This time, while walking with Dragon Quest Walk, I encountered a ramen shop called "Ramen Kamen 55," which has an interesting name. The retro feel of the sign and the appearance of the shop, which looks more like an ethnic restaurant than a ramen shop, caught my interest. When I entered the shop, it was quite crowded, with about 70% of the seats filled, probably because it was Sunday. The owner seemed Japanese, but the other staff members seemed to be from tropical countries. Not knowing much about spicy ramen shops, I randomly chose the "Panic Ramen Extreme" for 1,300 yen. I decided on it because it seemed to have a lot of vegetables. After ordering, a strong smell of something spicy being stir-fried wafted over to the counter seat where I was sitting, and my eyes started to sting a little. It was then that I realized it was a spicy ramen shop, and I started to panic. Although I had once eaten a 25x spicy ramen at a famous restaurant in Miyazaki in the past, I wasn't particularly fond of spicy food, and back then, I had managed to finish it despite it being a reckless challenge. Soon, the dish arrived. Just like in the menu photo, it was full of vegetables and had plenty of red chili peppers on top. I had prepared myself for a level of spiciness that would make my eyes sting during cooking, but surprisingly, it wasn't as spicy as I had expected. It was a delicious soup ramen. I was happy with the abundance of vegetables. However, I ended up sweating profusely while finishing the meal in the cool restaurant. By the way, I heard that gyoza is half-price on Tuesday and Thursday nights, so I would like to visit again on those days. Apparently, the restaurant is famous for its curry, so I would like to try the Keema Curry Ramen next time.
