On the last day of our trip, we had lunch at a restaurant in Niigata called Unohama. I ordered the conger eel and tempura soba set, while my friend ordered a beer and grilled duck. We also ordered duck tempura to go. First, my friend's beer arrived with a salmon carpaccio-like appetizer. Then, the grilled duck arrived, with one side seared and the other side raw-looking, served with green onions and watercress. It was delicious. Next, my conger eel tempura soba arrived. The soba was the same as before, with warm dipping sauce, conger eel tempura, and mitsuba. It was served with white onions as a condiment. The additional dipping sauce was a nice touch. The tempura soaked up the sauce, making it even more flavorful. It was delicious. After finishing the meal, we were served soba-yu (hot soba water) to enjoy the remaining tempura sauce. Finally, we received our duck tempura to go and paid the bill. I would definitely come back here again.

This time, I had a soba set meal. The beer arrived first. The appetizer was octopus and mozuku seaweed. Then, four types of appetizers arrived: soba tofu, soba miso grilled, rolled omelette, grilled rice ball with soba, daikon salad with fried soba on top. The alcohol went well with the food. They mentioned that the soba will be served soon, which was nice. The soba noodles were thin and smooth, and I finished them all in one go. The soba soup was thick and cloudy, so it was delicious and I could drink all of it until the end. The staff were cheerful and attentive, and they even escorted me to the entrance when I left. It was a delicious meal today. Thank you very much.

I had plans to visit the restaurant in Ebisu-hama and went there alone. The restaurant was almost full, but there were seats available in the tatami room and at the counter. The parking lot in front of the store was full, even on a weekday around 2:00 PM. I ordered the tempura rice bowl set for lunch. The tempura was delicious, and mixing it with the rice made it even more enjoyable. The soba noodles had a smooth texture, and the dipping sauce was a bit strong but had a good balance. The daikon radish salad that came with the set was also delicious. Next time, I'm curious about trying the conger eel rice bowl. I changed my order from a small rice bowl to a tempura rice bowl, and the size was just right. For more details, you can check out the article on Yahoo News or search for trip camera on Yahoo.

(2023.07.27) Upon hearing about the reputation of the lunchtime specials, such as the "tempura rice bowl set" and the "conger eel tempura rice bowl set," being offered at a good value, I decided to visit "Handmade Soba Ichinoume" located in a corner of the apartment buildings near Minieki Niece Station. Anticipating a crowded lunchtime, I arrived just after the opening. The restaurant had 2 tables for 4 people, 1 table for 2 people, a 6-person counter, and 2 low tables for 4 people in a tatami room. With only 2 groups of customers ahead of me, I was able to secure one of the 4-person tables. The restaurant was not elaborately decorated, but you could see the dedication in details like the glass window separating the one-tatami noodle-making area from the seating area. I was torn between the conger eel tempura and the tempura, but the inclusion of scallops in the tempura convinced me to choose the "tempura rice bowl set." The dish was beautifully garnished with mitsuba and plenty of shimeji mushrooms, offering a generous portion. The tempura batter was crispy, and the prawns had a satisfying crunch, living up to the rumors of its excellence. Surprisingly, the bowl was not filled with white rice but with a flavorful mixed rice containing shiitake mushrooms and carrots, which complemented the dish perfectly. The half-sized zaru soba was firm and satisfying, and the spicy broth had a clean, Kanto-style spiciness. The daikon salad was not thinly sliced but cut into short strips, adding a nice texture. Overall, the meal was delightful, and even the fried buckwheat noodles topping added a fun crunch to the experience.

Today, I had work in the Nishi Ward. While driving, I passed by a shop and thought "Sobayan!" so I made a U-turn. I entered the shop a little after 1:30 pm. I looked at the menu and ordered the Jyuwari soba with a double portion. The staff were very polite and friendly. The prices are a bit high, with the Jyuwari soba costing 1,200 yen and the soba double costing 900 yen, totaling 2,100 yen. However, the soba was delicious! The Jyuwari soba was very fine and had a great aroma and texture. The salted soba was also tasty. The soba broth was rich and delicious too. Thank you for the meal. I would like to go again.

