was a satisfying parfait time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

"Kochi Prefecture's 'Ikkasouden' Musk Melon Parfait"
Price: ¥2,530
This menu features a top-notch new brand of melon created by Mr. Morioka, the leading expert in Kochi melons. It is a luxury gift item that is hard to come by, with a fine texture being its main characteristic. It is the next generation brand that follows the Shizuoka Crown Melon, which reigns at the top of the Musk Melon world. The cultivation method known as "Ikkasouden" involves growing only one fruit per vine, ensuring that each fruit receives ample nutrition and care. This brand name reflects the luxurious cultivation method. By using high-quality organic fertilizers and digital data in healthy soil, combined with the skills of craftsmen, a well-balanced Musk Melon in terms of color, shape, and taste is produced. Despite the decline in sales of high-end fruits to restaurants, they managed to overcome the pandemic by increasing direct sales to consumers. In fact, June saw the highest sales on record. The Musk Melon from "Ikkasouden" is characterized by its aroma, sweetness, and beauty. The flesh is soft, and when you bite into it, the juicy juice spreads in your mouth. There are four ranks of Musk Melon in the "Ikkasouden" brand, making it possible to choose according to the recipient. The top selection is the highest-grade Musk Melon, with only about 3% of the harvest being selected from thousands of fruits. The "Middle Beauty" is the most affordable Musk Melon, with a slightly uneven appearance but a taste comparable to the top grade. Among the hit-or-miss blue-fleshed melons, this one was consistently sweet, soft, fragrant, and had a fine texture. It was incredibly delicious and irresistible. I realized once again that regular consumption of such deliciousness is essential! Looking forward to the next visit! #PrinceoftheFruit #KochiPrefecture #IkkasoudenMuskMelonParfait #MuskMelonParfait #MelonParfait #BlueFleshMelonParfait #IkkasoudenParfait #KochiMelon #IkkasoudenMuskMelon #Ikkasouden #ParfaitInstagram #ParfaitLovers #ParfaitEnthusiasts #ParfaitTour #SweetTooth #FukuokaSweets #FukuokaParfait #FukuokaGourmet #FukuokaFood #FukuokaPrefecture #FukuokaCity #FukuokaGourmet
