Visited the Toyosu Market around 1 pm on a weekday. There were 15 people in line, and I waited for about 15 minutes. I was asked for my order in advance and given a number tag. It's a counter-only shop, so once you sit down, your order comes out quickly and you can eat right away. I tried the seafood bowl with soup for 2,400 yen (tax included). The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the rice was tasty as well. It was quite filling, and I left feeling satisfied. However, when I tried pouring the soup over the leftover sashimi and rice, the fishy smell bothered me and I couldn't finish it, which was disappointing.

Visited for the first time in July. There were many seafood shops in the market, but I chose this one because of its reasonable prices and popularity. The interior of the shop was small with only 7-8 counter seats, but it was bright and clean. I visited around 10:00 am on a Saturday, and as expected at Toyosu Market, there was a long line in front of the shop. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I finally got a seat. I ordered the "Seared Premium Blackthroat Seaperch Bowl" (¥3,000). The seared blackthroat seaperch was really delicious! The bowl was satisfying enough with just that. The other seafood was fresh, and I could feel the blessings of Tokyo Bay. The miso soup was also excellent. The menu is so extensive that I would like to visit again and try something else. It was a moment that made me want to come back.

I met my cousin who I've been relying on a lot and had seafood bowls while running errands. After waiting in line for about 40 minutes, we enjoyed the sea urchin bowl and scallop bowl. Of course, it was delicious. The seafood bowl was good, but I was really impressed by the miso soup with seaweed.

- Price: Otoro (fatty tuna) rice bowl for 3000 yen, scallop rice bowl for 2700 yen - Review: I followed the recommended way of eating, pouring soy sauce mixed with wasabi on half of the rice bowl and eating the other half with broth. The seafood was fresh, sweet, and delicious, and the crunchy cucumber and onion added a nice touch. The miso soup with seaweed and tofu was also delicious with a flavorful broth. It was worth the 1 hour and 20-minute wait.

Today, my wife and I had a day off so we decided to go to Toyosu Market. It was our first time visiting Toyosu Market. The restaurant area in the market is divided into different sections, making it easy to get lost. There are famous tonkatsu restaurants like Yachiyo and Odacho, but since I am on a diet, I decided to try a seafood bowl at Dai-Edo. While waiting in line, we were handed the menu. I ordered the scallop bowl and my wife ordered the raw shrimp bowl. The staff started preparing our orders as soon as we paid, and our bowls arrived quickly after we sat down. The scallop bowl was served in a small bowl with a mountain of toppings including salmon roe, tuna, sea bream, yellowtail, salmon, and herring roe, and it was delicious. Additionally, being able to enjoy ochazuke with seafood broth halfway through the meal was a nice touch.

This Friday's brunch is here. Located on the 3rd floor of the seafood wholesale building at Tsukiji Market, this place serves seafood bowls alongside sushi restaurants. My wife and I took some time off and visited. We have visited Tsukiji Market several times in the past. Foreign tourists are starting to come back, and popular sushi restaurants like Sushidai had already stopped taking orders early in the morning. On the other hand, Oedo here did not have a long line, and there were empty seats when we arrived, so my wife and I were seated. It is a simple counter facing the aisle, so there is no confusion. The menu has a variety of options, with toppings available, but the default prices range from around 2,000 to 3,000 yen. You can add toppings like sea urchin and salmon roe according to your budget. This time, we had the fisherman's bowl with added sea urchin and salmon roe. The bowl may look small, but it is surprisingly voluminous with a manga-like abundance. The fresh fish was never boring, but we ended up feeling fuller than expected. To be honest, it's hard to judge whether it's cheap or expensive. This is because the sea urchin and salmon roe, which are easy to understand in terms of taste, did not have a sense of luxury. My wife, who had the tuna bowl, said, "It was delicious," and was satisfied.

The first time at Toyosu Market. Feeling like seafood, but there are too many shops to choose from. Attracted by the sign "Hamidashi Seafood," I lined up at the end. It was a 4-person wait at 12:00 on a weekday. They took our order while we were waiting in line, so we were served almost as soon as we sat down. The overflowing seafood in a small bowl was delicious when dipped in soy sauce! The main dish is tuna, but the sand lance is also good. I thought there was not enough rice, but it was packed tightly, so it was quite filling. The overflowing seafood looks impressive, but it's a bit challenging to eat. Nevertheless, the taste is excellent! Thank you for the meal.