I arrived in the early afternoon. It was not crowded, maybe because of the rain. It was my first time here, so I ordered the lunch tempura bowl set (tempura bowl, daikon salad, half portion of soba) but changed the tempura bowl to a small size and upgraded the soba to a full portion. The soba was of the Sengoku variety, with a richly flavored dipping sauce that was just perfect and went down smoothly. The daikon salad had fried soba on top, adding a nice touch. It was perfect for a little break between bites. The bowl had rice with shrimp, enoki mushrooms, and trefoil tempura on top (crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside). The soba broth was cloudy (I personally like cloudy broth), and thanks to this broth, I enjoyed the soba dipping sauce until the very end. The tea served was buckwheat tea. I was extremely satisfied with the delicious soba after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

I finished eating the soba soup - for those who love soba, this is a must-visit! By the way, I went here during work in this area for lunch break. The customer service was very friendly and I felt refreshed. Of course, the soba was amazing - delicious! I even drank all the soba soup!

Hello everyone, what's up? It's MoriP, who loves exploring food in Fukuoka! Today, I visited "Teuchi Soba Ichinoume" and tried their tempura rice bowl set. The tempura bowl had a luxurious lineup of shrimp, scallop, shimeji mushrooms, and trefoil, all generously portioned and not skimping on ingredients. The tempura itself was huge, about the size of a fist and a half, with a crispy exterior and a slightly soft center. The rice in the tempura bowl was mixed with lots of ingredients, almost unbelievably so. While the mixed rice was delicious, I personally think plain white rice would have been better for the tempura bowl. The soba noodles were very thin and had a good texture. It might be a hit or miss depending on personal preference. Also, the soba tea was surprisingly tasty.

I decided to have soba for lunch and entered the restaurant. It was around 1:00 PM and the table seats were almost full. I was relieved to secure the last seat. They called their soba "seiro soba" instead of zaru soba. There were 3 types of soba, each with different amounts of soba flour and binder. This time, I decided to order the default seiro soba. Since I wanted to try their tempura, I chose the anago tempura set. First, a daikon salad (with fried soba on top), soba tofu, fried soba miso, rolled omelette, and grilled rice ball were served. When I tasted the fried soba miso, I felt like having some sake, but I resisted since it was lunchtime. The tempura and soba arrived. The anago tempura was very large and impressive. The skin was crispy and crunchy, just as I had hoped for. It was delicious dipped in the dipping sauce or the matcha salt. The soba was thin and had an elegant flavor, almost like it was made mostly of soba flour. The dipping sauce was slightly sweet. The freshly grated wasabi was aromatic and excellent. The soba was very tasty and made me want to eat more, but it also made me crave the tempura. The soba broth at the end was also delicious. However, I found out that additional dipping sauce would cost extra. Although the restaurant was listed as accepting credit cards on Gurunavi, unfortunately, they were not accepted. Only cash and PayPay were accepted. The staff seemed to be in training, but their service was polite and friendly, which I appreciated.

I was intrigued by the high ratings and decided to visit this place. With a wide variety of menu options, I was torn but since I love conger eel tempura, I chose the conger eel tempura soba. It took a bit of time to prepare after ordering, but when it arrived, I was amazed! The conger eel tempura was huge and impressive! It was beautifully shaped like a crescent moon, and the whole piece was fried perfectly. The soba noodles were quite thin, which I hadn't seen much before. I was excited to try them, and they turned out to be very cold and had a smooth texture, which was delightful! When dipped in the broth with the conger eel tempura, it was just heavenly. The broth had a hint of yuzu, followed by the rich flavor of the conger eel tempura-coated soba noodles. The conger eel was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and had no fishy taste. It was so satisfying due to its size. The restaurant is also known for its duck dishes, such as duck rice and duck soba, which I wanted to try, but I was already so full and satisfied (laughs). The soba broth was thick and had a rich soba flavor, which was delicious. I would love to try the duck dishes next time, as well as the conger eel tempura rice bowl set available only on weekdays. The soba noodles and conger eel tempura provided a fantastic dining experience at Handmade Soba Ichinoume.

I used it for the first time in a while. It's already a well-established place around here, isn't it? - Tempura rice bowl set (1,300 yen including tax). I was torn between the regular size and the small size, but I heard that for just a 100 yen difference, both the rice and tempura would be halved, so I chose this one. However, it was too much, so I should have gone with the small size. (*^_^;) * From the top... Soba noodles are served afterwards. - Tempura rice bowl... It contains shrimp, mitsuba, shimeji mushrooms, etc., and the batter is still a bit firm. Underneath, there is duck in the mixed rice. It is topped with a sweet sauce. - Daikon radish salad and soba tea. - The soba noodles are thin and have a smooth texture. I'm not sure about the regular portion, but the set seems to have a smaller amount. - The soba dipping sauce has a sharp taste that I like, but as usual, the amount is small. They later bring soba water, but there is hardly any sauce left. (*^_^; It had been a while, but the taste was consistent, and I was full. It's convenient to use casually, and it's handy around here.

