Visited "Ken 10 Ramen" to try their limited edition "Cold Shoyu Ramen" during the Tonton Week from July 10th to 19th. Also ordered their mentaiko rice as a side dish. The cold ramen arrived, looking refreshing with a clear and crisp soup. The soup had a nice color and the chashu pork slices were generous. Toppings like menma, green onions, and bonito flakes added to the overall presentation. The soup had a hint of soba broth flavor, which I really enjoyed. The way the soup coated the chewy noodles was satisfying. The chashu was tender and flavorful. After finishing the noodles, I mixed the remaining soup with the mentaiko rice to create a delicious ochazuke-like dish. Ken 10 Ramen never fails to impress with their satisfying meals.

It's been a while since I visited "Ken 10 Ramen" restaurant. Although it's close to my home, I haven't been there in a while. This time, I ordered their classic "Kobuton Ramen" with a side of rice (seaweed rice). The ramen arrived with a thick and flavorful soup, large slices of chashu, thick menma, seaweed, and green onions. The noodles were straight and medium-thin. The soup was rich and tasty, not too heavy, and very satisfying. The noodles paired perfectly with the soup. The menma was soft and the chashu was full of flavor. After finishing the ramen, I poured the remaining soup over the rice for a delicious finish. The seaweed added a nice touch. As always, Ken 10 Ramen did not disappoint. Next time, I'll try their limited edition ramen or my favorite maze soba.

I love tsukemen and there were various menu options here, but I decided to order the tsukemen. The chewy noodles with the thick soup were so delicious, it ranks among the best tsukemen I've ever had! I visited on a weekday and was able to get in easily, which was great. I wish there were more payment options available.

This is my fourth visit to this restaurant. The first time, I was impressed by the pork marinated in miso, and next I tried the Ken 10 and was somewhat satisfied. After a while, I had the Ken 10 again and was still somewhat satisfied. This time, I went for the pork marinated in miso again. My overall impression is that my rating has been decreasing since the first visit. I'm not sure why, I thought it was delicious at first. The rice at the end didn't taste good to me. Maybe my taste buds have changed.

After many years, I visited "Ken 10 Ramen" again. This time, I tried their limited edition "Stone-grilled Tantan-style Ramen" for Ton Ton Week, and added a side of seaweed kimchi rice. The ramen arrived bubbling hot and steaming in the bowl. The soup was a creamy tantan broth, not too spicy but very flavorful. The noodles were slightly thick, straight noodles that held their shape well even when piping hot. I quickly finished the bowl as it was so delicious. The best part was pouring the soup over the seaweed kimchi rice and eating it together. It was truly delicious as always.

Next to the store, there is a bicycle parking lot. On Sundays and holidays, there are often many people around the car. It is quite a walk from Hankyu or Randen Saiin Station. You can choose an available sliding door out of the four while looking at the menu in front of the store after drinking alcohol. The style is to order as needed while serving yourself cold water at the table.
- Tonkotsu ramen with an additional boiled egg (¥950): The soup is a light pork bone flavor with a hint of soy sauce, not too oily or smelly. The noodles are medium-thick and cooked al dente, but personally, I prefer them more chewy than firm. The ingredients include spinach, green onions, bamboo shoots, seaweed, and three slices of pork shoulder chashu, which is lightly seasoned and not too heavy. The two female staff members were very friendly, which was appreciated. However, due to the current situation, the limited space and lack of ventilation made me leave early.
- Combination plan: This seems to be popular with locals. They visit the nearby Daiso, browse the wholesale market Takagi, take a leisurely walk around Sanjo Shopping Street, and buy a bento at Hiro before heading home. If you are able to visit, I recommend stopping by the Rainforest House within a 10-minute walk for their hotcakes or pudding.

The menu offers a variety of options including Ken 10 Ramen, Ken 10 Abura Soba, Tonkotsu Maro Tamari Shoyu with Niboshi Shoyu, and Tonkotsu Doro Tsukemen, along with monthly limited edition noodles. On my first visit, I tried the signature Ken 10 Ramen with an added seasoned egg. The soup base is a light and clear Tonkotsu broth, topped with three slices of thinly sliced rare chashu. The noodles are thick and chewy, complementing the soup well. The Menma (bamboo shoots) are thick and add a unique Kyoto-style touch. Although I prefer to taste the simplicity of a new restaurant's signature dish, I am also interested in trying their dipping noodles and the various monthly ramen options. I look forward to visiting again when I am in the area.

