I wanted to go to a certain motsunabe restaurant, but they turned away solo customers (angry). I searched on Tabelog and found a good place to try! So I came here. The 1st floor is for payment and reception, and you are guided to the 2nd floor. The floor is quite spacious, and since it was around 5 pm, there were not many customers. They have the option to order motsunabe for one person, and a variety of half-size dishes, making it a great service for solo diners! I started with motsunabe, vinegar motsu, and shochu. The motsu, cooked with vegetables, became tender and went perfectly with the alcohol! I also added the half-size ingredients (tofu and gyoza) for solo diners, and at the end, they stir-fried the half chanpon noodles until the soup dried up, like a stir-fry. It was so delicious! It was the day before Oiyama Gasa festival, and I saw a group of people running outside, which was interesting. I enjoyed the food, drinks, and the affordable price of less than 3000 yen. I was very satisfied with my solo motsunabe experience! I would love to go back again.

One of the enjoyable aspects of business trips is dinner. This time during my Fukuoka business trip, I went to a restaurant called "Motsuko" for motsunabe. What's great about this place is that they have a menu for solo diners! You can order a half portion of motsunabe, horse sashimi, potato salad, gyoza, and white small intestines separately. The best part is the individual dishes paired with sake. Horse sashimi and white small intestines with sake are unbeatable. If you ever come to Fukuoka, be sure to check this place out!

This time, I arrived in Fukuoka alone on Friday night. Motsumi-san is almost my top priority for this trip, haha. I visited the restaurant around 8:30 pm and luckily didn't have to wait long to get in. I'm not a fan of motsu (offal), but fortunately, Motsumi-san offers pork belly version and provides single-person hot pot and seating, which is great. I ordered the pork belly hot pot, half order of gyoza, and added mentaiko, all of which were delicious! I don't have a photo, but they also served champon for the finale. All the cooking is done by the staff. Definitely give it a try!

I arrived at around 7pm on a weekday and was smoothly seated despite there being a one-group wait. There is a counter for solo diners where you can enjoy your meal without being bothered by others, and the staff will prepare the hot pot right in front of you. They also offer a half-size menu for solo diners, making it easy to add extra ingredients or order small snacks. The motsu (offal) hot pot is served with a vinegar soy sauce style, with no unpleasant smell and a refreshing taste. The chanko (noodle dish) at the end has a nice texture and is so delicious that I finished it quickly, although I found the half-size portion a bit small.

When it comes to motsunabe in Fukuoka, Motsu is the place to go. I went there recently and had to take off my shoes and eat on the floor, which was a bit uncomfortable, but at least it was a sunken kotatsu table. The motsunabe with ponzu sauce was light and delicious! Even though I was already full, I couldn't resist the champon noodles at the end. It was so good!

A super popular restaurant with a long line before opening, attracting people of all ages. The quality of the motsu, taste, other dishes, customer service, and atmosphere are all top-notch and unmatched by other restaurants. They also offer a wide variety of drinks, making it the perfect place to enjoy delicious motsu hot pot and drinks.

I arrived at the restaurant around 8pm on a regular day and was able to enter without waiting in line. I ordered the motsunabe, one for each person. The staff prepared the motsunabe for us, which was reassuring. When it was ready, I was surprised by how delicious it was. The soup was just right, not too thin or too thick, and the motsu was firm and satisfying. The gyoza I ordered from the menu was also of high quality and delicious!

This is a famous motsunabe restaurant in Hakata!! It's a motsunabe where the gyoza skin is used as a lid ⭐ It was a motsunabe that I really liked! It was my first time at this restaurant, but it was delicious!! It would have been even better if the champon noodles at the end were black sesame. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I went to the famous Hakata specialty restaurant "Motsukou" because there were customers from out of town. I was surprised to see that the restaurant had expanded a lot! We ordered motsu nabe (offal hot pot) and various side dishes. The side dishes were delicious! I feel like they didn't have these kinds of dishes in the past. The motsu nabe was tasty, but I think it was even better in the past. The best part was the champon noodles at the end. Motsukou's champon noodles are really delicious! Overall, it was tasty, but I think the champon noodles were much better in the past. Thank you for the meal!

This was my first time visiting this place. There is a reception on the first floor, and we were seated on the second floor. We drove there, so we toasted with non-alcoholic beer and ordered various dishes. Although this place is known for motsunabe (offal hot pot), I was happy to see a wide variety of dishes on the menu. Each dish came in small portions. We also ordered the hot pot, which was light and you dip the ingredients in a vinegar soy sauce. It was delicious all the way to the champon at the end. Thank you for the meal!