The total was 1700 yen for a soba set and soba-yaki miso (450 yen). The soba set includes soba, duck rice, and salad. You can choose between zaru and bukkake soba. Each dish is high quality, and the salad is delicious. The soba-yaki miso is a dish where miso and soba are mixed in equal amounts and spread thinly on a wooden spatula, then grilled. It would make a great side dish with alcohol. There are many other unique menu items that I would like to try as well.

The Edo-style hand-made soba at Ichinoume Hand-made Soba in Azumahama is delicious with a good texture! The set meal comes with tempura on top of mixed rice, topped with a unique dashi sauce. The food is delicious, but what stands out even more is the excellent service from the staff, making it a very pleasant dining experience!

【2021.06.14】Today, it's lunchtime on the go again. I was initially thinking of Italian, but unfortunately, it's closed today. That's the way of working reform. Oh well. While walking and thinking, my eyes caught the sign for soba (buckwheat noodles). Decision made instantly. I love soba. It's been about 2 years since my first visit. Not only the soba itself, but I was also impressed by the wonderful staff. Today is lunchtime, so I chose the affordable lunch set: - Kakiage-don set: A kakiage-don (tempura rice bowl) with shrimp, scallop, shimeji mushrooms, and trefoil. The tempura is so crispy and delicious, with a rich sauce that even flavors the rice. - Daikon salad: Refreshing palate cleanser. - Seiro: Half-sized thin soba noodles. I was surprised by how thin they were last time too. Should I start with the tempura or the soba? Oh well, I'll just eat whichever I feel like. Alternating between tempura and soba. After finishing, I chatted with the staff and found out the owner was serving us. I expressed my gratitude for the amazing experience 2 years ago and the delicious meal today before leaving the restaurant, promising to come back again.

While looking for lunch around Minamihama Station, I stumbled upon a soba restaurant located behind the building in front of the south exit. I entered just before the lunch rush and the restaurant was almost full, but I managed to get a seat! The restaurant has tatami seating on the right side and table seating in the front, with the kitchen at the back and a room for soba making on the right side. The menu consists of three types of soba: Seiro Soba (5%-8% buckwheat flour), Inaka Aragoshi Jyuwari Seiro (100% buckwheat flour), and Sarashina Soba (8 parts buckwheat flour, 2 parts binder). They also offer two-tone soba and a soba sampler with three types. Additionally, there are dishes like Zao Jidori duck, seasonal tempura, soba noodles, and grilled dishes. I was intrigued by the donburi sets, but I wanted to enjoy the soba comparison, so I ordered the "Two-Tone Soba Inaka & Sarashina" for 1250 yen. After a short wait, it arrived. I was surprised by how thin the noodles were! The condiments included wasabi, green onions, grated daikon radish, and salt. I nervously tried the soba with salt for the first time. The Sarashina had a gentle flavor despite its ultra-fine appearance, while the Inaka had a robust flavor. I may not know much about soba, but I feel like I've become a man who can appreciate the differences! The staff was also wonderful, providing explanations on how to eat soba and offering refills of tea. Their proactive and kind demeanor left a positive impression. I'd like to study and try more soba varieties before visiting again. Thank you for the meal!

White fish tempura and soba set for 1800 yen. The timing of the dish was perfect. I wanted to try something seasonal, so I ordered the white fish tempura set. The white fish tempura was bigger than I expected! It was crispy on the outside and the fish was soft and delicious. The soba noodles didn't have as much aroma as I had hoped, but they were still tasty as it was a hot day and the cold soba was refreshing. However, the service was quite slow, so I wouldn't recommend going when you're really hungry.

The restaurant is located behind the building in front of the Minami-hama Station South Exit of the Airport Line subway. Inside the restaurant, there are chair seats, a soba noodle making room on the right, and a kitchen in the back. They offer three types of soba noodles: seiro, inaka, and sarashina. I ordered a combination of seiro and inaka soba noodles with duck broth. The soba noodles were thin and had good water drainage, with no noticeable uneven cuts or scraps. The taste and aroma of the soba noodles were present but not outstanding. The condiment provided was green onions. The dipping sauce included duck meat, tsukune (chicken meatballs), green onions, and mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley). The duck meat was from Zao ducks, and it was consistently delicious. The soba broth was thick and had a good flavor, but it was not exceptional. It seems that there is also a restaurant in Hakata that is part of the Issa-an soba noodle chain, indicating that this chain was once very popular. Overall, the quality of the soba noodles was above average for a local soba restaurant.

