I love simmered offal, so I have been curious about this place for a while. The specialty simmered offal is delicious, and besides the basic miso and soy sauce flavors, there are also daily changing flavors to enjoy. I heard that they use different parts of offal depending on the flavor. (I made the mistake of forgetting to take a picture because I ate it right away...) In addition to that, I also ordered boiled tongue and grilled skewers, and everything was delicious. The tongue was tender and had a good broth. For drinks, they mainly offer beer, highball, and sour, so it seems fine for those who enjoy drinking those, but the selection of sake was not that extensive. The seating is not really conducive for lingering, so I think it's best to have a quick drink and then move on to a second location, or use it for a second round. It should be fine for those who are used to this kind of atmosphere, but it might not be suitable for a date as it has a traditional Japanese tavern vibe. - Will come back again - Would like to recommend it to friends - Great value for money, definitely a repeat-worthy restaurant! Will be back again.

On a normal night, I was drawn to a specialty shop that serves simmered offal. I thought it would be empty due to the summer heat, but it was crowded. I started with a draft beer. The appetizer was cabbage. - Grilled green onions. It seemed fresh, no unpleasant smell, and the combination of sesame oil and green onions was excellent. - Specialty Tsukune P. Large tsukune wrapped in raw green pepper. It's more like a salty hamburger than tsukune. Truly a specialty. I added a bottle of Japanese sake, Yamamoto Pure Black. - I couldn't resist trying the simmered dishes. There were several options, and I chose the salt garlic flavor. It was well simmered and tasted delicious. This salt-flavored simmered dish might be my first time trying it. A simple combination of meat and green onions. I want to have it over rice. I added another bottle of Japanese sake. - I tried the summer limited edition Yagenashima. It was easy to drink. I had to give up on the grilled offal due to a full stomach. I'm curious about the curry simmered dish.

I wanted to eat horumon (offal) so I made a same-day reservation and went. There is also a yakiniku restaurant nearby. I recommend the following menu: ★Negireba (leek with offal) ★Nikomi (miso stew) ★Motsuyaki Gopoint Mori (assorted grilled offal) ★Tsukune (meatball) ★Garlic cabbage ★Cheese marinated in soy sauce ★Refreshing leek salt offal skewers with ★Chire (thinly sliced offal) ★Amireba (grilled offal with sauce). I didn't intend to eat that much, but I ended up quite full! The best part was that everything was delicious without any misses. It's no wonder this place is popular. I would like to try other branches as well!

I went to the popular yakiniku restaurant "Numata" where they specialize in simmered motsu (offal). The restaurant is always crowded, but I was lucky to get a table on this day. They offer several types of simmered motsu, and I tried the spicy miso and soy sauce flavors, both of which were delicious. In addition, the liver steak, vinegar motsu, and yukke were all excellent. However, there is a 10-minute time limit for eating the yukke to ensure it is consumed while fresh. Numata is definitely a top-notch restaurant!

From Kao-chan, I received an invitation for drinks in the early afternoon on a busy Sunday. I couldn't reply right away, and by the time I did at 6 pm, I found myself at "Motsu Nikomi Numata 2nd" in Shinjuku Sanchome. The next place we went to was "Motsu Nikomi Numata Hanare". Finally, the main destination for the night, the original "Motsu Nikomi Numata" near my workplace! It turns out I'm not great at reading maps, as I didn't realize there were three different locations now. I vaguely remember hearing about the famous shop in Sanchome, but this was my first visit. I met up with two others, ordered some skewers, chugged some draft beer, took a break, and had a smoke outside. When I ordered a green tea highball, it was surprisingly weak, so I added some shochu from a Hoppy bottle. It was still too light, so I switched to sake, which was the right choice here. The skewers were excellent, especially the grilled chicken cartilage and boiled tongue. The next day at work, I found myself thinking about going back for more throat cartilage. It's been a while since I've had an experience like this. The shochu in the highball was too weak, so I rate it 3.8, but if it had been stronger, I would give it a 4.2. Highly recommended!

I arrived early around 5:00 PM on a Friday, but there weren't many people. I had read various comments beforehand and the tsukune (meatballs) with green peppers were incredibly delicious. I've tried tsukune dishes at different places, but this one was the best. The tsukune had a great texture with juicy meat bursting out. In the end, I ordered 4 skewers and ended up eating them all by myself. The service was also very good, so I highly recommend this place.

I love this restaurant. Everything I eat here is really delicious. It's hard to make a reservation on the day, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The negi-reba, boiled tongue, and potato salad with original eating chili oil are recommended.

- Negi (green onion) was very fresh. Delicious. High level. It had a texture like a mix between chicken and pork. I could feel both the softness of chicken and the firmness of pork in the texture.
- The simmered spicy miso was quite rich in flavor. It makes you want to eat rice. Truly a specialty simmered dish. Delicious.
- White coffee pudding. It's so white, where does the coffee element come in? The gentle coffee flavor and slightly firm pudding are quite delicious. A good way to finish the meal.
- Appetizer: Cabbage and cucumber pickles. With shiso leaves added, it's refreshing and tasty.
- Order: Negi (green onion) - 660 yen, Simmered spicy miso - 528 yen, White coffee pudding - 550 yen, Appetizer - 220 yen per person.

I really enjoyed the selection of sake at this restaurant. I tried all varieties and they were all delicious. It had been a while since I last visited, but I felt like the taste has improved over the past few years. Dishes like tsukune and negi liver were all delicious, and the young person I went with was impressed.

