The other day, I visited Daiwa Sushi after making a reservation on Tabelog and had a great experience, so this time I decided to try a seafood bowl at Toyosu Market. Personally, I recommend taking the Toei bus from Shinbashi Station to Toyosu Market rather than the Yurikamome. Daiwa Sushi is located in the vegetable building, while this place, Sushisei, is in the fish intermediate wholesale market building across the street. Sushisei, another popular spot like Daiwa Sushi, is located right near this restaurant. Sushisei is so popular that you need a reservation to get in, and even though it was only 8:30 in the morning, there were people who were turned away due to being fully booked. Since I didn't make a reservation this time, I decided to have a seafood bowl here. There were so many options to choose from, and apparently there can be long lines during lunchtime, but luckily there were empty seats at 8:30 in the morning. I was torn on what to order, but ended up getting the Seared Trio Deluxe Fish Bowl, which was overflowing with toppings. The counter seats at the restaurant quickly filled up. The bowl was served relatively quickly, and the fish was definitely fresh. It included tuna, salmon, yellowtail, salmon roe, and sea urchin. The seared fish, which was the main highlight, included blackthroat seaperch, golden eye snapper, and medium fatty tuna. They were all delicious. I felt satisfied with the quality and the convenience of cashless payment options, but the prices were quite high, probably due to the location within the market.
