Today, I had lunch at ALOHA BABY, located just a 2-minute walk from Setagaya Line Matsunokami Shrine. This restaurant opened on January 25, 2015, and it still has the Sun-Es Store sign, which adds to its charm. The menu includes dishes like Omelette Curry for 900 yen, Tuna Avocado Poke Bowl for 1100 yen, Beef Salad Bowl for 1200 yen, and more. The restaurant's name, ALOHA BABY, creates a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families with children. The cozy space and Hawaiian music playing in the background make it a great place to enjoy a meal. I ordered the Omelette Curry for 900 yen, which came with a generous salad and soup. The curry sauce was rich and flavorful, and paired perfectly with the fluffy omelette. Overall, the experience was delightful and I highly recommend trying it out to feel the Hawaiian vibes.

Ahi poke bowl with avocado topping. It feels a bit lonely without the topping, so I recommend adding it. We arrived just before 12 pm and got a table, but after 12 pm it was full. My companion ordered the chicken over rice, which also looked delicious!

I entered the restaurant on August 4, 2023, before 9:00 PM, and there were no other customers. I ordered garlic shrimp rice and beef teki rice, which arrived in less than 5 minutes. I was surprised at how they could serve such delicious food so quickly. The flavors were rich, but we shared and finished both dishes. The price was a bit high, but it was delicious.

For lunch, I decided to stroll around the Matsuo Inari Shrine shopping street. I came across a Hawaiian cafe that I had always been curious about. Although the sign outside said "Sanesu Food Store," I wondered what it was. I parked my bike and went inside to find a Hawaiian cafe called Hawaiian Restaurant ALOHABABY. This popular cafe opened in 2015. The interior had a wooden design with a spacious white ceiling, creating a tropical atmosphere with palm trees outside the windows. It's a relaxing cafe where you can unwind. I chose the most popular dish, Beefsteak Rice, which is a hearty lunch of beef steak on rice. It came with a small salad and soup. The beef steak on rice was delicious, with a strong garlic flavor that paired well with the rice. The steak was cooked perfectly tender. I also had an iced coffee as part of the set drink. It was a leisurely time spent in the Hawaiian atmosphere of Matsuo Inari Shrine. Highly recommended.

I was searching for something unusual for lunch and came across Hawaiian cuisine, so I decided to try it out. I ordered the garlic steak and curry, and the garlic flavor was incredibly strong, hitting my taste buds straight on. The curry was rich and had a clear, bold flavor. Hawaiian cuisine seems to be an American style with a tropical twist.

After about two years, I visited the Matsunaga Shrine for a successful prayer and then visited the restaurant. The atmosphere changed dramatically as I walked from Matsunaga Shrine along the approach, crossed the Setagaya Line railroad crossing, and aimed for "Miyako Denki Shokai (actually Yayoko)," next to which is the "Sanesu Shokuhin-ten" sign, giving off a Hawaiian vibe. It was a Saturday afternoon, but the weather forecast was way off, and it was unexpectedly cold and rainy, so the restaurant was quite empty and I was seated right away. The menu had changed quite a bit since two years ago, and this time I ordered the recommended "Chicken Breast Plate L (1,100 yen including tax, R is 1,000 yen)," which started a project focusing on "Delicious High Protein Intake!" I chose the "Ginger Sauce" as the sauce from the options of "Deliciously Spicy Sesame Sauce" and "Ginger Sauce" (this was a joke) since I had just visited Matsunaga Shrine. I opted for the large size with an additional topping of "Boiled Egg (100 yen including tax)." For the set drink, I chose "Pineapple Juice (300 yen including tax)." Shortly after ordering, I was served with a cup of soup and pineapple juice, and then the Chicken Breast Plate was served. On the left side of the plate was a salad (green leaf and broccoli with onion dressing), and on the right side, slices of boiled chicken breast meat were piled on top of rice, generously covered with a light green ginger sauce. A half-boiled egg was served on the side, with plenty of cilantro on top, giving it a Hawaiian and ethnic feel. I immediately mixed the ginger sauce with the chicken breast meat, cilantro, and rice, and enjoyed the combination. The ginger sauce had a surprisingly mellow flavor, which paired perfectly with the tender chicken breast meat, making it incredibly delicious. The cilantro also added a nice touch to enhance the flavor. The portion was just right, and I enjoyed it while taking breaks with the salad and boiled egg. I finished the meal with a satisfying feeling. The pineapple juice was also a good choice. I had a very delicious meal today. Although I don't often visit Matsunaga Shrine, with the variety of menu options available, I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

There was a day when I wanted to eat Hawaiian food. The restaurant I chose tonight was 'ALOHABABY', located not far from Matsuo Shrine-mae Station. Every meal in life begins with excitement. Let's go! It's a popular restaurant with a long line. The restaurant was clean and I had a very pleasant meal. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

I love the Hawaiian atmosphere here, it's my favorite place to come. I always end up ordering the Beef Teppanyaki Rice (1,800 yen) even though I want to try other dishes. The beef is so delicious and tender, cooked rare. The buttery sauce and flavorful rice make it so satisfying. I've also tried delivery, but the rice tends to get a bit soggy, so I think it's better to eat at the restaurant.

