These two dishes set the stage for enjoying the grilled chicken. The classic young chicken was tender with a sweet sauce that paired perfectly. And don't forget the secret garlic pepper seasoning - it's amazing! I also ordered the chicken liver, which was incredibly tasty. A new favorite for me was the chicken shoulder meat - tender and juicy with a slight chewiness that was just perfect. The chawanmushi was also full of umami, with a perfectly balanced broth. Every dish we ordered was spot on and delicious. We ordered six beers along with the food, and the total came to around 11,000 yen, which was quite reasonable considering how satisfying the meal was. We also bought some chicken rice seasoning, instant chicken soup, and chicken sauce to take home, as it has become a regular part of our routine now. The food was delicious, but unfortunately they didn't have my favorite dish of grilled chicken.

In simple terms, everything was just right. I understand the secret of its popularity, but I don't think it's worth waiting in such a long line.

It seems to have become quite a famous restaurant, as it was very crowded with reserved customers when I went for lunch. We had to wait for an hour and a half when we arrived. We managed to get a seat and ordered the classic fried rice, grilled chicken, and added the chicken neck. It was very delicious, but I felt that the excitement I had when I tried it in my younger days was greater. Maybe I'm getting older.