This shop seems to be associated with Mr. Ishii. They offer simmered and grilled giblets. I arrived at the shop after 9 pm without a reservation. The shop has a counter, tables, and shared tables in the back. When I mentioned that my companion would arrive later, I was seated at a shared table. I felt a bit overwhelmed being surrounded by two young couples, but the shop was bright and stylish, with a younger crowd. The simmered giblets come in various flavors, which was exciting. The soy sauce giblets were surprisingly refreshing. The spicy miso giblets had a strong giblet smell, but I like it. The mustard wasabi with konjac and black konjac was a new and interesting flavor. The skewered meatball was meaty and delicious. Eat it with the bell pepper on top. The liver and green onion had no unpleasant smell, and the seasoning of the green onion was delicious. I felt a bit out of place among the group of young people, so I might prefer a more laid-back atmosphere. But for those trying giblets for the first time or looking for a trendy place to drink, this is a recommended shop!! By the way, the salted cabbage appetizer was delicious.

On Saturday around 5:00 PM, three of us visited the restaurant. We thought it would be okay since it was 5:00 PM, but there was only one available seat including neighboring stores. It seems like making a reservation would be a good idea. The restaurant is very small, so there are tables where you may end up sharing with other customers. The food was delicious! The grilled green onions with liver and boiled pork tongue were especially tasty. We had seconds of the green onions with liver. It's cheap and delicious, so it's recommended for a quick drink with friends. However, I don't think you can stay for a long time.

On this day, there was a farewell party for a former colleague in Shinjuku Sanchome. I arrived a little early in Shinjuku Sanchome, so I decided to have a drink at this restaurant, Motsu-nikomi specialist Nodasen. When I entered the restaurant, I was asked if I had a reservation, but since I was alone, I was able to sit at the available counter. I ordered a draft beer, Kirin Lager for 550 yen, and Motsu-nikomi for 430 yen. I chose the classic miso flavor. As expected from a Motsu-nikomi specialist, there were various other flavors available as well. I also ordered a second round, the Nuppei set for 550 yen. I ordered the Motsu-yaki omakase set and enjoyed it with the Nuppei. The Motsu-yaki was meaty and had a good volume, making it enjoyable to eat. I couldn't choose the specific part since I ordered the recommended set, but they were all delicious, so it was a good choice. The Motsu-nikomi I enjoyed at Nodasen had an exquisite miso flavor, and the simmered motsu was tender and delicious. The Motsu-yaki also allowed me to enjoy the texture and taste of the meat, and it was delicious. When you stop by Shinjuku Sanchome, be sure to try the exquisite Motsu-nikomi and Motsu-yaki at Nodasen. There are counter seats where you can easily dine alone, so you can enjoy delicious food while enjoying your drink. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back!

I went to the popular motsu-nikomi (simmered offal) specialty restaurant, Numata-san, after making a reservation since it was crowded. They offer three flavors: miso, soy sauce, and salt (which changes daily). The grilled dishes were also delicious. The vegetables were tasty too. The cabbage appetizer was a bit salty for me, but still delicious. Vegetarians would be happy here. While I was there, they received many reservation calls and the restaurant was always full.

Visited at night. The place is located just off Suehiro Street, right after exiting Shinjuku Sanchome Station. Upon entering the restaurant, it had a crowded and chaotic atmosphere, more like a typical casual izakaya. Even though I went near closing time, it was quite busy. Seems like a popular spot. Here are my thoughts on what I ordered: 1. Spicy Motsu Stew - 526 yen The seasoning was spicy and flavorful! The motsu (offal) did have a distinct taste, but it was masked well by the rich sauce. Definitely goes well with alcohol. 2. Negi Liver - 660 yen This one had a strong liver flavor! The negi (green onions) couldn't completely mask it. If you're okay with the strong taste of liver, then it's okay. But for me, it was a bit too much. It was like trying to accept a unique singer like Endo of Cocorico. 3. Tsukune with Peppers - 473 yen The tsukune (chicken meatballs) with a salty flavor and the peppers paired really well. This was a good side dish! This place might be more suitable for those who enjoy this kind of atmosphere. 4. Oolong Highball - 528 yen Just a regular oolong highball. A bit on the pricier side for a casual izakaya. Overall, the prices are reasonable, but both the motsu and liver dishes had a strong taste that I couldn't quite enjoy... Hmm... Even though this place has high ratings on Tabelog, I couldn't understand the secret behind its popularity. It's like the Beat Crusaders who were popular as a melocore band for a while. They seem a bit pop and easy to approach, but the strong English pronunciation and unique singing style didn't quite click with me... I guess I'm just not the right fit (laughs). Personally, I think I would be more satisfied and enjoy tastier dishes at a similar casual izakaya like "BEETLE" or at the Defeat group in Yokohama.

I wonder how many years it's been since I last came here. There used to be someone I liked here, so I used to come often haha. Even though it's been a while, it's still as crowded as ever! The food is delicious and cheap. As soon as a seat opens up, it gets filled right away. I ended up ordering too much, especially the skewers haha.

The crunchy cartilage inside the tsukune is irresistible. When eaten with the crispy green pepper, it's just amazing. The motsu stew comes in various flavors like soy sauce, miso, spicy miso, salt (daily specials include yuzu kosho, garlic, plum), curry, etc. It's hard to choose. It's simmered until it's melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Perfect with alcohol!! I love Gari Shochu. It's common in kushikatsu restaurants, but rare to find in other places, so I was really happy. If there is a set of motsu-ni, negi liver, and green pepper meatballs, I could drink alcohol all night. Once you try the motsu-ni from Numata, you'll be hooked! The liver is moist with a delicious aroma of green onions and sesame oil. One bite of the green pepper meatballs followed by a beer or highball will make all work fatigue disappear!