Around 2 o'clock, I finished my errands and since I hadn't eaten anything all morning, I was super hungry (T.T). I decided to check out Eat Log to find something to eat. I was in the mood for something Hawaiian, so I chose this place called "Hawaiian Restaurant ALOHABABY." It had been a while since I had Hawaiian food! It's located not far from Matsuo Shrine and has a stylish exterior with a nice, lively atmosphere. I was seated at a table near the kitchen, which had a very Aloha vibe. The spacious interior was comfortable to relax in. The clientele seemed to be mostly moms and families, which made sense given the location and atmosphere. The lunch menu had options such as Beef Steak Rice for 1,500 yen, Chicken Over Rice for 1,000 yen, Teriyaki SPAM&Egg Plate for 800 yen, Beef Salad Bowl for 1,200 yen, Ahi Poke Bowl for 1,100 yen, Garlic Ahi Steak for 1,500 yen, Garlic Shrimp Rice for 1,500 yen, Beef Taco Rice for 1,000 yen, and today's curry for 900 yen, all of which came with soup. You could also add a drink for an additional 200 yen! I decided to go for the Poke Steak, a popular Hawaiian dish, and ordered a Tropical Iced Tea to drink. The steak looked amazing! There were also classic Hawaiian dishes like Avocado Poke Bowl and Poke Steak on the menu. People in Hawaii (and even in the US) seem to like hearty dishes. It's interesting how tastes can vary so much based on race, nationality, and upbringing. Our orders arrived after about 15 minutes, along with the soup. The Beef Steak and Poke Steak were served, and they looked impressive! The portions were generous! This is what I call Hawaiian food! The aroma was fantastic. I started with the salad to get some veggies in. And then, the Poke Steak! It was tender, juicy, and flavorful. It paired perfectly with the rice and sauce underneath. However, the flavor was extremely strong. I couldn't taste anything but the sauce... It was a bit overwhelming. The dish was too heavy and salty. I wonder if everyone eats it like this? The atmosphere was nice and cozy, so I think it would be a good place to come for drinks. Overall, it was a good experience. Thank you for the meal.

The price for the amount of food is reasonable! The food is delicious and there is a lot of it! There are many sweet alcoholic drinks available. There are also many types of beer. I would like to visit again to use it as a cafe if they have Hawaiian-style pancakes for dessert.

It was a delicious Hawaiian restaurant. Lately, there are more stylish cafes and trendy shops in front of Matsukage Shrine, making it seem like a town where young people want to live. The dishes we ordered were all hot and delicious. If you want to eat Hawaiian food, be sure to visit!

I visited the restaurant for the first time in a long time. I ordered a salad with avocado, but it was strangely salty. The atmosphere was nice, but I wish the food was a bit more carefully prepared and delicious.

The last time I visited this restaurant was before the pandemic, about a year ago. I visited the restaurant again after paying a visit to the Matsuo Shrine. To find this restaurant in the Matsuo Shrine shopping street, look for the old "Hitachi Color TV" signboard as a landmark. The restaurant is located next to "Sanesu Food Store". I was seated immediately around 1 pm on a weekday. This time, I felt like eating lots of vegetables, so I ordered the "Beef Salad Bowl & Rice" lunch set for 1,400 yen (tax included). I chose the set drink "Guava Juice" for 200 yen (tax included). Soon, the guava juice and a cup of soup were served, and then the beef salad bowl and rice were brought to the table. The beef salad bowl came in a large glass bowl, filled with plenty of ingredients, which was quite surprising. I wondered if I could finish it all, but the staff advised me to mix it well before eating. The salad included a variety of green leafy vegetables, onions, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, corn, and beef seasoned with a "secret sauce". It was quite a sight to behold. When I mixed it all together with a fork and spoon, the flavors of the beef sauce and salad dressing (a sesame-flavored Caesar dressing?) blended perfectly and tasted delicious. The rice portion was small, but just right. Although I was worried about the large portion of the beef salad bowl, the delicious taste and the abundance of vegetables made me finish it in no time. I enjoyed my meal very much today. The lunch menu at this restaurant is all very satisfying. I honestly can't come here often, but I left with the intention of coming back again. Thank you for the meal.

I was always curious about this shop with a retro sign at Matsuo Shrine, labeled as "San-Esu Shokuhin-ten". Inside, it has a mysterious and stylish atmosphere. I finally decided to visit and was welcomed by a woman in a muumuu who showed me to a table. It was past noon, so they only had lunch menu options available. Feeling quite full, I ordered the taco rice with half the portion of rice. I also had a Heartland beer. Soon, the taco rice arrived, and despite ordering half the rice, it was still a generous portion. I can only imagine what the full portion would look like! The taste was good, typical taco rice that paired well with the beer. After finishing my meal, I left the restaurant. The retro vibe from the sign was not reflected inside, as the dining experience was just a normal Aloha-themed restaurant. Just a heads up, the retro elements from the sign are not present inside the restaurant.

