食べみんみん
"I want to eat monjayaki." Daughter's friend: "If it's monjayaki, I want to go to Tsukishima!" So, on a holiday afternoon, we headed to Monja Street for the first time. However, when we visited the top-ranked restaurants on Tabelog, there were lines of over 20 people... What should we do? Where should we go? After some thought, I realized that since the ingredients are mostly the same, the taste may not vary that much, right? So, why not go to a place where we can sit right away? That's when we found this restaurant. We were seated immediately without any wait. They requested that we order at least 2 items, so we started with the "Mentaiko Mochi Cheese." My daughter and her friend were excitedly chatting. There were many young, good-looking male staff members. The service was polite, and they offered to make it for us, but my daughter and her friend decided to make it themselves. When we tried it, it was fragrant, chewy, and delicious. It was really good, but do the restaurants with long lines surpass this? I wondered as we quickly finished it. Next, we ordered the "Gyusuji Tempura" from the okonomiyaki section. It had large chunks of meat that made us wonder if it was really gyusuji (beef tendon). Although it looked small, by the time we finished eating, we were already full! After all, it's made with rice cakes and flour, right? If it was just monjayaki, we could have probably had three servings, right?"
