The day before New Year's Eve, I stopped by! I got a flat baked Keema curry bread for myself and a Stollen for my family. I will present it on New Year's Day. It's a bit late from Christmas, but I love Stollen. I wanted to cut it thinly, but it was difficult. The overall appearance, covered in powdered sugar, looks like a salted piece of meat (^_^) I can smell cinnamon, even though it's not listed in the ingredients. The flavors of raisins and walnuts were particularly strong. I wanted to thank Petit Mech for all the help I received last year, from energy boosts during theater breaks to constant support. Thank you very much. I hope this year will allow for more enjoyable dining experiences! Thank you for the meal.

Today I went to Le Petit Mec Hibiya again. They had a chestnut Danish, so I tried that. I also bought a mixed sandwich, which included a cucumber and tuna sandwich, and an egg salad sandwich. The cucumber and tuna sandwich had a tuna mayo with cumin and crunchy cucumbers. The egg salad sandwich had a delicious egg salad made with boiled eggs. The chestnut Danish had chestnut cream and candied chestnuts inside. It was a tasty Danish where you could enjoy the texture of chestnuts and the chestnut cream. Under the chestnut cream, there was a raspberry sauce which added a nice touch of acidity. It was a delicious chestnut Danish that really captured the seasonal flavors.

I went to Le Petit Mec Hibiya, my go-to lunch spot. Today, I bought the coconut-flavored chicken thigh sandwich and fig tart. The chicken thigh sandwich is made with chicken thigh and lettuce sandwiched between ciabatta bread. The sweetness and acidity of the mayonnaise sauce accentuates the sandwich. It is light and very easy to eat. The fig tart has cut and compote figs on top. The sweet fig compote and crispy Danish pastry complement each other very well. You can enjoy the chewy texture of the fig seeds. Everything I tried was delicious at this bakery.

- Prosciutto ham bucket
- Walnut bread
- Choco mech
- Macadamia nuts and white chocolate brioche bread
My husband, who loves bread, prefers the bucket and walnut bread, while I prefer the choco mech and brioche. They were all really delicious! We want to try something different next time.

I fell asleep on the train and ended up getting off at Hibiya instead of my transfer station. Since I was already there, I decided to stop by Patisserie Petit Mec at Hibiya Shante. There were about 5 groups of people in line as it was just before lunchtime. The eat-in area was almost full. The Milk France for 270 yen had a nice weight to it. It had a chewy dough with a slightly crunchy texture from the sugar, filled with milk cream. The Roast Pork and Cream Cheese for 570 yen was also quite substantial. It had three thick slices of roast pork with a mild flavor, but satisfying to eat. The cream cheese was refreshing. Both items were a bit pricey, but they were worth it. Two pieces were enough to feel satisfied.

I finally got to visit a bakery I've always wanted to go to. When I arrived, there were about 10 groups of customers and the line was long.
- Roast beef and blue cheese sandwich: The combination of roast beef and blue cheese on hard bread was amazing. The roast beef had a slightly aged taste, which I really enjoyed. Maybe it was the blue cheese that made it so addictive.
- Banana and pecan nut tart: I love pecan nuts, so I really enjoyed this tart. The combination of banana, tart crust, and pecan nuts was perfect.
- I also had an iced coffee, and I think the total was around 1300 yen. There were so many other bread and pastries I wanted to try, so I definitely want to go back soon to try more.

Around 1 pm on a regular day, there was a line. Most people were getting takeout, but I was able to enjoy eating in a relaxed manner. I bought a ham and brie cheese sandwich and a keema curry bread. They were delicious! The sandwich was crispy and the brie cheese was melty, making me feel happy. The curry bread was a bit spicy, with a chewy texture and authentic keema flavor. Even though I just finished eating in, I'm tempted to buy more to take home. This popular shop truly lives up to its reputation.

Le Petit Mec, a popular restaurant listed in the Tabelog Top 100, is located on the first floor of Hibiya Chanter. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly when buying bread. However, if you want a seat inside to dine in, you may have to wait a bit longer. Some people linger even after finishing their food and coffee, so securing a table might take some time. The sandwiches and baguette sandwiches were delicious.