This was my first time visiting! I've wanted to go for a while and finally made it! Of course, I ordered the motsu nabe!! The motsu nabe here is very unique because it has gyoza skins in it!! It was incredibly delicious (≧▽≦) Also, the champon noodles at the end were amazing too.

I went to a motsunabe restaurant for the first time in a long time since I visited it quite a while ago. The interior has been renovated and looks more luxurious than before. There were four of us, and we ordered a few a la carte dishes and three servings of motsunabe. However, the servings were a bit small for the number of people, so we were a little disappointed as we wanted to try various menu items!

The calm atmosphere and light motsunabe were excellent. The staff mostly handle the hotpot, so you can relax and leave it to them. We added Chinese noodles at the end. When asked if we wanted sesame seeds, we said yes, and a whole bottle of sesame seeds was added, making for a flavorful finish.

This is the best motsunabe in Fukuoka. The tripe is not gamey, and the broth is lightly seasoned with a rich vinegar soy sauce flavor, creating a new sensation! You can easily eat at least 3 servings per person until the end. However, the service is really disappointing, at the level of student part-time workers, to the point of being irritating.

This tripe hot pot restaurant is worth visiting regardless of the season. The texture of the tripe is exquisite, with the umami spreading with each bite. The soup also has a deep flavor that balances well with the tripe. The vegetables are fresh and pair perfectly with the tripe. Additionally, the atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and ideal for dining with friends or family. The staff is friendly and the restaurant allows you to fully enjoy the charm of tripe hot pot.

I wanted to eat motsunabe in Hakata, so I went to this restaurant. I was able to enter without a reservation this time. I sat at the counter on the second floor after taking off my shoes. The seating was like a semi-private space with partitions. I ordered motsunabe (1200 yen), tofu & water dumpling set for one person (365 yen), a bottle of Akahoshi beer (550 yen), and a table charge (400 yen). Cash payment only, and each person must order one portion of nabe and drink. The staff prepared the motsunabe for us. They said we could eat the vegetables when they became soft. The staff explained everything well, but it seemed like the other customers weren't listening at all (laughs). I had a misconception that motsunabe would be spicy with garlic and shichimi, but it was actually quite light and tasted like soy sauce, similar to sukiyaki. I was worried if I could finish the nabe, but I ended up finishing it easily.

Reservation is required for a minimum of 3 people. I visited around 7 pm on a weekday and was seated immediately. The appetizers included pickled burdock, cucumber and jellyfish in vinegar, and stir-fried eringi mushrooms. The tripe was served in a ponzu-like sauce, which was refreshing and delicious. The texture was crunchy and it had a mild flavor, making it an interesting dish. The butter-fried chicken was tasty and had a rich flavor, especially when paired with yuzu pepper. The chicken sashimi was also delicious, served with a vinegar soy sauce. The tripe hot pot had a simple yet flavorful broth with cabbage, chives, and gyoza skins. The addition of gyoza skins added a nice texture to the dish. I also ordered extra tripe, as it was the highlight of the meal. The simplicity of the ingredients allowed the tripe to shine. The hot pot was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. Lastly, we had champon noodles as a finishing dish, which was served with sesame seeds and a flavorful soup. The chewy noodles paired well with the vinegar soy sauce. The pricing was reasonable and the portion sizes were small, allowing for a variety of dishes to be ordered. Overall, it was a very welcoming restaurant, especially for solo diners in a time where many places turn them away.

I visited for the first time. When it comes to Fukuoka, it's motsunabe. So I went looking for it. The place was more spacious than I thought and had a nice atmosphere! Motsunabe had gyoza skins in it, which I found surprising, but it really goes well together. It's delicious. If I go to Fukuoka again, I will definitely come back!

It's early summer and I came to Fukuoka wanting to eat motsunabe or Mizutaki. I did some research and ended up at this restaurant recommended by a friend. I had never even heard of Hakata motsunabe before, but eating it with ponzu sauce was amazing! It was incredibly delicious. I'm going to suggest to my wife to try putting gyoza skins in the hot pot too. I didn't have much time to savor it, but the noodles at the end were also delicious.

I finally visited Motsukou, a place I've always wanted to go. The restaurant was so crowded inside. While regular motsu nabe usually comes with soy sauce or miso, here they serve it with ponzu sauce. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation with ponzu, but it was delicious! Finish off with champon for a satisfying meal.

We aimed to arrive at the opening time of 5:00 PM for motsunabe, the only option available. Reservations are not accepted for two people, but the soup and sauce have a gentle flavor without garlic, yet still rich in taste. The must-have dish is the champon noodles for the finale, generously topped with sesame seeds. However, a downside is that sitting in the tatami room for a long time can make your hip joints ache!
