It's been a while since I had yakiniku, so I decided to go to the nearby "Ondoru"! I didn't know this, but there are 3 "Ondoru" stores in Kokurakita Ward. Making good money, huh. Now, the interior of the Uomachi store looks quite nice. When you open the door and enter, you see beef on the left. Mooo~. As you proceed, there are counter seats, and I thought it might be unsettling as customers pass behind you, but we were led to a private room. Really? You can use a private room without a reservation? That's kind of nice (*´꒳`*) They had a nice selection of soft drinks like blended tea and black oolong tea, and I was satisfied. I left the meat selection to my senior and checked out the dessert options. Once we placed our orders, the meats started arriving one by one... but it's not like they all arrived at once, more like shortly before we finished eating. Even if they all arrived at once, there was plenty of space on the table. The meats were all delicious in general, nothing particularly noteworthy. My senior always recommends the thick-cut tongue, but I prefer the non-thick-cut tongue. That unique crispy texture, the negi shio tan is the best. One thing I highly recommend is the "sukishabu". Dip the meat in the sauce, grill both sides like shabu-shabu, then dip it in beaten raw egg! It's a combination of sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, and yakiniku. The meat is incredibly tender. The richness of the sauce may vary depending on taste, but it's delicious with a standard richness for Kanto people. Sukishabu is great! Looking at it the other way, apart from that, there's not much difference in meat quality compared to other similar restaurants, so don't be fooled by the atmosphere! There are some points that are not worth getting your hopes up for, as the rating was over 3.5. If you don't have high expectations from the start, you can just end with "it was delicious", but if you read my review and went there, you might be disappointed with the score I give. Therefore, it's a 3.3. I've never been one to flatter. One thing that bothered me in terms of service was that they didn't come when I pressed the chime. The drinks we ordered also didn't arrive. We were kept waiting. Even after waiting for more than 5 minutes after calling, they didn't come, so we had to press the chime again to call them, or after waiting for 10 minutes for the drink we ordered, they still didn't come, and it seemed like they forgot. Probably, the number of staff doesn't match the level of business. The part-time staff looked busy to the point that it seemed pitiful. If the number of part-time staff is enough, then there are people who are not working well. Even if the taste is average, if the service is lacking, it will ultimately lower customer satisfaction, so if you're going to charge a decent price, it might be better to increase the number of staff.