The first time I tried "Le Petit Mec" bread was during my student days in Kyoto. A bread-loving friend recommended it to me, and I have fond memories of visiting the shop (the bread was delicious). It was truly unexpected to see "Le Petit Mec" open in Tokyo and become so popular. Once again, I lined up and purchased various breads. My favorite is the "Olive and Cheese Baguette". Thank you for the meal.

This time, I bought a new chestnut and yuzu bread with a thick skin. It had plenty of chestnuts and bits of yuzu, and it was very delicious♪ Since it was the weekend, it took about 20 minutes until I finished shopping. The cakes available for dining in the store also looked delicious♪ Thank you very much.

203rd edition! The shop I was curious about ~ Le Petit Mec ~ [Purchased items] - Chestnut Danish (Imadegawa store) - Croissant (Imadegawa store) - Prosciutto baguette (Hibiya store) - Sansho pepper baguette (Hibiya store) - Shiso and bacon bread (Hibiya store) * The products available vary by store. A bakery that I had decided to visit when I went to Kyoto. I also visited the main store in Kyoto and the Hibiya store in Tokyo. The Imadegawa store of the main store has a lively interior, while the Hibiya store in Tokyo has a stylish atmosphere! Both stores have seating areas, so you can buy and eat inside the store. The bread from Le Petit Mec has a strong wheat flavor and aroma, and personally, I think the hard bread is especially delicious! There are many varieties of hard bread, and the Sansho pepper baguette I bought this time is super delicious. The Hibiya store always seems to have a line no matter when you go. Le Petit Mec, which is said to be the most French-like, is a must-try! If you are interested, please check it out! I went to Le Petit Mec Hibiya for lunch. It's been a while, but I bought a BLTE sandwich and a Croissant aux Amandes. The BLTE sandwich is made with whole grain bread, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and boiled egg, with mayonnaise sauce inside. It's a delicious sandwich with a nice tangy flavor. The ingredients and bread complement each other very well. The Croissant aux Amandes is a classic pastry in my book. It's a tasty pastry that combines sweet cookie and croissant, with the aroma and texture of almonds. Both the sandwich and croissant are really delicious.

Visited solo on a day off. Located a 3-4 minute walk from Yurakucho Station, on the 1st floor of Hibiya Chanter, this bakery has 9 locations in Kyoto, Tokyo, and Osaka. They serve French-style bread and sandwiches that capture the hearts of urban ladies. There is a spacious seating area available. Awarded as one of the top 100 bread shops from '19 to '22. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 1 pm. The seating area was full, so I joined the line of about 15 people in front of the showcase for face-to-face sales. The showcase displayed delicious baguettes, Danish pastries, and the chilled case had voluminous refrigerated sandwiches, with about 70 different products lined up. It's a difficult decision to make during the short time waiting in line (´^ω^`)w I went with my gut and chose Milk France, Croissant au Amande, and Potato Bread. The next morning, I shared them with my family. The Milk France, which the cute staff member emphasized that it didn't have raisins when I bought it, was delicious. The soft French bread dough had an elegant sweetness of milk cream. It was delicious even without raisins. The Potato Bread had a chewy and fluffy texture, with mashed potatoes kneaded into the dough. Among all the potato bread I've had, this was the softest. The Croissant au Amande was a croissant topped with plenty of almond chips and baked. It had a moist texture, and as you chewed, a rich, sweet juiciness oozed out, making it a substantial treat. Considering the location, getting three items for under 1000 yen is quite reasonable. It was a satisfying experience in many ways. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.

I stopped by a shop on the first floor of Hibiya Chanter that serves authentic French bread from Kyoto. I came here for breakfast before a movie, and this time I ordered the "Tomato and Hokkaido Mozzarella with Prosciutto (570 yen)" along with a "Cafe Latte (530 yen)". The Ciabatta bread had a fluffy and chewy texture, spread with olive oil and filled with tomato, Hokkaido Mozzarella, and prosciutto, creating a simple yet deliciously salty sandwich.

