The atmosphere of the restaurant and the vibe of the customers were great, making the food taste even better. Every dish I tried was delicious, with a focus on grilled vegetables but the quality of the rice was also impressive. The staff were very attentive. I chose this place during my visit to Kyoto, but it turned out to be a local hangout. It was great to see a variety of Kyoto vegetables being used in the dishes.

I used this restaurant when I came on a business trip to Kyoto. I usually go to "Moritaya" for sukiyaki, but this time I wanted to try some vegetable dishes nearby. The restaurant was very busy and crowded, with a lively atmosphere and an open kitchen with a griddle in front of the counter. The vegetable dishes were a bit expensive, but they were well seasoned and satisfying. However, the service was slow, and it took about 90 minutes from the first order. If this restaurant were in my local area, I would visit frequently. Thank you for the meal.

The grilled vegetables were delicious, with shiitake mushrooms, Tanba shimeji mushrooms, bell peppers, endless tomatoes, and a savory sauce. The fried chicken and eggplant were tasty, along with the Wagyu beef and kale. The pickled figs with cream cheese were a unique and delightful combination. The grilled chicken skewers with homemade sauce were also very flavorful. Overall, the vegetables were particularly delicious.

A unique restaurant that focuses on vegetables! It seems like they use fresh vegetables of the season. I wish they would open in Osaka too. The staff are always smiling and friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy. The food is excellent as well. Besides vegetables, they also serve delicious Unzen ham, which was a pleasant surprise. A must-visit restaurant when drinking in Kyoto.

I visited the restaurant after finishing work on a business trip to Kyoto. I called before 18:00 and was able to make a reservation for 18:30. Lucky! I was welcomed with "Are you Mr./Ms. (name)?" just like last time. We started with a toast with a cold beer that was delicious! The dishes were all tasty - the young corn was juicy, the beef belly with watercress was a perfect match, and the Kyoto vegetables like eggplant, tomato, and deep-fried conger eel were enjoyable. The rolled omelet with soy milk broth and yakisoba were also delicious! I will definitely go there again!

I wanted to try various dishes for 3500 yen at a restaurant in the Iso group that I had been wanting to visit! The restaurant had a counter-style setup with no walls, making it feel connected to the outside and had a great atmosphere! Most of the dishes were vegetable-based, and each dish was of such high quality that I was impressed by how delicious they were! The black bean mascarpone was amazing!

I tried various dishes for 3500 yen and they were all delicious! Among them, the black bean mascarpone was truly impressive!! The restaurant had only a counter and no tables, so it may be more suitable for small groups. I want to go back again!

The open and lively atmosphere of the restaurant made it a fun place to enjoy a meal. Despite the crowd, we didn't have to wait too long for our food and the staff were busy but still managed to serve us with a smile. The teppanyaki grilled vegetables were all delicious, and I would love to go back again. It seems like they mainly have counter seats, so I would recommend making a reservation. The maximum group size might be around 4 people.

Every time we travel to Kyoto, we rely on Gogotei for our group of fifty people. On the first night, we visited Gogotei for the first time. We sat at the counter seats, so we could see the vegetables being cooked up close, which was fun. Both the drinks and the food were delicious and satisfying. I especially liked the black bean mascarpone, which paired well with the wine. There are many other menu items that caught my eye, so I would love to visit again on our next trip.

