Nagaragakan ♡ Kyoto ❤︎ Higashiyama ♡ my pick!・Mille-Feuille ♡
Nagaragakan, a Western-style mansion built as a reception hall, retains its quaint appearance and has been designated as a "Tangible Cultural Property of Kyoto City" (˶'ᵕ'˶ )︎ Inside the glamorous mansion, there is a stylish café where you can relax in the rooms that were actually used. I went to the café at Nagaragakan this time ⸜( ・ᴗ・ )⸝♡
At the dessert café Nagaragakan, the Afternoon Tea-exclusive lounge "Geihin-no-ma" is available, making Afternoon Tea popular. However, you can also use it for lunchtime or enjoy café time with individual sweets. You can enjoy a luxurious time that you cannot experience in your daily life at a former reception hall during café time.
Located in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Nagaragakan was built as a reception hall for domestic and foreign guests in 1909 ♡ Many of its buildings and furnishings have been designated as Tangible Cultural Properties of Kyoto City, preserving the charm of that time (* 'ᵕ' )☆ Built by Murai Yoshibei, known as the "Tobacco King," Nagaragakan was a reception hall used by prominent figures of the Meiji era such as Ito Hirobumi and Okuma Shigenobu, as well as many foreign guests.
Surrounding Nagaragakan are tourist spots representing Kyoto, such as Maruyama Park and Yasaka Shrine, making it easily accessible \( ˙▿˙ )/♡ The elegant interior with a graceful appearance allows you to forget your daily life and enjoy a leisurely moment.

Nagaragakan has a restaurant and café, but among them, the dessert café Nagaragakan, where you can enjoy Afternoon Tea or lunch, is more casual and recommended than the restaurant. Even though it is a café, you can use the elegant and glamorous rooms of Nagaragakan, making it popular. The café is open from 11:00 to 19:30 and has 150 seats. There are seven rooms with different atmospheres where you can enjoy your meal at the dessert café Nagaragakan.