A must-visit bakery after watching a Takarazuka performance. Everything is delicious! Even though I usually prefer rice, I always feel compelled to buy something here, even if there's a line. Their baguettes never disappoint. I enjoy their Croissant Ozymandias as a sweet treat, although it is quite sweet (which I personally like), so those who prefer less sweetness should be cautious. My favorite is the seasonal Croissant Ozymandias with raspberry and pistachio. Although not shown in the photos, I also highly recommend the basil and bacon bread, as well as the mackerel sandwich - both of which I have repeatedly enjoyed! (I always end up eating them before I can take a photo). I'm looking forward to trying their sandwiches next time.

I felt like eating delicious bread, so I went to Puchi Meck♪♪ in Ginza, where there really aren't any delicious bakeries. There were about 10 people in line, but I managed to secure a seat and wait. During this waiting time, my eyes were wandering and I was indecisive about what to order. I tend to lean towards sandwiches with mackerel or ethnic flavors, but this time I wanted a baguette with shrimp and egg. I also got a croissant and a milk French bread. I always end up wanting everything, but I managed to stick to just three items this time, which I think shows I've grown up! For my drink, I chose iced tea, which I really like from Meck. As I bite into the pointed end of the baguette, I let out a sigh of relief. Delicious! I'm happy that I can finish this size of baguette in one go! Be careful when visiting Hibiya Shante, as there may be a crowd due to the Takarazuka show. The lineup changes depending on whether there is a Takarazuka show or not, so please be mindful of the timing.

I bought about 20 sandwiches and chocolate breads for takeout and enjoyed them at home. I was really impressed by how delicious the bread was even though it wasn't freshly made. The egg sandwich, in particular, was so tasty that I keep going back for more.

A valuable shop that is open for business from the morning. I had an eat-in only fresh banana and pecan nut tart with a cafe latte (+100 yen). The tart had plenty of pecan nuts on top and the crust was quite hard, making it a bit difficult to eat neatly. Considering the location, price, and taste, I think it's quite a good deal. The seating with a view outside also provided a nice sense of openness. When I got home and tried the scones, they were also delicious. The strong texture of the crust was to my liking.

On Saturday and Sunday, I visited a cafe before 9 am. The cafe was about 30% full when I arrived, but by 9:30 am, it was about 80% full. When I got there, there weren't many pastries available, so I bought a croissant and a croque monsieur. The sandwiches seemed to be well stocked. The croque monsieur, with cheese and white sauce, was especially delicious. In the cafe space, there was a toaster and water available for customers to use. For dine-in customers, it seems that you are supposed to reserve a seat with a reservation card before placing your order. It might be a good idea to be cautious during busy times.

I purchased Carrot Râpé and Tuna Salad Sandwiches and Croissant à la Crème at Le Petit Merci Hibiya. The Carrot Râpé and Tuna Salad Sandwiches are made with a hard baguette filled with carrot râpé, tuna salad, and walnuts, creating a delicious combination. The crunchy carrot salad and tuna aroma make for a tasty sandwich. The Croissant à la Crème is a sweet croissant filled with custard and whipped cream, a delightful sweet treat. The combination of sweet cream and buttery croissant makes for a delicious croissant sandwich that will make you want to come back for more.

I had some errands in Ginza and was looking for a good place to kill time, so I checked out Tateru Yoshino Bakery after seeing it on Tabelog. It's located on the first floor of Hibiya Chanter, so it was easy to find! I quickly got in line and couldn't decide on which bread to get because they all looked delicious. In the end, I chose these 4 items to take home: Gouda cheese bread, walnut bread, potato bread. I was planning to have them for breakfast the next day, so I went for the savory options. I also ordered a hot tea to enjoy in the eat-in area, which was spacious and nice. I sat at the counter, where many people were eating alone, enjoying their bread as a dinner after work. When I tried the bread the next day, I found that they tasted even better when warmed up in the toaster! The potato bread was dense and chewy, providing a satisfying bite, and the three cheese bread had a strong cheese flavor that I enjoyed more than the Gota cheese bread (though Gota is also delicious!). The walnut bread was on the harder side among the ones I bought, offering a good crunch and a nice walnut flavor. The other bread options looked tempting too, and I can't wait to visit again! Next time, I want to try the sandwich bread in the eat-in area!笑
