I visited "Gokumiya Hakata Store" near Hakata Station's bus terminal for lunch for the first time. I arrived at the restaurant at 10 am, an hour before opening, and was the 11th in line. More customers lined up behind me, creating a long queue. When the restaurant opened, I was seated on the first rotation. I ordered the Charcoal-Grilled & Teppanyaki Hamburg Combo Set (with rice, salad, miso soup, and soft-serve ice cream with free refills). I chose the Gokumiya meat sauce from 8 different sauces. The hamburger was cooked on a hot stone on a teppan grill, and the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. The homemade meat sauce complemented the juicy and flavorful meat perfectly. It was an amazing experience enjoying the hamburger with a cold beer and rice. It had been a while since I had such delicious hamburger, and the taste and value for money were outstanding. It's no wonder there was a long line for this delicious hamburger! Thank you for the meal!

A serious line-up hamburger restaurant. 80-90% are foreigners, 70% are Chinese, and 30% are Korean. The hamburgers are cooked on a hot stone at the table. However, it's troublesome to replace the stone as soon as it cools down, and the meat itself is not that tasty. The steak is even worse.

I want to go again! I want to eat it right now! Haha When I told my son that I wanted to eat delicious hamburgers, he took me there. Apparently, they also have all-you-can-eat ice cream, but we could only get one refill. The hamburgers were amazing! Being able to cook them to your liking was really delicious! ❤️

Charcoal-grilled hamburger M for 1,180 yen, plus rice for 150 yen. Located near Hakata Station, this hamburger restaurant always has a long line. The charcoal-grilled option at the Hakata store is a unique style where the hamburger, which is almost raw, is cooked on a hot stone. It was delicious and juicy, with a crispy exterior. I went on a weekday at 7 PM and there was a line, but I was able to get in after about 30 minutes. ❤️‍

Visited at 12:30 on a weekday. Already a long line. Waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Finally got inside. The interior is quite narrow with only a counter. Ordered the Hakata shop limited charcoal-grilled & teppanyaki hamburger combo set. Made with 100% beef, served rare and cooked on the hot plate while eating. The meat is thick and has a good texture, very delicious. Reminds me of Sawaya in Shizuoka.

I understand now that the reason the turnover rate is low is because the charcoal burns out quickly. The hamburger was still delicious as always, but I didn't really feel much of a difference between charcoal-grilled and regular. Also, I thought charging 50 yen for salt was a bit...

Thank you for always viewing ✨ If you like it, please try bookmarking it with the "Save Shop" button. A restaurant near Hakata Station in Fukuoka. When I arrived in Fukuoka and watched TV, I saw that their Tokyo branch had opened and it looked delicious. Since it's the main store in Hakata, I searched and found that it was nearby, so I hurried to go there. When I arrived, there were over 10 people waiting! I thought everyone came because they saw it on TV, but it seems to be very popular among foreigners, as most of the people waiting were foreigners. I waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes until I could enter (^^;; I ordered: - Hakata store limited charcoal grill & teppanyaki hamburger combo for 1,848 yen - Rice for 150 yen - Kirin Ichiban Shibori draft beer for 590 yen It's a style where you can grill it to your liking and eat it almost raw. I chose the meat sauce called Gokumiyaki as the sauce. I was expecting the charcoal grill to be good, but the teppanyaki was more delicious ✨ I don't want to wait for another hour, but if there's no line, I would like to go again (*^▽^*)_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Thank you very much for reading until the end ✨ If you leave a comment, I will reply to it. On Sunday around 6pm, I called and was informed that there were about 20 people waiting in line, so the wait would be about 30 minutes. However, the turnover rate was quite slow and the line didn't seem to be moving. What surprised me was that there were many Korean people in line, maybe about half of the line. It seems to be a popular spot among Koreans! After waiting for a total of 1 hour, I finally got inside the restaurant. I ordered the charcoal-grilled hamburger steak and Imari beef steak set, along with a rice set. I chose wasabi soy sauce and added an extra charge for the special meat sauce. The rice, salad, miso soup, and soft-serve ice cream were all you can eat, which was a great deal! After a 10-minute wait, the food was served. The hamburger was almost raw inside, with only the surface being slightly grilled. I cooked it on the hot stone on the iron plate to my liking. When eaten with wasabi soy sauce, the sweet and salty flavor of the soy sauce stood out, and the hamburger itself was soft, juicy, and delicious! I also tried it with the special sauce, but personally, I preferred the wasabi soy sauce. The Imari beef steak was also delicious, with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. I had one refill each of salad, rice, and miso soup, and finished with the soft-serve ice cream. Both inside and outside the restaurant, there were many Korean people, which was my honest impression. The taste was good, and being able to adjust the cooking to my liking was also a great feature. However, I'm not sure if I would wait for 1 hour just to eat here. It's not outstandingly delicious, but compared to other chain restaurants, the quality is high. Thank you for the meal!

