During the self-restraint period, I visited Yakitori Kuniyoshi and met Manager Iwamoto, where we talked about how I would definitely go to Hop Dubble when they reopen. Finally, I went on a first date with the beautiful dentist Nagi-chan and enjoyed delicious Kaiji Tori chicken. The dishes I had included:
- Appetizer
- Kimi's liver with smoked soy sauce and horseradish
- Kaiji Tori chicken breast grilled with sabi
- Chochin (paper lantern)
- Karasumi seaweed wrapped in nori
- Chopstick rest: marinated vegetables
- Kaiji Tori chicken thigh mille-feuille
- Chicken soup
- Seasonal potato salad
- Grilled Kachokabaro cheese
- Ginkgo nuts
- Additional skewers: seseri, sunagimo
- Closing dish & dessert: mushroom rice with egg yolk, adult pudding
The highlight was the juicy and flavorful Kaiji Tori chicken thigh mille-feuille. The round style tsukune and the dessert of adult pudding were also delicious. I was tempted to have seconds of the grilled chochin, which was one of the best I've had. The mille-feuille style of skewering the chicken was a favorite of mine, and the tsukune was exceptional. The atmosphere and the photo of the Hori couple brought back memories, making me want to visit Kuniyoshi again soon. #ShinbashiGourmet #ShinbashiYakitori #HopDubbleShinbashi #Yakitori #TokyoYakitori #TokyoGourmet #Foodie #YakitoriLover #YakitoriJo #YakitoriExploration #YakitoriRestaurant #FoodieCommunity #JapaneseFoods #KaijiToriChicken #Foodstagram

Hop Duvel is a shop I would love to visit every day if I had the time, especially in the city center. The combination of Belgian beer and yakitori is so sophisticated. The mini liver and garlic bowl that only comes with the course menu made the customer next to me look envious (laughs). You can tell the quality of the shop by how they cook the chicken tenderloin. It is served with a high-quality semi-raw cooking style. Next is the chouchin. The raw chicken tail part should pop in your mouth when you eat it. The scallion, shiitake mushrooms, and other delicious items keep coming. And then, Maruhatsu. It's difficult to cook the whole body without cutting it, but they do it so juicy in the Duvel style. The chicken thigh with karasumi on top. I love this one. It's so delicious that it's a shame to finish it. And then, my favorite seseri and tsukune. Finally, of course, the chicken soboro bowl! It wouldn't be complete without it. Ah, it's a moment of bliss, so tasty. This time, they also had some unique Belgian beers for us to enjoy. The hospitality here is amazing. Hop Duvel always gives me comfort, support, and energy.

I always use this place. It's not suitable for entertaining because there is only a counter, but when you want to casually eat delicious yakitori, it's definitely the right choice. The variety of Belgian beers is rich, and when you mention your preferences, the staff will recommend one for you. Highly recommended.

There were a lot of varieties, each one very large and delicious! There were also many types of beer available, and the atmosphere at the counter seats, as well as the staff, were very good. We had a fun meal! The egg over rice at the end was also amazing.

The food is delicious for each dish. From appetizers to the main yakitori, you can tell that each dish is carefully prepared. Even though it's a beer-focused place, they also offer a good selection of wines, which is great because I tend to get full just on beer. The meals are in course menu format, so you can choose based on how hungry you are, which is very convenient. And most importantly, the prices are reasonable, which makes me happy.

Tonight, my sister invited me to a rare yakitori restaurant in Shinbashi for a night of adult drinking. We arrived right on time for our reservation, but had to wait outside as the previous customers were still finishing up. The staff kindly offered us a welcome drink of draft beer while we waited. Cheers! The beer was refreshing and easy to drink. We had reserved the 6600 yen course which included appetizers, the famous Kimi's liver with leeks, 8 skewers of yakitori, and oyakodon. The course focused on using carefully selected local chickens, including Kai Gunkei chicken. The appetizer and Kimi's liver were delicious, especially the duck liver wrapped in egg yolk. The skewers were all flavorful and the chicken breast with wasabi was just the right amount of spicy. The chouchin skewer was a bit challenging to eat but tasty, and the chicken thigh with green onion was tender and sweet. The hugging skewer was a unique combination of chicken breast wrapped in skin with karasumi and seaweed. The tsukune skewer with cartilage was chewy and satisfying. The staff grilled everything with care, and it was all delicious. We ended the meal with oyakodon, but by then we were quite full from all the beer, sake, and wine we had enjoyed throughout the evening. It was a delightful dining experience!

