On this day, I was introduced by an acquaintance's company president to the restaurant Musashi-za, which specializes in robatayaki and yakitori. According to him, this restaurant excels in its cuisine, atmosphere, and customer service, all of which are business-like qualities. Additionally, they offer vegetable-wrapped skewers that are said to be quite delicious, making me even more excited! The location is a bit far from the station, down a dark alley lined with private homes. The exterior is simple, without any large signs, and exudes an old-fashioned charm with a modern touch, giving off a welcoming vibe even before entering the restaurant. As soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the hearth where fish was being grilled, almost mesmerizing me. The staff greeted me warmly and led me to a counter seat. The menu was handwritten on a single sheet of paper, with not too many options. It seems they regularly change their menu, a thoughtful touch that likely contributes to attracting repeat customers. When I ordered a drink, the staff immediately brought out a beautifully displayed dish of the day's fresh fish and the signature shrimp, explaining them in a friendly manner. This friendly interaction across the counter is also a key point that draws customers to this restaurant! (I was so engrossed in listening to the explanation that I forgot to take photos) Before I knew it, drinks and appetizers were served. Today's appetizer was a simple dish of edamame, which was a bit anticlimactic (laughs), but it came with a small fish-shaped soy sauce container! Inside was tequila, inviting us to toast with it. It was a playful touch that added to the excitement! (laughs) I've been excited since I walked in! And then, the dishes kept coming. Today's lineup included: "Toro Taku" for 750 yen, "Cheese Tofu" for 550 yen, "Salmon Harasu & Ikura" for 1100 yen, "Ebi Maki" for 350 yen, "Lettuce Maki" for 250 yen, "Nenohi Negi Maki" for 250 yen, "Sunaguri" for 160 yen, "Toro Taku" was a roll of negitoro with pickled daikon and ikura, wrapped in seaweed. The presentation was stunning, like a mountain of jewels! When you take a bite, the aroma of seaweed combines with the luxurious flavors of negitoro and ikura, with the crunchy texture of pickled daikon adding a nice accent. It's truly exquisite! It's incredibly delicious! "Cheese Tofu" was a homemade cheese tofu served with baguette. This cheese tofu is really delicious!! It has a sweet taste, but it's perfect for a drinking snack! It's a must-try dish for women! "Salmon Harasu & Ikura" was recommended by the friendly staff, so I decided to try it! (laughs) But I understand why they recommended it!! It's really delicious! The seasoning is exquisite, and it's a dish that goes perfectly with drinks! It's a luxurious dish that would be perfect for breakfast! "Ebi Maki" - I've been waiting for this! I love shrimp! When you take a bite, the shrimp is firm and fresh, and you can tell right away that it's high-quality shrimp. I think whether the shrimp becomes dry or firm when grilled is crucial. Musashi-za's shrimp roll was exquisite! "Lettuce Maki" - The juicy, perfectly grilled pork and crispy lettuce complement each other perfectly! It's delicious!!! The seasoning, with a vinegar-like flavor, is exactly to my taste! This is the best seasoning for vegetable rolls! Please try it! "Nenohi Negi Maki" - This dish is made with pork belly wrapped with plenty of green onions. The grilling is really exquisite here!! The meat is tender, the green onions are cooked just right, and it's an amazing dish! The grilling is everything with skewers, and Musashi-za is fantastic! "Yuzu Ika Mentaiko" - This was offered as a service by the friendly staff! They said it might become a new specialty in Hakata... The fragrance of yuzu, the texture of squid, and the taste of mentaiko blend perfectly, enhancing each other, and it's ===========
