Chinese cuisine Tokyo Top 100 Restaurants 2023, lunch from 1100 yen at Ebisu. The black chili shrimp was featured on the TV show "Ousama no Brunch". Visited on Thursday at 12:10, seating rate was about 50%. Initially worried as the elevator was full once and the last visit was fully booked, but luckily it was available today. The elevator ride up before was for a private party, perhaps? The interior is still stylish, even after a year. Last time, there was no lunch menu on holidays, so revisited for the lunch menu today, and yes, they have it. It's still hot, so I ordered the cold tan-tan noodles... Oh? I wrote the same thing yesterday at Masazuki Kitchen from the Top 100 list. Well, it's the last day of August, so they might remove the cold menu soon, so it's fine to have it twice. Also ordered the mini mapo tofu that I couldn't try last time. Asked if it comes with rice, but they said no, so I confirmed if there is mini rice, and it was available, so I ordered that too. The dishes arrived in about 10 minutes, the portion looks generous. The rice seems like a regular serving, so I might skip the second lunch today. The set includes two appetizers, mini mapo tofu, rice, and mini dessert. The two appetizers are well-seasoned and delicious. The mapo tofu has a good level of spiciness from the sweet bean sauce, which I like. The cold tan-tan noodles are in a light tea broth with chili oil, visually appealing, and the sesame flavor is rich, with minced meat, green onions, and even peanuts, which is very tasty. I started eating normally, then made a mapo tofu rice bowl with half of it, and later changed the flavor by pouring the sesame sauce from the cold tan-tan noodles over it, enjoying the different tastes until the end. The bill was settled at the table, 1400 yen including tax, and I could pay by card. The cold tan-tan noodles were 1100 yen, and the mini mapo tofu was 300 yen, so was the rice complimentary? It was delicious, so I might come back next time to try the limited fried rice.