I visited "Hop Duvel" in Shinbashi, which combines craft beer and grilled chicken, a place I had been curious about for a while. The interior of the restaurant is surprisingly narrow, making it a bit of a challenge to walk past the counter. In addition to beer, they also have a decent selection of wines, offering a variety of drinks. The grilled chicken is delicious, and the atmosphere is casual and enjoyable, making it a great place to go for drinks with friends.

It is a small shop with only a counter. I had the short course. There were many types of Belgian beer, so I was unsure, but for the first glass, I went with the refreshing recommended Vedett. The fun of this shop is that the glass varies depending on the beer. There were some with unique shapes, which was enjoyable! However, the beer is a bit pricey. The yakitori was all delicious, and the appetizers and potato salad used ingredients that made me feel the spring season.

It was a very delicious yakitori with a lot of attention to detail. The yakitori was carefully grilled and the timing and seasoning were perfect for every part. The Belgian beer was also very tasty! It was a great pleasure to enjoy yakitori while having conversations and sipping Belgian beer. I would love to visit again someday.

I went to a yakitori restaurant with a friend who lives in Switzerland. Each skewer was carefully made and delicious. The charcoal flavor, crispy outside, juicy inside, heart, gizzard, chicken thigh, and green onion skewers were all tasty. The chicken soup sauce was light and matched well with the flavor of the chicken itself. I was very satisfied with the course and beer.

This is a nice little restaurant with only 14 counter seats. I had a solo course for 6600 yen. The first dish of liver, garlic chives, and egg was amazing. The chicken was great, and the soft-boiled quail egg was also delicious. I want to try the potato salad and liver pate next time. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for the meal.

This is a valuable restaurant that seems suitable for a date in this area. I visited with a friend on a weekday night. We ordered a small yakitori course and added some of our favorite items. I love chochin (paper lantern) so I was happy to see it here! The selection of craft beers was also enjoyable. I would love to go back again!

When you want to eat delicious yakitori in Shinbashi, this is the best place! The restaurant has only a counter and is not spacious, but the staff's service is pleasant and they can provide accurate advice on pairing with alcohol. It felt like visiting a friend of 10 years. I used it for a date this time, and the women were also really pleased with how delicious it was. Especially the negima with leeks and liver with egg is extremely delicious. The yakitori and pate are also perfect, and there is a wide variety of Belgian beers to enjoy. It's a special place where beer lovers will definitely fall in love with. I don't want to tell too many people, but ===========

First visit. I had been to the sister stores in Toranomon before, but I hadn't been able to visit here due to timing issues. Finally, I visited as I had been wanting to. I started with the lightest course, and the conclusion was very satisfying! There are various types of beer, and they also have a rich selection of sake and wine that they can serve according to the dishes. If you like the counter seat, I recommend it as you can enjoy a slightly casual atmosphere with a solid course. It's really delicious! Thank you for the meal!

When I visited, I had some crispy yakitori, including white liver, heart, duck, and tsukune. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice and the staff were friendly. The grilling was still a bit uneven and the seasoning was sparse. I look forward to improvements in the future! Thank you for the meal♪ Oh! They have a wide selection of bottled beers, maybe over 20 types? Craft beer and yakitori make a great combination.

The interior of the restaurant, which only has a counter, is narrow with a cramped back aisle and no place to hang coats, so bags end up being placed on top of each other. There are hooks under the counter to hang bags, but the position is awkward and you end up getting kicked by the person next to you. They offer to hold your belongings for you, but you prefer to keep your bag close to you. The concept of the restaurant is "Belgian beer and yakitori," but I, who don't drink beer, settled for barley shochu with soda. The reviews on Tabelog were quite positive, so I had high hopes for the yakitori. I chose the popular "Omakase Kushi Course" (¥2,900) when making a reservation online. The course includes appetizers, various grilled items, and chicken soup, but the contents may vary depending on the day and availability of ingredients. I was asked not to take photos of the menu as the contents may be a secret. The food took a while to arrive, and they suggested ordering items like potato salad and liver pate while waiting. The first dish was a small ginger-flavored soup, followed by various yakitori items. The seasoning was a bit too salty for my taste. The bill for two came out to over ¥16,000, which was a bit more than expected. Overall, I was a bit disappointed with the yakitori and questioned the high ratings on review sites.