The menu using carefully selected ingredients such as Kyoto vegetables is unique and enjoyable both in taste and appearance. It would be even better if the place of origin, such as the prefecture or city where the ingredients were harvested, was indicated next to the producer's name, as it could also contribute to supporting local regions.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 5:30 PM with a reservation made in advance for drinks. The place was already bustling with customers. By 6 PM, it was almost full. I sat at the counter and ordered the menu items as listed in the order summary.
- Sweet potato potato salad (tax included 600 yen) Rating = ○
Topped with onsen tamago (hot spring egg), the salad is mixed by crushing the egg. The sweet potato skin adds a unique texture, and the crispy fried onions provide a crunchy contrast. The salad is characterized by an overflowing sweetness compared to regular potato salad.
- Drooling chicken with farm herbs and homemade dukka (tax included 750 yen) Rating = ○
Steamed chicken coated in a spicy sauce with plenty of sesame and coriander for aroma and flavor. It's quite spicy, so if you're not a fan of spicy food, be cautious. However, it pairs perfectly with beers like shiso beer or plum beer, which are on the sweeter side.
- Fried shrimp and taro (tax included 750 yen) Rating = ◎
Crispy coating with yuzu miso dipping sauce. The aroma of yuzu enhances the dish. The exterior is crispy, while the interior is moist and smooth, allowing you to savor the deliciousness of the shrimp and taro.
- Grilled vegetables (daikon radish) (tax included 650 yen) Rating = ◎
A must-try dish at this restaurant. The thick daikon is cooked tenderly throughout, topped with karasumi (bottarga). The fish flavor adds depth and richness to the dish, enhancing the sweetness of the daikon. The juicy texture of the daikon is delightful.
- Grilled vegetables (sweet potato) (tax included 600 yen) Rating = ◎
Soft and sweet sweet potatoes with a crispy skin, enhanced by butter and dill. The balance of flavors is perfect, with the butter adding a salty touch. The aroma of dill is a nice addition.
- Grilled vegetables (shiitake mushrooms) (tax included 550 yen) Rating = ○
Shiitake mushrooms with a generous amount of broth. Seasoned with Okinawan salt, the mushrooms have a firm texture and a delicious taste.
- Five-bite curry (tax included 500 yen) Rating = ○
Despite being called five-bite curry, the portion could be a bit more. However, the abundance of vegetables is a plus. Shiitake mushrooms, broccoli, and mizuna are included, with shiitake and broccoli also served as grilled vegetables. The curry has a rich broth and is topped with chicken. Squeezing lemon and mixing it with rice was a delightful way to finish the meal.
- Shiso beer (tax included 650 yen) Rating = ◎
Refreshing bitterness and fine bubbles make this beer enjoyable. The subtle flavor of shiso and a hint of sweetness create a perfect balance, making it easy to drink and delicious.
- Plum beer (tax included 650 yen) Rating = ○
The plum beer has a distinct plum flavor reminiscent of plum wine mixed with beer. It retains the essence of beer with fine bubbles. It has a cocktail-like taste.

This is one of the fifty group restaurants known for its overall high quality and popularity. I lined up before opening on a weekday and just made it in. I recommend making a reservation. I came alone, but they offer half sizes which is great for solo diners. The customers were mostly couples. Is this a place for playing matchmaker? Personally, I think you should definitely order one of the grilled vegetables! This time, I ordered the Tanba shimeji mushrooms and they were delicious! However, the ultimate recommendation would be the grilled chicken tenderloin and white leek yakisoba! They don't offer a half size, but it's so good you'll finish it in no time. It's perfect for finishing off your meal! I'll definitely bring friends next time! Thank you for the meal.

One of the popular and recommended restaurants in the Gokka Group in Kyoto. This place is famous for its seasonal grilled vegetables. I have visited some of their affiliated stores before, but this was my first time here! I made a reservation about a month ago during the autumn foliage season. Here's what I ordered:
- Shine Muscat Brata Cheese
- Avocado Slice
- Tofu Rolled Omelette
- Grilled Vegetables (Sweet Potato)
- Wagyu Beef and Watercress
Everything was really delicious and went well with alcohol. The grilled vegetables, which are the main dish of the restaurant, were ordered with sweet potatoes, and the sweetness of the sweet potatoes soaked in butter was very delicious! Also, I liked the simple and fluffy tofu rolled omelette. I also had some drinks and the total bill was less than 5000 yen per person, so it was affordable. Reservation is required, but if you are traveling to Kyoto, be sure to visit this place!

