When I returned to Tokyo Station, I decided to check out the Gransta underground shopping area, and I found a Gâteau Festa Harada shop near the north exit. This shop is an antenna shop for the famous confectionery maker from Gunma, Gâteau Festa Harada, and it also has a nice café area. What caught my attention was that you can easily buy all kinds of sweets individually. I decided to buy various types of sweets, and even with about 10 items, it cost less than 2000 yen. I tried their famous rusk, and it was delicious. Simple and delicious. My wife loves their dark chocolate rusk, so I'll make sure to buy plenty of that next time. It's a great idea to buy these as souvenirs when visiting other regions, not just when traveling to Tokyo. Highly recommended for when you're unsure what to get.

The flavors available are milk, matcha, and mix. I chose milk on this day. You purchase the item at a ticket machine in front of the booth. The staff will guide you. There are about 10 seats available, and you can also stand and eat. We had to wait for one group, but we were told we could stand and eat in the meantime, so we were able to eat right away. The milk soft serve had a rich and sweet flavor. It was delicious. There were crushed rusk pieces at the bottom, and eating them together with the soft serve was tasty.

This is a cafe located at the end of GRANSTA on the basement floor of Tokyo Station. I visited on a holiday at 3:00 PM and it was full, with only standing counters available. Before taking a seat, you need to purchase a ticket from the vending machine. I ordered a mix of matcha and vanilla soft serve for 400 yen, with an additional topping of sweet red bean paste for 60 yen. The soft serve comes with one piece of Harada's rusk. It is recommended to buy rusk from the store and then eat the soft serve with it, adding more rusk as you go. The soft serve with rusk topping is delicious.

This is a collaboration version with Sanrio's Kiki and Lala characters! I love Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala the most. I remember attending a signing event at a Sanrio store in the past, I think it was with Yamaguchi-sensei. I got their autograph. I also bought Gâteau Festa Harada's rusk during the ONE PIECE collaboration before, but unfortunately they didn't have the white chocolate flavor. The regular chocolate was good too, but I prefer the white chocolate one. The tin, packaging, and the paper inside are all Kiki and Lala themed. It really boosts my mood!

A perfect place for a break at Tokyo Station - the café is also great! I was feeling so hot and tired, my feet were hurting, and my eyes were dazzled by the hustle and bustle of Tokyo after a long time. I managed to slide into this café and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who made me feel good. I couldn't decide between an iced coffee and soft serve ice cream, but I chose the set because it was 50 yen cheaper. The soft serve ice cream was delicious, with a rich milk flavor. The accompanying rusk was also tasty. It was so good that I momentarily forgot about my fatigue. The iced coffee was okay, nothing special, but still refreshing. Normally, a coffee at Tokyo Station would cost 600 yen, but here, I got an iced coffee, soft serve ice cream, and Harada's rusk for 650 yen - a great deal. I regretted wearing sandals as I ate, but the rich milk flavor of the ice cream was very soothing. As I continued eating, I started feeling much better, as the cold from the ice cream helped me relax.

The restaurant was full, so I got a soft serve ice cream to go. It came with Harada's rusk, which made it taste even better! The flavor was rich and it was a great deal for 400 yen. The coffee jelly soft serve also looked really delicious.

It's been about a year since my last visit. It seems like this shop has become more well-known, as today the eat-in area was full and I had to wait a bit. I was finally seated and ordered a mix of matcha and milk soft serve. It cost 400 yen including tax. I later realized that I had ordered the exact same thing last year. My wife and I took a stroll around Yaechika and Gransta, and around 2:30 pm, we started to feel a little hungry. I remembered how delicious the coffee jelly parfait was from the summer limited menu here about a year ago, so this time I confirmed that they still had it and decided to choose the coffee jelly parfait & coffee set. The place was full, but we got a seat in about 5 minutes after purchasing the ticket from the machine. The parfait and coffee were brought to us promptly. The parfait was just as good as last year, with rich soft serve ice cream on top, a slightly bitter coffee jelly in the middle, and cookies (Gouté de Princesse) at the bottom. The ice coffee to drink after a bite of the soft serve was refreshing and satisfying. The set was just the right amount to fill our stomachs. If I have the chance again this summer, I would love to eat it again, but if not, I hope it will still be on the menu next year.

I had a caramel coffee float. I was surprised by the richness of the soft serve ice cream after taking one bite. I bought Goutte de Reine Tropical Mango and Goutte de Roi Fromage as souvenirs for my family during a business trip. The Tropical Mango has a rich mango cream sandwiched between the rusk layers, creating an artistic taste. The Fromage also has a strong cheese flavor and was very delicious. My family was delighted, and I, as a sweets lover, was proud.

When I stopped by after a long time, there was a long line, and I wondered what was going on. When I peeked in, I found out they were selling Sanrio cans. I didn't plan on buying any, but the cuteness was too much to resist, so I ended up lining up. They were so cute - Kerokerokeroppi can, Fromage, Maharaja, and Mango. There were also Maharaja (curry) and Mango flavors available, perfect for summer.

I had to give up before because the eat-in space was full. This time, I ended up waiting in line for about 15 minutes. I probably could have just stood at the counter. The highlight was the soft serve ice cream with rusk. I added red beans as an option. It was nice to have rusk crumbs in the soft serve. I think it's a good value for the money. Most of the store displays the products like other stores, but there is a corner that can be called a cafe or an eat-in corner, I'm not sure which is the correct term. There are 6 seats at a counter. You purchase a ticket from the vending machine, and when your order is ready, you pick it up at the self-service counter. Because of this setup, it's not really a place to relax and have a leisurely cafe experience. It's more of a quick break spot. On this day, I wanted to have some ice cream. It was around 10 in the morning, and I hadn't eaten breakfast, so I wanted something. But I didn't want a heavy meal. I chose the matcha and milk soft serve ice cream. The soft serve ice cream was delicious. The milk was gentle, and the matcha flavor was strong. Eating it with the rusk was even more delicious. It's a luxurious treat to have soft serve ice cream with the already delicious rusk. The soft serve ice cream is delicious, but it's a mystery whether this place falls under the cafe genre. I received the GOUTER de ROI Premium Gateau Rusk. The rusk is generously coated with rich chocolate, and it was as delicious as ever. It was decorated with gold leaf in the center of the snack, making it look elegant and luxurious.

Since Harada is the only place that sells individual macarons, I bought one of each to compare. I got the Framboise, Soleil, Premium, and White Chocolate flavors, but in the end, my favorite is still the White Chocolate one!! The first time I tried the White Chocolate macaron, it was so amazing... I haven't found anything that surpasses that yet.