First of all, I want you to look at the photo of the draft beer. It's been a while since I've seen a draft beer that looks so unappetizing. The price is high and I felt disappointed from the first sip. I arrived right at the opening time for lunch, but was told, "We haven't started the fire yet, so it will take a little time." Wait, isn't it already opening time? I wanted to say that, but... I had a bad feeling, but I ordered the skewer course for 3800 yen. The appetizer platter with three items and six skewers were cheap and looked like they were cutting corners. The regulars were praising the grilling, but it was just average. Skewer course, 4 drinks, totaling 6800 yen.

On Friday night, I had a drinking party with three friends who live in Nishi-Nippori, Komagome, and Toyosu. The designated meeting place was "Yakitori & Belgian Beer Hop Duvel Shimbashi". The location is as follows: exit JR Shimbashi Station Karesu Exit, walk straight west on the road south of New Shimbashi Building, turn left one street before reaching Hibiya Street, and the restaurant will be on the right side. When I arrived, the three friends were already seated and waiting. We started with a toast with "Vedett on Tap" and then ordered our food. The system of the restaurant is to first have the yakitori course and then add a la carte dishes. We started with the simple "Chef's Choice 6 Skewers Course". The six skewers were "Wasabi Yakitori," "Liver," "Ginnan (Ginkgo nuts)," "Heart," "Skin," and "Tsukune (Chicken meatballs)". The chicken used is mainly from Yamanashi Prefecture's "Kaiji Gunkei". The meat had a good texture and no strong taste. Especially, the "Liver" skewer, which shows the freshness and quality of the chicken, was cooked perfectly and delicious. We switched to sake halfway through. Although Belgian beer is easy to drink and I don't dislike it, I feel like it doesn't go well with the sauce on the skewers. The sake selection was not very extensive, so we stuck with "Kamemitsu Junmai". Now for the a la carte dishes: - "Drooling Chicken Covered in Cashews" - "Simmered Chicken" - "Chicken Wings" - "Fluffy Oyakodon with Yatsugatake Egg" The Oyakodon was the best dish of the night. The egg and chicken were excellent, but the broth was outstanding! It was a high-level dish that could compete with specialty Oyakodon restaurants. Despite being slightly off the traditional path of yakitori restaurants in terms of appearance and drink selection, this place showed a dedication to quality ingredients and is a convenient spot to visit. I would definitely come back for a casual drink. The bill came to around 27,000 yen for four people. Thank you for the meal!

After work, enjoying freshly grilled skewers at the counter is a blissful time. Among the various skewers with crispy outside and fluffy inside, the liver was enjoyable as it changed smoothly in the mouth. Even the beer, which I thought I couldn't drink, had a fruity aroma and flavor, making it delicious. The staff at the restaurant were warm, making it a place where I would like to come back again.

After a long time, I visited Hopduvel. When I want to settle down and have a meal somewhere in Shinbashi, it's quite difficult. It's truly a blessing to be able to enjoy delicious yakitori in a calm atmosphere at Hopduvel. This day, I opted for the course menu. The salad, three appetizers, and even pate with bread were included, which felt luxurious. I ordered 6 skewers and for the finale, I was asked about any ingredients I didn't like. Instead, I mentioned that I wanted to try something new, and they kindly accommodated my request. Since I had room in my stomach, I also had oyakodon! Enjoying delicious yakitori with a Belgian beer in hand is the best. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I went to "Yakitori & Belgian Beer Hop Duvel Shimbashi" in Shimbashi. The restaurant is located about 5 minutes from Shimbashi Station, in a calm atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the station area. I didn't have a reservation, but since it was late, there were seats available and I was able to enter without any issues. The interior of the restaurant has only counter seats. I started with a Belgian beer, "Vedett Extra White." Since I wasn't very hungry, I ordered the "Assorted 6 Skewers Course" for yakitori and also got a half portion of potato salad. While waiting for the skewers to be grilled, I snacked on the potato salad. The "Vedett Extra White" beer has a fruity and refreshing taste, making it easy to drink. However, since it's a bit pricey, I switched to "Asahi Marufuji" to avoid a hefty bill. Marufuji is also refreshing and easy to drink. The yakitori uses a chicken called Kaiji Kojiru, and all the skewers were grilled perfectly and delicious. They explain which part of the chicken each skewer is from when serving, but I couldn't remember because I had been drinking since lunch and was tired from walking around. Lately, there are many restaurants pairing yakitori with wine, but I prefer the golden combination of beer and yakitori, so I had a good impression of this place. Although I wasn't very hungry this time and only ordered the 6-skewer course, the oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) that other customers were having looked incredibly delicious. I would like to visit again and try the oyakodon. Thank you for the meal.