I was surprised to see a long line before the store opened at 11 o'clock! I was completely late... and most of the people in line were Korean! I was given a menu in Hangul characters while waiting in line. I wanted to try the Imari beef yakiniku, so I ordered a menu that includes both. They didn't ask for how I wanted it cooked, but there are options for teppanyaki and the Hakata store's special charcoal-grilled. If you don't specify, it will come out charcoal-grilled. Due to the slow turnover right after opening, we were seated about 2 hours later. The dish came out with the outside seared on charcoal as shown in the photo, but the inside was almost raw, so you have to cook it yourself on a hot stone. We had to change the hot stone twice before finishing the meal. As for the taste... it's subjective, but personally, having eaten at many places in Yokohama, Shizuoka, and Tokyo, I didn't think it was worth waiting in line for. I think the restaurant should improve its narrow space and train the staff better on customer service. They were too arrogant! haha

I was told that I must try the hamburg at Kyokumiya, so I lined up when I had some errands in Fukuoka. Maybe because it was the beginning of the year, it was extremely crowded and we had to wait for nearly 3 hours in the cold outdoors. I tried to reduce the cold by watching a drama I downloaded on Amazon Prime, but it was so cold that I couldn't really get into the story. The hamburg itself was cooked quite rare and slightly cold. It was delicious, but it didn't really match well with my completely chilled body. Soft serve ice cream was included in the set after the meal, but it was nothing special. I would like to try lining up for it again when it's a bit warmer. I heard they have stores in Tokyo too?

I was tired from work and wanted to eat meat at night, so I revisited this place where I had searched for yesterday but gave up due to long lines. Today, there was only one group waiting so I lined up immediately. While waiting, I ordered a set of 120g hamburger and 60g Imari beef. Luckily, I was able to enter the restaurant in just 10 minutes. The interior of the restaurant is quite compact, with only counter seats available. Soon, rice, miso soup, and salad were served. The hamburger and meat on the hot plate were served in about 7-8 minutes. The meat is cooked on a stone on the hot plate before eating. The Imari beef, in particular, was incredibly delicious when cooked briefly. (The quality of this meat at this price...) I chose the smallest amount of hamburger, but it was a satisfying portion. The dessert ice cream was also quite good. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived 5 minutes before the usual opening time and was the first customer in line. According to reviews, there is usually a long line, so I came early. Shortly after I lined up, more customers followed. Thanks to reading other reviews carefully, I was able to find the place easily from the station. I was curious about the "charcoal-grilled" dish exclusive to the Hakata store, so I ordered the M size 150-gram portion. You can also choose the sauce, and after some consideration, I opted for the "Gokumiyano Nikudare" sauce and added the "set" which came with rice and other sides. As soon as the store opened, I was seated at the counter. The seating area was cramped, with narrow aisles and close spacing between seats. Even though there were empty seats, three of us who lined up together were seated side by side at the back. I thought it would be better to spread us out to give more space, but despite the discomfort, the rare hamburger meat was incredibly delicious. Recently, there has been a rise in restaurants where you cook your own hamburger, but this place stands out for the quality of the meat. The sauce was also tasty! Not too sweet, not too spicy, and not too thick. I usually don't use much sauce, but this one really enhanced the flavor of the meat. Each table had an exhaust fan, so there was no smoke filling the restaurant when cooking the meat. The set came with rice, miso soup, salad, and soft-serve ice cream, all of which were refillable. Wait, even the soft-serve ice cream? I couldn't resist getting another serving of the rich and creamy soft-serve. Despite looking small, the portion was surprisingly generous. Overall, to get such quality and quantity for this price at lunchtime is amazing.

My golf plans in Kumamoto were canceled due to a direct hit from a typhoon. The Shinkansen was also scheduled to stop in the afternoon, so I hurried to find a lunch spot, but every place I checked was temporarily closed due to the typhoon. Then I remembered about Gokumikuya and headed there, where the line wasn't as long as I thought. We connected to the end of the line just before the 11 am opening, and as the line moved, we finally got in 30 minutes later. We had pre-ordered, so we didn't have to wait long for the hamburger to arrive. They serve it on a hot stone for you to cook yourself. If the stone cools down, they'll reheat it for you. This way, you can enjoy it fresh, but it slows down the turnover. Overall, we were satisfied with the taste and experience at this restaurant. There were many tourists, so having a bit more spacious seating would be even better. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a Hakata lunch to eat hamburg steak. A rare hamburger and raw steak were served, allowing me to eat it to my liking. However, I was warned to cook it through the middle, so it might not be okay to eat it rare. They also had 100 yen highballs, so I was very satisfied.

