After finishing work on a regular day, I visited the restaurant with a friend. We met at the transfer station on the way home. It was just before 7:00 pm when we arrived, so there were only a few customers at first. However, more and more customers started coming in afterwards. We ordered top-quality thick-cut tongue, select harami (marinated), sirloin yakiniku, wagyu beef ichi kalbi, sirloin (marinated), maruchou (intestines with sauce), seafood chijimi, vinegar motsu, Korean-style salad, tail soup, and stone bibimbap. We started with the vinegar motsu, which had a slightly sweet flavor and a nice texture. Even though I'm not a fan of vinegar, I found it very delicious. Next, we tried the Korean-style salad, which had a sweet dressing and a crunchy texture from the fresh vegetables. It was surprisingly fresh and tasty. Then, we had the seafood chijimi, which had a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. It was different from the usual chijimi, more like okonomiyaki, and very delicious. Now, it was time to grill the main meats. I took charge of grilling all the meats myself (laughs). First, we tried the top-quality thick-cut tongue, which was tender and perfectly seasoned. The thickness allowed for a slightly rare center even with a strong sear on the surface. It was incredibly tender and flavorful, a real treat! Next, we had the wagyu beef ichi kalbi, which had a good amount of marbling. We cooked it to a medium-rare and enjoyed its tenderness and flavor. It was truly delicious, perfect for the first half of the meal. Then, we tried the sirloin yakiniku, which was slightly thicker than regular yakiniku meat. We briefly grilled it and then dipped it in the egg yolk. The meat was coated in the yolk, melted in the mouth, and left a refined aftertaste. This dish would be irresistible to those who enjoy thin cuts of meat. Next up was the harami, which had a perfect thickness and was well-marinated. It had a rich flavor that changed my perception of harami. Following that, we tried the sirloin, which had a good balance of lean meat and marbling. It was surprisingly delicious, with a flavor that was between red meat and kalbi. It would be a great choice for those who are not fond of fatty meats. Finally, we had the maruchou, which was fatty as expected but incredibly satisfying. It had been a while since I had enjoyed maruchou, and this dish reminded me why I love it. For the finish, we ordered the beef tail soup and stone bibimbap. The beef tail soup had a rich broth and a light saltiness, making it a gentle and delicious dish. The tender tail meat melted in the mouth, leaving a sweet aftertaste. As for the stone bibimbap, it had the classic flavors and a fun texture from mixing all the ingredients. It was perfectly executed this time. It was a delightful experience to find this restaurant, which I had always passed by on the bus, thinking it might be a budget-friendly option. I realized that they serve delicious meats once I stepped inside. You really never know until you try it. I left feeling satisfied and happy to have found such a great restaurant. It was truly delicious! I will definitely be back. Bon appétit!
