I visited around 1 pm. Despite it being a weekday, the restaurant was full and there were even a few people waiting outside. After a 20-minute wait, I finally got inside and ordered the mixed noodles. It looked hearty, but surprisingly had a mild flavor that was easy to eat. It was delicious, but personally, I was expecting something more substantial, so it was a bit different from what I had in mind. Still, I think it's a restaurant worth stopping by.

After work, I wanted to eat a hearty bowl of ramen, so I came here... I ordered the special pork broth ramen. I have now tried all the items on the menu, and they were all delicious... It's hard to choose the best one. Next time, I think I'll try the mixed noodles here for the first time!

Limited to August, the cold Jiro-style thick noodles were not to my liking as the cold noodles were too firm. Perhaps it's popular among young people. The ingredients (meat, bean sprouts, green onions, noodles, sauce) were all in a ??? state. I thought it was cold because it's summer, but it was a mistake.

I felt like eating ramen, so I visited this place where I had a delicious meal before. There were 3 customers ahead of me, but I was able to enter without waiting. There was a limited-time menu available, but today I chose the Jiro Ramen with 200g of noodles. It was quite a generous portion, but I enjoyed it very much!

It had been a while since I wanted to eat mazesoba, so I visited the restaurant on a late weekend. There was no line, and I was seated right away. Although they were having a Jiro-style event, I ordered the regular mazesoba this time, and it was truly delicious with the perfect amount of oil drizzled on top.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a regular day. The manager was not there, and it seemed like a young staff member was handling everything alone. I ordered the mixed noodles for 1000 yen and received a ticket. After presenting the ticket and stamp, I waited for a while. I had tried the squid ink black mixed noodles before, but this time I went for the regular one, which I hadn't tried yet. The mixed noodles arrived, and I mixed it well. The visual of the broth with back fat was impressive, but it wasn't too heavy. I finished all the noodles and added a small portion of the finishing rice. I then added a lot of black seaweed provided and covered the bowl with it. The perfect junk finishing rice was complete. It was another blissful meal. I apologize to the back fat god for consuming so much black seaweed every time. Thank you for the meal.

I had to visit the area for work, so I stopped by after lunch. I thought it might be too rich, but it was actually easy to eat and delicious. The broth wasn't too heavy, and the soy sauce-based ramen was tasty. It's a flavor that would even be good for a hangover. I would like to go again.

Around 11:30, I visited "Seabura no Kami Fushimi Gouriki Store" near Kintetsu Fushimi Station alone. The ramen menu at the Fushimi Gouriki store includes 3 types: 2 regular options and a limited-time May special. The store is one of four locations, each with different menus. The Fushimi Gouriki store menu includes: - Pork back fat ramen: 850 yen - Flavored egg pork back fat ramen: 970 yen - Special pork back fat ramen: 1,200 yen The ramen features a broth made from chicken, pork, and 6 types of seafood, served with thin noodles. They also offer a variety of mazesoba and a unique dish called Seabura Rice. I tried the Special Pork Back Fat Ramen, which had a clear yet rich broth with a generous amount of char siu. It was a satisfying and classic flavor that didn't get boring. I would like to try the Ultimate Seabura Rice next time.

Fish God Jiro 1000 yen In the past, there were several shops in Kyoto called "Nijiro" which were inspired by the Jiro style with seafood. Although I don't eat Jiro style ramen often, I always liked this place, so when I heard they were doing a limited-time seafood Jiro, I decided to try it out! It didn't feel exactly like Jiro, but it had a good amount of fish powder and paired well with their signature sea bream. Sea bream is available as a limited-time item at various locations, and I've been really into it lately.

I stopped by on my way home from work. I drove there and parked at a nearby supermarket. I arrived around 8:00 PM and there were about 2 people already eating, so I bought a meal ticket and was able to sit down easily! I ordered the limited-time Fish Ramen from Jiro and started with the soup, which was delicious. The noodles are thick Jiro-style noodles that go well with the soup. It's a ramen with the soul of the staff in it! By the time I finished about 2/3 of it, the place was full. I realized once again that it's a popular restaurant!

I visited the restaurant on a weekday during lunchtime and met Fushimi Gouriki from the Seabrano Kami Group. I had enough stamps from this group to exchange for a novelty T-shirt, so I decided to stop by. I ordered the Back Fat Soy Sauce Ramen for 850 yen and a 250 yen set (steamed rice + fried chicken). You can choose between rare chashu and simmered pork for the topping, and I chose simmered pork this time. The ramen had the usual thin noodles with a rich back fat flavor. I enjoyed some steamed rice with fried chicken on the side, and towards the end, I mixed the remaining soup with the rice in the bowl. I topped it with a generous amount of black roasted seaweed provided at the table, and it turned into a delicious back fat black roasted seaweed porridge. It was gone in no time! It seems like I always end my meals this way, haha. I am truly grateful for the black roasted seaweed from the Seabrano Kami Group. The design of the novelty T-shirt was also stylish, so I decided to share a photo of it. Thank you for the delicious meal today!