I had been bookmarking this place for a while, but never had the chance to visit during my business trips to Hakata. Today, I finally made it a point to come here. Even though it's a weekday, there was a line. I waited for about 10 minutes before getting in. I ordered the hamburger and Gokumiya's beef dish set! Eating while grilling is a great style, and the food stays hot the whole time. The Gokumiya's beef dish was delicious too! I didn't take any photos, but I ended up getting a large serving and putting it all on top of rice like a beef bowl! It was so tasty. I am beyond full now. I will definitely come back! Thank you for the meal!

I headed to Gokumiyaki restaurant for the first time in 9 years. Last time, I went to the Tenjin branch, but this time I visited the Hakata branch near Hakata Station. I accidentally went counterclockwise around the bus center, which led to a no-crossing zone. It would have been helpful to have some explanation. Finally, I arrived safely at my seat and ordered the "L200g Hamburger" and a Highball (110 yen). When asked if I wanted it charcoal-grilled or teppanyaki style, I chose charcoal-grilled as recommended. I opted for the standard sauce from Gokumiyaki. The chopsticks were interesting, with both aluminum and bamboo options. Surprisingly, the 100 yen Highball was quite good, not as watery as I expected. When the main dish, the hamburger, arrived, the charcoal-grilled aroma was delightful. It was recommended, indeed. I used the aluminum chopsticks to grill the meat and the bamboo ones to dip it in the sauce. The combination of the smoky flavor and the sweet sauce was delicious. However, I found the meat to be a bit tough, which made it hard to eat. I ended up ordering extra rice to enjoy the meat with it. Grilling the meat on the pellet, dipping it in the sauce, and putting it on the rice made for a tasty meal. But the toughness of the meat was a downside. I don't think I will be visiting again. Thank you for the meal.

I usually go to the Parco store, but this time I had lunch at Gokumiya at Hakata Station. Before the pandemic, there used to be long lines here, but now it's calmed down. I ate a raw hamburger lightly grilled on a hot stone, but the stone cools down quickly so I had to ask for it to be replaced twice. The food is delicious, but there are some staff members who may not be suited for customer service. I recommend enjoying the hamburger without expecting much in terms of service and quickly leaving the restaurant.

I went back to Yamaguchi for a visit! I was planning to just pass by Hakata, but there was no way I could miss out on the authentic tonkotsu ramen. Even though there was always a long line at "Gokumiyaki," I miraculously managed to get in line this time. I had to go for it! As an appetizer before the ramen, I tried the hamburger steak. [Restaurant Notes] - Established in 2001 as a yakiniku restaurant. They became famous for their secret menu item, the hamburger steak, which led to them opening a hamburger steak specialty store. - Gokumiyaki's hamburger steak specialty stores are located in 5 different places. There are 3 stores in Fukuoka, as well as stores in Namba and Shibuya. [What I Ordered] - Charcoal-grilled hamburger steak (S size, 120g) for 979 yen - Rice, salad, miso soup, soft serve ice cream set for 385 yen After waiting for about 10 minutes, the hamburger steak, which was only grilled on the surface, arrived. I split the hamburger steak with my chopsticks and pressed the torn meat onto the hot stone to eat it. The meat was roughly ground, without any onions, and with minimal binding agents. It was grilled well to create a crispy texture and a fragrant taste. Delicious!! The most popular sweet sauce was also tasty, but personally, I preferred eating it without the sauce to fully enjoy the flavor of the meat. Thank you for the meal! ✨

I had a set meal of 150g garlic chips topping, rice, miso soup, salad, and soft serve ice cream for 350 yen! It's great that you can have unlimited refills of rice, miso soup, salad, and soft serve ice cream. I was too busy grilling to really taste the flavors, haha. It might have been delicious? Once you get the hang of grilling and switching between cooking and eating chopsticks, you'll be able to enjoy the flavors more, haha. I recommend lining up 10 minutes before opening at this restaurant. The seating is limited and the turnover rate isn't very high, so this is probably the best way to minimize your wait time.

Hamburg steak restaurant located behind Hakata Bus Terminal. The interior has only a counter. I ordered the famous stone-grilled hamburg steak for the first time. What came out was raw hamburg steak. I had to tear it apart and cook it myself, which was quite challenging. The taste was delicious with coarsely ground meat. Next time, I would like to try the type that is already cooked. Thank you for the meal!

The hamburgers are amazing! The quality of the meat is high, and the thick patty is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There are plenty of toppings and sauce options to choose from, and you'll leave feeling satisfied. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy, and the staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the money. This is a must-visit spot for hamburger lovers.