This is a restaurant near Sanjo in Kyoto that specializes in grilled vegetables. It has a chic atmosphere and seems to attract a lot of female customers due to its focus on vegetables, but three men went there. We made a reservation in advance and arrived shortly after opening. We sat at the counter seats, which are slightly curved and relatively easy for three people to chat. The menu lists the main vegetables prominently, with the dish names more discreetly. We ordered what caught our eye: shiitake mushrooms, Nameko mushrooms, arugula, sweet potatoes, turnips, and Kujo green onions. Everything was delicious! The shiitake mushrooms were simply tasty, the sweet potatoes were sweet and comforting, the turnips had a soy sauce aroma that enhanced their sweetness, and the Kujo green onions with pork were rich and flavorful. In addition to vegetables, we also ordered grilled fish, tofu dashi rolled omelette, and homemade sweet potato tempura. They were all delicious, but the sweet potato tempura was especially fluffy and enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful meal. Thank you for the feast.

I was looking to eat Kyoto vegetables but couldn't find a good restaurant in time. However, while wandering around, I stumbled upon a crowded shop! Since it was busy, I decided to go for standing and eating style without any hesitation. They serve Kyoto local vegetables with added touches to bring out their goodness. The eggplant was in mapo style, and the bell peppers were cooked with pork and bean sauce. Every dish was incredibly delicious! I definitely want to go back again!

I arrived in Kyoto around 9 pm and went to find dinner at Sanzenri! My companion found it for us! Since it was late at night, when I called, they said only standing seats were available. But when we arrived, they said they would seat us as soon as there was space. Thank you for your consideration. The watermelon and sansho pepper sour drink was delicious! The avocado sour was also good! I was a bit skeptical at first, but it was tasty. We had talked about wanting to eat Kyoto vegetables and conger eel, so we were very satisfied! Personally, there's no photo, but the summer vegetable ohitashi with mascarpone was delicious. The coaster had cute vegetable slices on it. The staff were very kind too! I would love to go back again! It was really delicious, thank you for the meal!

Kobe is known for its meat, Osaka for its flour dishes, and Kyoto for its vegetables! This place excels at creating innovative dishes by combining Kyoto vegetables with something else. I highly recommend this place to people from Tokyo, but make sure to reserve a table in advance as it gets busy. The beer is always ice-cold and the staff provides excellent service, even addressing customers by their names. The dashimaki tamago here is the best I've ever had, and each one I've tried has been delicious. The male staff members are all handsome, and both the female staff and customers are beautiful. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit in Kyoto!

I was able to enjoy a variety of vegetables! I was disappointed that my favorite eggplant was already sold out, but all the staff were so cheerful that it made me feel good, haha. I ordered fried rice to finish, but fried noodles came out instead - but it was delicious too, so all good. Haha. The pistachio ice cream with Okinawan black sugar was incredibly delicious! The crunchy black sugar paired with the ice cream texture was the best for me. I will definitely go back again!

I made a reservation for the first visit to the Gokka Group as soon as they opened at 5:00 pm on a holiday. There is no parking available. The total bill was 3,250 yen. They provide clear receipts which is a plus. The homemade mojito for 600 yen was disappointing as it lacked mint. The white corn for 600 yen was sweet and tasty but didn't exceed expectations. The half portion of romaine lettuce for 400 yen was good with no unpleasant smell. The grilled conger eel with plum sauce for 850 yen had a refreshing sour taste from the plum but the eel itself had a slight smell. The half portion of eggplant for 400 yen was delicious and melted in the mouth. The half portion of arugula for 400 yen was not well-matched as the cold icefish didn't go well with the warm arugula. The staff, except for the manager, were friendly and service was good. They offer a discount for standing room which is nice. Overall, the quality of the food and drinks did not meet expectations, but I am still interested in exploring more of the Gokka Group in the future.

The restaurant has been renovated with a focus on counter seating, allowing for social distancing. The counter distance is carefully designed as an art form. There are also standing drink seats available. They cook fresh vegetables deliciously, so even people who don't like vegetables can enjoy them. In my opinion, the dashimaki tamago and corn tempura are must-try dishes.
