The atmosphere is a mix of traditional and modern, making it feel new yet cozy. The course I had was simple but satisfying, with individual hot pots of Ishigaki beef (supposedly A4 grade), sashimi, fried dishes, and a delicious finish with soy milk udon. The private rooms allowed for a relaxed and leisurely dining experience, making it a great place to have a good conversation.

It's a sister store of Kitaoji-san's restaurant, which I have used for casual business meetings a few times. It seems to be a more casual version. The restaurant is new and stylish. This time, I chose the "Ishigaki beef dashi shabu kaiseki" when making a reservation. The main dish, the dashi shabu with marbled Ishigaki beef in a slightly thick broth, was delicious, especially when wrapped in thinly sliced onions. Other dishes were also good for the price. However, it was disappointing that it took almost 40 minutes from the udon for the finale to dessert to be served, even after prompting. The alcoholic beverages are not expensive, so I think it's a good stylish izakaya with private rooms, but it might be challenging for formal business entertainment due to the service and manners of the staff. It's a great time to visit a newly opened restaurant! I went on the last day of a 3-day weekend and it was not crowded. The service was attentive, the interior was chic and elegant, and since it's a private room, you can enjoy your meal even in the ongoing pandemic situation. The "Pumpkin Tofu with Sesame Cream" was amazing! It had a subtle pumpkin flavor, a firm tofu texture, and the sesame cream was rich but not heavy. The soft and juicy Wagyu beef udon that followed was refreshing, and they served just the right amount for one person. The dessert was Monaka, which was a hit with its ice cream filling. You can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and there are course options available for different occasions like entertaining guests or celebrating. I highly recommend it for those interested.

I used it for a reception. The entrance is impressive, the interior is new, and the private rooms are very spacious. The staff greet you in kimonos, so there is no cheap izakaya feel. The food is not bad, but even though they use high-quality ingredients, there seems to be a lack of originality. They also have sukiyaki, but the individual traditional fuel sukiyaki is a bit of a negative. However, having space and private rooms in Yaesu makes it a convenient place. I don't think I would use it for private occasions, but I found out they have a main branch in Shinjuku.