At Konabeer, there is a plate with garlic ahi steak and a big piece of tuna steak on top of rice. It's a huge portion! The soy-based sauce with garlic flavor was delicious. It paired well with the fruity Hanalei beer.

I heard that the beefsteak is delicious, so I went to try it out. I parked my bike with the help of the staff. This street has become quite lively with many stylish shops. The whole street has a trendy vibe. The restaurant here is also stylish, with large windows and spacious seating, making it a relaxing place to hang out. There were various lunch menu options, but I went for the beefsteak rice I had my eyes on. The portion was huge and the presentation was impressive. The rice was hidden under a mountain of meat. The small flag on top made it look like a kids' meal, which was cute and nostalgic. The leafy greens and macaroni salad on the side were a nice touch. The rich steak with a strong buttery flavor had a satisfying chewiness, and with each bite, the juices flowed out. It felt invigorating. I was happy that lunch beer was only 300 yen, so I had one with my meal. Oh, and soup was included too. The restaurant had many moms with kids, creating a cozy and cute atmosphere.

Visited around 11:50 am on a Sunday. No customers before or after. Only a few takeout orders. The restaurant has about 8 tables, all indoors, with a bright and airy atmosphere. The menu seems to be the same for lunch and dinner, with soup included during lunch hours. Set drinks are priced at 200 yen and 300 yen separately. Today, I ordered the most popular dish, Beef Teppanyaki Rice for 1500 yen tax included, along with a set drink of draft beer for 300 yen. The Beef Teppanyaki Rice came on a single plate with a side of leafy salad and macaroni salad. The meat was large but thinly sliced, about 1 cm thick, to make it appear bigger. It was cooked to a medium doneness and tender. The butter sauce was rich with just the right amount of garlic and salt. The rice portion was generous. The soup was a standard consomme served in a cup. The price of 1500 yen may seem a bit high, especially with the additional charge for drinks, but it was within an acceptable range considering the quality. The other menu items looked delicious as well, but they are priced at over 1000 yen, so it's not cheap. Overall, it was a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and friendly service.

In front of Matsunokami Shrine, there is a Hawaiian cafe called "ALOHABABY". They serve Hawaiian-style fried chicken made with mochi rice called Mochico Chicken. The chicken is marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, then fried in mochi rice to make it crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried their Mochico Chicken Curry for 1200 yen, which was a perfect match of crispy chicken and rich dark curry. The chicken was juicy and the curry had just the right amount of spiciness, making it delicious! The salad dressing was also tasty and fresh. They also have other menu items like tuna poke bowl, beef rice, spam rice, and more. I would love to try more of their dishes in the future.

I visited the restaurant around noon on Sunday. When I arrived, there were only a few customers, so it was very quiet. The interior of the restaurant had a Hawaiian theme, with Hawaiian music playing in the background. Since it was Sunday afternoon, I ordered a mini beer and the beef steak lunch set. The beef steak in the lunch set was very large and satisfying. The sauce on the beef steak was the restaurant's original sauce, which had a hint of garlic but it was not overpowering. The staff were very friendly and before it got busy, they engaged in casual conversations, making it a very pleasant experience.

It had been quite a while since I last visited the Matsukage Shrine shopping street. The popular shop where I used to get my favorite oden ingredients had unfortunately closed last spring. Nevertheless, after 2 years and 4 months, I decided to visit the area to experience the nostalgic atmosphere of the downtown. It was a weekday afternoon, yet the restaurant was almost full. Luckily, my husband and I managed to find a table. Despite the chilly weather outside, the interior of the restaurant felt like Hawaii. I decided to try the recommended dish, the "Garlic Ahi Steak" (1,500 yen including tax) from the lunch menu. It was a plate with a generous portion of tuna belly steak on top of rice, topped with dry garlic and a soy sauce-based sauce. The combination was exquisite and incredibly delicious. Although the dish looked quite filling at first glance, being fish, I finished it in no time. I thought that this dish was a great way to get plenty of Omega-3 too. The plate also came with a mini salad, macaroni, and a cup of soup, making it a satisfying meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal today. The mismatch between the restaurant's sign and the actual menu remains unchanged, just like last time. Interestingly, the neighboring shop also has an old sign of an electronics store but is actually a vegetable shop. Perhaps this is a tradition in the Matsukage Shrine shopping street. Additionally, there are several coffee shops in the shopping street that caught my attention, and I had a delicious specialty coffee at one of them today. Despite its small scale, you can enjoy various dining and coffee experiences in this shopping street. By the way, a sibling shop (?) of Aloha Baby called "SETAGAYA Kodo's Roasted Chicken," focusing on roast chicken, opened nearby last December, which is something I look forward to trying next time.