I came to Ebisu Station after a long time and couldn't find a restaurant to eat at. Then I found a soba restaurant. I ordered the kakiage seiro and it arrived in about 10 minutes. I took a bite of the soba. Delicious!!! I took a bite of the kakiage. Delicious!!! It was full of ingredients like shrimp, scallops, and shimeji mushrooms, very satisfying. Finally, I had some soba broth and finished the meal. Thank you for the meal.

I went for lunch at a popular soba restaurant just a few minutes' walk from Ebisucho Station. I tried the kakiage-don set for 1200 yen from the lunch menu. The kakiage included shrimp, scallops, and shimeji mushrooms, and was quite substantial. It also came with half a portion of soba noodles and daikon salad. The soba had a fragrant aroma that was enjoyable. The kakiage-don had a strong shimeji mushroom flavor but was very filling. It was interesting that it came with a sweet thick sauce and mixed rice instead of white rice. The energetic calls from the head chef and the servers were memorable.

I'm feeling really hungry (-_-;)... I want to eat anything (laughs) but I feel like having soba after a long timeヾ(˙❥˙)ノ so I decided to come here ( ꈍᴗꈍ) I arrived right before the opening★ What should I order? I don't usually hesitate, so I always decide quickly!! (≧▽≦) I ordered the anago tempura set♪ My friend ordered a set with three different types of soba and duck tataki (a single item). I'll wait with a bottle of beer (laughs) ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧ The appetizers are edamame and kombu seaweed salad★ They are light and perfect as summer snacks♪ When you order a set, it seems like a course meal!! The first dishes are soba tofu, roasted soba seeds with miso, rolled omelette, and grilled duck onigiri (rice ball) (☆▽☆) They are all delicious, but the rolled omelette was different from what I expected... (;^ω^) The duck tataki, I'm not a big fan of it, but when I ate the edges with lots of wasabi, it was like "Wow" (≧Д≦) in a good way (laughs)★ The soba and anago tempura have arrived!! (✿^‿^) The anago tempura is crispy, no fishy smell, and fluffy, enjoyed with matcha salt♡(> ਊ <)♡ Amazing♪ The soba noodles are the thinnest I've ever seen(´⊙ω⊙`)! I wonder how they cut them? I'd like to see that (~ ̄³ ̄)~ Even though they are thin, they still have a strong soba flavor (♡ω♡ ) ~♪ The soba tasting set has arrived too!! The shirasu soba (white one) has a gentle flavor and feels a bit lacking for me (。•́︿•̀。) The inaka soba is thicker and has a bumpy texture♪ Overall, it has become my favorite restaurant (ʃƪ^3^) I'm looking forward to what I'll eat next(人*´∀`)。*゚Thank you for the meal(*˘︶˘*).。*♡

In front of Meinohama Station in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, there is a soba restaurant called "Teuchi Soba Ichinoume". It has been a while since I last visited this place, but I remember having a good impression when it first opened. This time, I ordered the Soba-Samai set (1650 yen) which includes three types of soba: Seiro Soba for 850 yen, Country Coarse-ground Whole Wheat Seiro Soba for 950 yen, and Sarashina Soba for 1050 yen. The first serving was a small seiro filled with soba. It seemed to be the Seiro Soba, although last time I ordered the Soba-Samai set, the first serving was Sarashina Soba. The soba was extremely thin, almost like "ultra-thin", which I found impressive but personally not my favorite as it felt too slimy. However, it had a firm texture and a good flavor. The second serving was also a small portion of Sarashina Soba, which had a delicate texture that easily fell apart. Although the flavor was subtle, the chewy texture was excellent. The last serving was the Country Coarse-ground Whole Wheat Seiro Soba, which had a generous portion. It was not as thin as the previous ones and had a strong flavor and a solid connection despite being whole wheat. The broth was a spicy Kanto-style sauce with a strong bonito flavor, and the grated wasabi added a sharp and fragrant touch. Overall, all the soba was delicious, but the Country Coarse-ground Whole Wheat Seiro Soba stood out as the best. I highly recommend it. Next time, I might try the Soba Gozen set (1300 yen) which includes soba tofu, soba yaki miso, tamagoyaki, duck yaki onigiri, and salad, or maybe the weekday lunch limited Kakiage Don set (1150 yen) which also looks tempting.