I went to the seafood bowl restaurant "Oedo" in Toyosu Market alone around 11:30 on Saturday. This restaurant, which was established in 1910, has been a long-established store since the fish market days in Nihonbashi before Tsukiji and now in Toyosu. As expected, there was a long line of people waiting, and I lined up at the end on the right side of the store. The menu includes a large seafood bowl, a "Taiyo Don" with large slices of fish, and a "Luxury Fisherman's Meal" with a variety of small slices of fish. You can also add various toppings to your liking. I chose the "Luxury Fisherman's Meal" with 15 types of toppings, which was a great choice. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I finally got a seat and was served the meal. The seafood bowl was delicious with fresh and generous toppings. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was bright and clean, and the service was excellent. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and I highly recommend Oedo for a delicious seafood bowl.

I usually go to Tsukiji often, and this was my first time trying out Toyosu. Toyosu has new and clean buildings and shops, but there are fewer shops compared to Tsukiji, and the lively atmosphere was missing. I realized that I prefer the charm and liveliness of Tsukiji. I ordered a special mixed seafood bowl to enjoy various types of sashimi, and it was delicious with all my favorite toppings. The crab was made with high-quality snow crab meat, but I was a bit disappointed to find out it was frozen. They had three different types of soy sauce, including regular and kombu-infused soy sauce, but none of them stood out as particularly delicious, leaving me a bit lost on which one to use. It made me realize the importance of soy sauce. Considering the rent in Tokyo, I think the cost performance is reasonable. Thank you for reading today♪

I visited before 9 am on a Saturday morning. While popular shops in the area had lines, this place had no wait. It's easy to get a seat at the counter alone. I ordered a maguro (tuna) 4-piece bowl for 2400 yen, which came with miso soup. You can also choose a sweet soy sauce. The amount of maguro was decent and enjoyable, although it's not extremely delicious given the price. The sushi rice was slightly sour. It was a sufficient amount for one person. I wish there were some pickles or ginger for a little palate cleanser. Surprisingly, this place has good cashless payment options, which is convenient. Thank you for the meal.

Extreme Deluxe Seafood Bowl ¥2,700 When it was still in Tsukiji Inner Market, there were dozens of photos of various seafood bowls displayed in front of the shop, and I was overwhelmed. I had always wanted to visit the shop once. After moving to Toyosu, it is now located on the 6th block, 3rd floor of a building with a restaurant district atmosphere. Unlike the chaotic chaos of Tsukiji Inner Market, there is not a trace of it here. The shop has only about 10 counter seats facing the aisle. There are several menu options displayed in signage in front of the shop, now brighter and larger than before, but it is still difficult to understand which menu offers which type of seafood. I wanted to eat shrimp and crab, but I couldn't find them in other shops on this floor, only in this shop's "Extreme Deluxe Seafood Bowl." In addition to shrimp and crab claws, it includes salmon, yellowtail, red tuna, tuna belly, egg, salmon roe, minced tuna with green onions, and sea urchin. They provide two types of soy sauce, regular and sweet, for each piece of seafood. The white miso soup is topped with tofu and seaweed, giving it a sea flavor. It seems that you can also add extra seafood toppings, but I think it would be better if they allowed customers to create their own bowl with their preferred toppings from the start. The seafood is fresh and delicious, and I think it's reasonably priced, but each piece of seafood is only about 8mm thick, so it feels a bit unsatisfying. It's a shame that the excitement that would make you feel like the trip to Toyosu was worth it was missing.

Today, I came to Tsukiji Market for lunch. Seafood is best enjoyed at Tsukiji or Toyosu, where they handle fresh seafood. The prices may be a bit high, but you get what you pay for, or even more! Seafood just has a way of making people happy, doesn't it? I was torn between sushi and seafood bowl, but I chose the seafood bowl because there was still a place I wanted to visit. Plus, on weekdays, you can get a free extra serving of rice, so I couldn't resist getting the extra serving! It was so delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I visited Daiwa Sushi after making a reservation on Tabelog and had a great experience, so this time I decided to try a seafood bowl at Toyosu Market. Personally, I recommend taking the Toei bus from Shinbashi Station to Toyosu Market rather than the Yurikamome. Daiwa Sushi is located in the vegetable building, while this place, Sushisei, is in the fish intermediate wholesale market building across the street. Sushisei, another popular spot like Daiwa Sushi, is located right near this restaurant. Sushisei is so popular that you need a reservation to get in, and even though it was only 8:30 in the morning, there were people who were turned away due to being fully booked. Since I didn't make a reservation this time, I decided to have a seafood bowl here. There were so many options to choose from, and apparently there can be long lines during lunchtime, but luckily there were empty seats at 8:30 in the morning. I was torn on what to order, but ended up getting the Seared Trio Deluxe Fish Bowl, which was overflowing with toppings. The counter seats at the restaurant quickly filled up. The bowl was served relatively quickly, and the fish was definitely fresh. It included tuna, salmon, yellowtail, salmon roe, and sea urchin. The seared fish, which was the main highlight, included blackthroat seaperch, golden eye snapper, and medium fatty tuna. They were all delicious. I felt satisfied with the quality and the convenience of cashless payment options, but the prices were quite high, probably due to the location within the market.

