Finally participated! I had been eagerly waiting for the dessert buffet event during the Obon week. A 5-month wait! So, first about the reservation. The buffet is held every month, but it is very popular, so they accept phone reservations for 5 months ahead on the reservation day of each month (if there is a cancellation just before the event, they may announce it on Instagram, so it is possible to pick up a cancellation). This time, the event was in August, so I made a reservation in March. Normally, the reservation day is the beginning of the month (1st), but since Tuesday is a regular holiday, the reservation day in March 2022 was on the 2nd (Wednesday). Reservation started at 9:00 AM! It's quite challenging to get through on the phone, so you need determination. The dessert buffet offers both lunch and dinner options, and this time I chose the lunch option. The dinner option has the same dessert varieties as lunch, but with additional light snacks. Lunch has two sessions, and the buffet table is beautifully reset for each session, so you can take photos of the famous beautiful buffet table without any missing items even during the 2nd session. This was perfect for someone like me who wanted to take pictures. I had been waiting for this! A dessert buffet with high expectations! Luckily, we were guided to a table by the window with a great view. I started with lunch♪ First, the appetizer "Salmon and barley rice salad" A summer-like salmon dish in a glass. The slight acidity and the texture of the barley were good. Next, the main course (shared between two) "Thick-cut bacon and onion cheese tomato pasta" Packed with diced bacon. The cheese was so stretchy. "Wagyu beef homemade bolognese meat doria -served with egg-" A hot and hearty dish! You break the soft-boiled egg in the middle. It goes well with the bolognese sauce! Both main courses were quite filling. ← I was already quite full at this point haha. After finishing the main courses, it was time for dessert♪ My companion suggested having dessert after the meal, so we decided to enjoy them separately. The buffet table was so stylish~ I had seen it a lot on Instagram, and now I finally saw the real thing! Cakes decorated with seasonal fruits like figs and grapes, glass desserts, baked goods. The lineup was well-balanced and constantly replenished, showing their experience in hosting such events. The MVP was the "Pudding" Even though there were many options, this one was really delicious. From the firm top layer to the creamy bottom layer, it was amazing! ===========