We had lunch with my wife at the popular ramen shop Ken10 Ramen in Mibu. We ordered the Ken10 Ramen for 850 yen with extra noodles for 100 yen and a seasoned boiled egg for 100 yen. The Ken10 Ramen has a rich pork bone soup that goes well with the medium-thick noodles. It comes with rare chashu pork, spinach, menma bamboo shoots, and chopped green onions. My wife ordered the Shio Ramen with dried sardine and soy sauce, which has a light and gentle taste. It feels a bit light after having something rich, but the recommended dish here is definitely the Ken10 Ramen. The richness of the soup was just right.

I visited Ken 10 Ramen with my family for lunch. The menu at Ken 10 offers a wide variety of options such as Ken 10 Ramen (Kobuton), Tonkotsu Marotamari Soy Sauce Ramen, Ken 10 Aburasoba, Tonkotsu Doro Tsukemen, Niboshi Shoyu Ramen, Asian Curry Mazesoba, Tori Buta Shirodashi Lemon Butter Ramen, and more. Since it was my first visit, I tried the standard Ken 10 Ramen. The Tonkotsu Shoyu broth had a deep sweetness without being too heavy, with a refreshing and sharp taste. It was rich in flavor but not spicy, making it addictive. The noodles were thin and perfectly matched the soup. The thinly sliced chashu had a great taste and balanced the dish well. Overall, it was delicious and I look forward to visiting again.

First visit! I had been curious about this place for a while, and finally decided to check it out. The interior had only a counter seating, and this time I played it safe by ordering the "Ken 10 Ramen". The soup was on the rich side, but not overwhelming, and I was able to finish it all. The noodles were medium thickness and paired perfectly with the soup. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like eating a rich ramen for lunch, so I visited during lunchtime. Since there was no parking lot, I had to park at a nearby coin parking, but they were all full. After waiting for a while, I finally arrived at the restaurant, where there was also a short wait. It felt like a common occurrence, but I was able to enter relatively quickly. The restaurant was efficient, so the turnover seemed fast. I ordered the standard Ken 10 ramen with extra chashu and seasoned egg toppings. It had a somewhat junky feel, but also a mild deliciousness. It was tasty. Next time, I will order something even richer.

I ordered the Fist 10 Ramen with an additional boiled egg. The soup was rich in flavor but not too heavy, with a light yet rich taste. The boiled egg had a creamy yolk. The noodles were medium thickness straight noodles that soaked up the soup well and were delicious!

On the first day of a short stay trip in Kyoto, I got off at Nishiin Station for the first time in many decades and headed towards Hourin-ji Temple. Feeling a bit hungry, I arrived at a restaurant about 10 minutes ago. The restaurant opened and I sat on the right side of the counter. My companion ordered pork ramen, while I chose the limited edition "Pork Ginger Stroganoff Mazesoba," which is a creamy mazesoba with a pig character in mind. The food was being prepared by a surprisingly female chef. Looking around the restaurant, I noticed unique illustrations on the menu, and the tissue box on the counter was coming out of the nose of a Moai statue, which was quite amusing. Now the mazesoba has arrived. Served in an orange bowl, there were two types of chashu at the back, and an orange liquid that I couldn't identify. The noodles were thick curly noodles, with 3 slices of two types of chashu and pork belly, and boiled cabbage underneath the sauce. There was a pork belly-like pork piece that was different from the chashu. I mixed everything together and it turned out to be just regular mazesoba. I thought it would have been nice to have some rice as well, but it was too late to order, so I skipped it. I wanted to eat lightly as it was still early in the evening and I didn't want to get too full. Thank you for the meal.

There was a training near Hankyu Saiin Station, so I used it for lunch. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Saiin Station, so it may not be the closest station. It's a small restaurant with only counter seats. There are no partitions between seats, and although there is alcohol disinfection, it feels a bit crowded. It was lunchtime, but since it was a weekday, I was able to enter without waiting. I ordered the "Kobuton" ramen (850 yen). It is described as a medium-thick and rich ramen. It arrived in 3 minutes after ordering. The toppings included seaweed, bamboo shoots, green onions, and chashu. It was indeed a slightly rich ramen, but not overly heavy. The noodles were medium thick and had a good firmness. The bamboo shoots were thick and had a good texture. The chashu was thinly sliced. Overall, it was a normal, slightly rich ramen that seemed familiar, and considering the many ramen shops in Kyoto, I don't think I would specifically go back for it.