I took a compensatory day off at the beginning of the year and visited this place. Personally, it was my first visit to Toyosu Market. I accidentally entered the wholesale area for vendors when I came by car, aiming for the "Fish Intermediate Wholesale Market Building," so finding my way to the 3rd-floor related dining area was difficult in the vast building. They are open from the morning, but since it was past the lunchtime on a weekday, it was not crowded. The menu offers a variety of choices, mainly tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, with multiple options for each. This time, I decided in advance to try the "C Nakaochi Don" with less rice. It comes with uni, ikura, negitoro, and medium fatty tuna on top of the rice bowl. It was satisfying to have plenty of all four toppings! It comes with wasabi and grated daikon, which you mix with soy sauce and sprinkle over the bowl. The freshness may vary depending on the time, but it had a slightly reserved freshness, especially the uni, which was stable and not the type that melts quickly. The appearance may not be vibrant, but the taste was excellent. In particular, the ikura and negitoro had a favorable texture and seasoning, and the uni was also delicious. The medium fatty tuna was thinly sliced and small, but it still had a rich flavor. Overall, it was delicious! There are various related dining establishments such as sushi restaurants, seafood bowl shops, and eel restaurants, but this place offers a wide range of options and is easy to understand. The salmon and fatty tuna also looked delicious, so I would like to try other menu items here. Thank you for the meal.

My husband and I had a day off during the week, so we decided to visit Toyosu Market! We arrived around 10:30 expecting long lines, but surprisingly it was not crowded. Maybe because it was a weekday? Or due to the current situation? We did some research on Tabelog and decided on this place. Although it's not cheap, the portions are generous and worth it. There are so many types of donburi to choose from that it's hard to decide. I had a flatfish assortment donburi, and my husband had a medium fatty tuna donburi. Both can be considered all-star donburi. The ingredients were plentiful, the sushi rice was not too vinegary, just right. Miso soup was included, and the dashi was flavorful. It was a luxurious lunch!

The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the seafood wholesale market building, about a 7-minute walk from Ichiba-mae Station. Due to the coronavirus, there were no people around, which made me a bit concerned. This is a long-established seafood bowl specialty store founded in 1910, with a history of 110 years. They offer over 40 types of seafood bowls made with fresh ingredients sourced from the market every morning. I ordered the C bowl (medium fatty tuna, negitoro, sea urchin, salmon roe) for 2,800 yen (tax included). While the freshness was good, the sea urchin was a bit disappointing for the price. It was delicious, but I felt the satisfaction was not worth the price. There were also some questionable aspects in terms of service. Maybe I should have gone to a sushi restaurant instead.笑 There was no line there.

Toyosu Market. Around 10 in the morning. It's too late for breakfast, too early for lunch. But even at this awkward time, popular restaurants still have lines. Some places may even be sold out by this time if they are super popular. This restaurant had a line, but luckily they weren't sold out. I waited for about 15 minutes and got a seat. They took our order while we were waiting in line, and our food was ready as soon as we sat down. It's great when a restaurant is efficient like that. I ordered the "Greedily 8-Point Bowl", I think that was the name. It cost 2800 yen including tax. The portion size was just right. Despite it being 10 in the morning, the portion size was appropriate. Everything was fresh, colorful, and had no fishy smell. The squid, minced tuna, medium fatty tuna, tuna, crab claw, sweet shrimp, scallop, egg, and flounder were all delicious. But the one that stood out the most was the sweet shrimp. It was thick, sweet, and absolutely delicious. When you come to Toyosu, it's worth paying a little extra for a meal like this!

Hello~♫ I went to Toyosu for the first time! After touring the market and getting hungry, I visited the famous Ooedo-san which always has a long line! I ordered a simple tuna bowl and the balance between the contents and the fatty tuna was excellent. If it was just fatty tuna, I would get tired of it haha. On top of the vinegar rice, there was a special white sesame-based sprinkle which was a really nice touch. It was a bit expensive at 3000 yen for breakfast, but it was definitely worth the price!
