After the customer left, I visited the company for a meeting with colleagues. I have been to Lion a few times at other locations. It's been about 5 years since my last visit. I ordered chorizo, diced steak, and German potatoes with Hokkaido potatoes. The chorizo had a strong meaty texture. The diced steak was okay, nothing special. The German potatoes had a pleasant sweetness from the potatoes and surprisingly delicious. The texture was fluffy and the seasoning was well-balanced.

I hadn't decided where to have lunch, and I happened to go to Lion. It is famous as a beer hall, but the lunch is also delicious. You order using a tablet, which is very convenient. I ordered the Omurice with Hayashi sauce. It arrived in about 7 minutes after ordering. It's a classic Omurice with a creamy omelette and Hayashi sauce. The Chicken Rice has few ingredients and a simple taste. The buttery, creamy omelette and rich Hayashi sauce match perfectly. It's a very delicious Omurice. I felt like I wanted to come back to Lion for lunch again!

It was hot and I felt like having a light beer, so I decided to enter the restaurant. I have been to Ginza Lion in Shibuya and Shinbashi before, but this was my first visit to this location. I started by ordering a draft Ebisu beer. The glass wasn't chilled, but the beer itself was cold and delicious. I had five glasses of beer along with some edamame, french fries, and sausage. Drinking beer at a beer hall run by a beer company is a good experience when you feel like having a beer. Lately, I have been frequenting craft beer shops, but I would love to visit this place again when I crave a draft beer.

I wanted to drink something, so I ordered on an iPad at Lion. I got premium black label Ebisu beer, green tea highball x2, edamame, oven-baked cheese with vegetables, two types of sausages, and tongue. The place was full of office workers in suits, but it was quite calm since there were no students. The food came out quickly, and the restroom was just outside the store. There was a smoking booth inside the store. Overall, it was good! The plate on which the tongue was served seemed to be not very hot, but my friend poured green onion sauce on it and it was delicious. The food was tasty despite coming out quickly, and the beer was especially good.

I visited Ginza Lion in Otemachi Building after a long time. Sometimes I feel like having Western-style snacks at a beer hall rather than going to izakaya or yakitori places. Ginza Lion is an easy and casual place to visit for that. I enjoyed Sapporo Black Label draft beer and a strong lemon sour with various snacks. Smoked salmon for 880 yen, Japanese-style salad with prosciutto and daikon for 1,012 yen, Beer Hall sausage for 550 yen, 6-cheese snack pizza for 980 yen, and stir-fried spaghetti Napolitan for 1,100 yen. The 6-cheese snack pizza was especially delicious. I've been hooked on drizzling honey over the cheese pizza lately. The crispy crust and cheese on the outside were fragrant and tasty.

We used it for a company drinking party. The drink service is fast!!! It was very helpful. The store in Otemachi is often crowded and hard to get in, but this store is relatively spacious and not too crowded, so we were able to get in even on the day of. The prices are a bit high, but I think it's good when you can't be picky.

I had only been to this place in Otemachi for lunch, but when it comes to Lion, I associate it with drinking at night. When the number of COVID-19 cases started to decrease, I went with a group of about ten people for a drinking party. It has a strong impression of being a place for middle-aged men to drink, but the food lineup was surprisingly stylish. It was quite a while after I went that I looked at the photos and thought, "Huh? I haven't posted about this place, where could it be?" and ended up searching for Italian restaurants and Spanish bars. In particular, the prosciutto and mussels were perfect with beer or wine. I wonder how many glasses I had. By the way, when you order a course meal, you can choose to have all-you-can-drink. Definitely go for the all-you-can-drink option here.

The all-you-can-drink plan was 5000 yen and the place was full. They served a large jug of beer first. The fried chicken, sausage, potatoes, pizza, and beer were all great choices that went well together. It was disappointing that there was no announcement when last orders were being taken, and when I mentioned it to a female staff member, she didn't accept it.

I have visited this restaurant for the first time and have been back with colleagues or alone a few times since then. What amazes me is that no matter how many times I go, the daily lunch specials never repeat. They offer a variety of options like hamburgers, fried dishes, and others, so the combinations are quite diverse. I have added two additional photos of different daily lunch specials for reference.

I visited Ginza Lion today in search of the occasional craving for five-ingredient sauce yakisoba. It contains plenty of ingredients such as Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts, chingensai, and wood ear mushrooms, as well as seafood ingredients like squid, shrimp, and clams. The pickled ginger and spicy red pepper paste are delightful! I love to drizzle plenty of vinegar over it in the second half.