☆ To Ramen shop "Ken 10 Ramen" in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City. First visit. I have been wanting to come to this shop for a long time after seeing information posted online and in ramen books. The shop is surprisingly small! It has a counter only, and the atmosphere is very Showa era-like. It feels like an old-fashioned izakaya or yakitori shop. It was run by two women. I was interested in the rich Tonkotsu 10 Ramen, but I decided to go with the default medium thick "Ken 10 Ramen" for 850 yen. The ramen had a tea-colored soup with plenty of chashu lined up. First, I tried the soup. It was a rich and thick Tonkotsu soy sauce broth with a nice viscosity. Delicious! And the noodles were amazing! They were thick, flat noodles with a low water content that had a nice chewy texture. They paired perfectly with the rich soup! The chashu was a lean type with little fat, but it was not dry and had a tender texture. Since it was thinly sliced, it was very soft and tasty. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant on Friday evening, June 18, around 6:30 pm. It started raining, so I hurried inside! There were three customers inside the small restaurant, making it look crowded. I ordered the mixed noodles. The serving was quick! The taste was delicious with soy sauce seasoning, but it lacked the impact of ramen! It felt somewhat unsatisfying without adding rice or something to finish the meal. While it was good in its own way, the Fist of the North Star ramen is the way to go here.

The other day, I had the Torotamari Ramen and it was delicious, so I arrived at the restaurant at 12:05. It was already full and there were two people waiting. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I was able to enter. This time, I had the Ken10 Ramen. I added extra chashu and egg. The taste was rich in soy sauce flavor and the soup was very delicious. However, I think I preferred the Torotamari from the other day. The rice for the end was also delicious, but I liked the kimchi from the other day more than the seaweed this time. I plan to go back to have the Torotamari again.

Hello. This is Shunmama. On Sunday, June 6th, I had work in Kyoto in the morning, and when I finished, it was just about lunchtime. I did a quick search for a ramen shop near the nearest station and found this place: [Ken 10 Ramen] (Kobuton Ramen). Without any prior research, I ordered the featured ramen of the month: SABA seafood ramen for 850 yen, along with a boiled egg for 100 yen. The shop only had counter seats and was run by two female staff members. When the ramen arrived, it was beautifully presented, but I couldn't find the boiled egg at first. The owner pointed out that it was hidden behind the chashu. I took a sip of the soup and was impressed by the rich and creamy flavor. The noodles were soft and matched well with the soup. I quickly devoured the noodles, toppings, and soup, and before I knew it, I had finished everything. I later realized there was rice on the menu, but I was so impressed by the delicious soup that I just enjoyed it as it was. Thank you for the meal. I would love to come back again. #KyotoLunch #KyotoRamen #Ken10Ramen #FeaturedOfTheMonth #FeaturedRamen #SABASeafoodRamen #SabaFishFlavor #CompleteConsumption #CompleteConsumptionAndEating

I walked from Nishioji Station to the sister store of the Michelin-starred restaurant "Ken Ramen," called "Ken 10 Ramen," thinking that nobody would come because of the heavy rain. Since I don't get to come here often, I tried the Ken 10 Ramen and also the Ken 10 Abura Soba. The noodles, chashu, and menma were all delicious. Ken 10 Ramen is located at Kawashima Building 1F, 10-6 Minami Nakagawa-cho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture.

Visited on Tuesday night, May 25, 2021, a little after 6 pm. There was one customer before me. Today, I had the dried fish and soy sauce ramen. With this, I have almost tried all the ramen here. The soup had a refreshing dried fish flavor. It goes well with the coarse ground black pepper. The noodles were medium thick and square in shape, which also paired nicely with the soup. I like all three types of noodles here, but personally, I recommend the Ken10 ramen, which is named after the shop. Next time, I need to try the dipping noodles and mixed noodles. Don't miss out on the monthly limited editions!