I went to Seabrano Kamifushimi at Fushimi Station North and tried the limited-time Beef Tendon Curry Mazemen for 1000 yen in late April. It had a strong flavor with hints of star anise, and used thick noodles. The noodles alone were delicious. Toppings included beef tendon, potatoes, and green onions. The curry sauce had a creamy touch, giving the noodles a mild taste. Lastly, diving into the rice topped with cheese powder added another layer of enjoyment. However, the downside was that it felt like a pre-made curry. Also, the noodles felt separate from the curry sauce, giving a strange sensation of separation. This restaurant usually changes its menu monthly, but this Beef Tendon Curry Mazemen was only available for 10 days. Despite regulars usually avoiding special menu items, many people were trying the Beef Tendon Curry Mazemen on this day.

Chashu ramen with back fat for 800 yen. This is the basic ramen that serves as the foundation at all locations. It's the most recommended item on the current menu. While it's easy to get swayed by limited-time offerings, this is a safe choice that won't disappoint. The only menu item that might surpass this is the old-school chashu ramen without back fat that used to be a limited-time item. There may not be a menu item that surpasses that yet. However, it takes a lot of mental strength to order noodles without back fat at a shop known for its back fat, so unless you have a heart of steel, like with Jiro-style no-noodle orders, it might be impossible (laughs). However, I did see it happen once in the past at a Jiro-style shop near Keihan Fujimori Station, which has since closed. The customer was scolded twice after ordering noodles without back fat. The atmosphere in the shop became tense. It seems like ordering noodles without back fat is quite challenging.

This is a review of Seaburano Shin Fushimi Gouriki. I visited for the first time since October 26th last year. I ordered the mixed noodles (medium 200g) for 950 yen with a side of rice. I arrived around 11:25 and the restaurant was already open. It took about 4 minutes until the noodles were served. I topped it with sliced chashu, seasoned egg, green onions, dried seaweed, fish powder, arare red, and pork fat. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles. I was debating between a creamy chicken broth or a rich pork bone broth, and ended up choosing Seabura's default option. The noodles were chewy and coated in a flavorful sauce, giving it a satisfying texture. The sliced chashu was juicy with each bite, and the green onions and arare red added a nice crunch and spiciness. The seasoned egg provided a creamy and sweet element, while the dried seaweed added a hint of ocean flavor. I sprinkled some dried seaweed on top and added a spoonful of apple vinegar and garlic from the condiments on the table for a flavor boost. I finished every last bite and sip, feeling satisfied. It was delicious - thank you for the meal!

Chashu ramen with back fat for 800 yen plus a bonus of seared rice. Yesterday I had oden, sushi, gyoza, standing sushi, and coffee. Feeling quite full but need to replenish what's missing. I've had squid ink mixed ramen a few times so today I went for regular ramen. I actually prefer ramen without back fat, but I wonder if they can make it without the fat? Considering the name of the restaurant, it might be difficult, but their quality is top-notch!

Visited in March 2023 ◎ At the time of posting, the restaurant had a rating of 3.66 on Tabelog (based on 233 reviews). ■ Grilled Cheese Mapo Mazesoba: ¥1,000 (tax included) *Medium: 200g, Large: 300g (served with rice) Today's lunch was at "Seaburanokami Godpower Fushimi Store" for their Mazesoba Fair! When I went, it was the second stage of the fair from March 11th to 20th, featuring the "Grilled Cheese Mapo Mazesoba" with rice included. I ordered the medium size instead of the large, and decided to add extra rice if needed. The counter had 8 seats and there was a tatami area in the back for 4 people. Some young people came later and managed to fit 5-6 people around the counter. They provided various condiments like chopped garlic, vinegar, shichimi pepper, pepper, and aosa. Along with the "Grilled Cheese Mapo Mazesoba," they also brought out sansho pepper. The dish wasn't just mazesoba with mapo tofu on top, it had a bit of soup in it, making it a bit different from the usual mazesoba. The mapo tofu was sweet at first, but the spiciness kicked in towards the end. The tofu was soft and the cheese was in chunks, so depending on where you ate, you could really taste the cheese. You can customize the level of spiciness by adding sansho pepper to your liking. The thick noodles had a good chewy texture and 200g was quite satisfying. The small portion of rice was enough to make me full without needing to upsize. It was definitely a good decision not to go for the large portion. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Fushimi Ramen Rally, sixth stop. This is the second event held between March and April. I thought I couldn't go wrong with mapo tofu, so I decided to try it at this timing. Normally, I would avoid mapo tofu with cheese, but this time I decided to give it a try. The mapo tofu here was delicious! It wasn't like other dishes where adding cheese feels forced. I usually have a strong dislike for dishes with cheese piled on top, but this one worked well. The noodles were quite filling, so having rice with the mapo tofu is a must. I thought I wouldn't be able to finish the rice, but surprisingly, I left the restaurant feeling satisfied. It was a good choice after a long time.