This was my first time visiting this place other than just for drinks. I was brought here by my former boss who said the lunch menu was great. I was impressed by the variety of options, but ended up choosing the daily lunch special for exactly 1000 yen. It was a great deal considering the location. I had pork sauté and a curry-flavored gratin, served with salad and a Japanese-style pasta. The pork sauté was satisfyingly filling and the gratin was of high quality. I wish I could find someone who could make gratin like this for me. Or maybe I should try making it myself. I can't go wrong with this place. It was delicious.

Today's daily lunch special was "Hamburger Tomato Cheese Roll & Shrimp Fry & Squid Fry." It felt like a kids' meal with the hamburger, shrimp fry, and squid fry all together. The cheese and spinach surrounding the hamburger were also very delicious. Lion's ordering system has changed to self-ordering on iPads, which feels a bit lonely. I used to enjoy being served by formally dressed waitstaff. I guess it's all about efficiency. I wonder if I'll get used to it eventually.

Today's daily special was tempting, but I decided to go with the Turkish rice fair. It was like a children's lunch with various dishes on one plate. I was happy to be able to mix and match the side dishes and sauces. I chose garlic pilaf, fried items, and meat sauce. It's true that this wasn't a large portion. I felt like it wasn't enough, but there were no suitable additional menu items, so I had to make do. The food was quite ordinary, and the pilaf was actually less than what was shown in the picture. The quantity was definitely lacking. I could have eaten another plate... The restaurant was bustling with a line outside, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. I left feeling far from full. Thank you for the meal.

On a regular day at 2:40 pm, there were only 2-3 customers in the restaurant. We were seated right away and ordered the large portion of ankake yakisoba. Despite the place being empty, it took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. Slow service. The dish had a salty taste, unlike the menu photo which showed a soy sauce-like color and flavor. I believe they try not to overcook the vegetables, but there were quite a few tough cabbage cores in the dish. It was really crunchy. There must be a manual specifying cooking times, but they should pay more attention and make improvements.

I visited a restaurant in Otemachi looking for unvisited places. The interior of the restaurant was comfortable with spacious seating arrangements. I ordered the Chicken Cutlet Curry from the Curry Fair menu, which was served promptly. The curry was mildly spicy with a thin consistency and the rice was decent. However, the portion of curry was small and the temperature was a bit lukewarm. The facility and service were excellent, but the food quality could be improved. Overall, the experience was pleasant but the price of 990 yen might be a bit high for the quality of the food. I would rate it 3 out of 5.

Today I had meat spaghetti and pork cutlet. You can choose between rice, bread, or salad, and I chose salad to watch my calorie intake. The large bowl of salad was delightful. The nostalgic taste of the meat sauce, thick noodles, and perfectly cooked cutlet satisfied my appetite. A cup of black coffee after the meal helped to clear my stomach. All for ¥1090!

It's been a while since I visited Ginza Lion. I splurged on a delicious lunch with black Angus beef steak, original hamburger, and shrimp fry. It satisfied my appetite. I savored the aftertaste while drinking coffee after the meal.

There are several Lion restaurants near Otemachi, but some of them have sloppy cooking and overall low ratings. Today, I visited the Lion in Otemachi Building after a long time for the Goto campaign. The evaluation has gone up. The menu now includes more dishes that appeal to men, and the daily plate I ordered today had a variety of side dishes such as hamburger, fried squid, and skewered cutlets, all of which were delicious. The restaurant has evolved and improved its taste. I appreciate their efforts.

While commuting to work, I tried to order spaghetti from the neighboring restaurant, but they only offered takeout, which left me disappointed. However, when I looked up with a sigh, I found this place instead. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. I was a bit taken aback when they measured my temperature at the entrance. It's quite common these days, but having a thermometer pointed at your forehead can be a bit off-putting, right? It's all about consideration, I suppose. These little things always catch my attention. My stomach was craving spaghetti, so I didn't hesitate to order the Napoli-style spaghetti in a large portion from the lunch menu. I was very satisfied with my meal. I was torn between the neighboring restaurant and this one, but I think I made the right choice in the end.

Year-end party with all-you-can-eat and drink course in a large private room. Lion's specialty dishes like herring and duck for appetizers, paired with beer. Pitchers lined up, toasting and cheers fill the air. A true beer hall party. Portion sizes are not too big, reflecting the trend of eating less these days. Cutlets, monkfish tempura, salad with prosciutto, and an oyster gratin with cheese and tomato. The seafood doria for the final rice dish is on the smaller side, but I still couldn't finish it all...

"Having a history spanning over a century since 1899, Ginza Lion offers a calm atmosphere for enjoying a meal. I tried the 'daily lunch special' available on weekdays, which included hamburger and miso-flavored pork. The pork could have been a bit thicker, but considering it's a lunch set, it's understandable. The menu was satisfying and went well with the rice."
