Opened recently and already featured on TV, this shop has been a hot topic. Although it has "cafe club" in its name, it is more of a soft-serve ice cream stand than a cafe. Located near the station, locals might be surprised to find such a trendy shop in that area. Originally from Nagoya, the shop has moved to Numabukuro, and it seems like a mini-trend for popular shops from various places to relocate to Nakano Ward, like the recently reviewed "Isai Tokyo." The shop's signature menu item is a vibrant red strawberry soft-serve ice cream, which is not only visually appealing but also limited edition. The current limited edition flavor is "Chocolate Fondue Soft-Serve Ice Cream," which is exciting for chocolate lovers like myself. The shop only offers soft-serve ice cream, with no drinks or other options. The shop is open only during the day from Friday to Monday, closed on weekdays. I visited on a weekday, and it was surprisingly quiet, with no lines compared to the weekend scene. The staff, possibly a couple, took orders and payment (cash only) at the same time. I received my order promptly as there were no other customers at that time. It's the season for delicious ice cream, but also a race against time as it melts quickly. I struggled to take photos as my hands were shaking and ended up with blurry shots. The first bite of the strawberry soft-serve ice cream revealed a strong acidity from the strawberries, which balanced nicely with the sweetness of the ice cream. The soft-serve ice cream had a rich and creamy texture, with intricate patterns similar to Mont Blanc, adding to the overall experience. Although there is no seating available, I managed to enjoy my ice cream inside the shop, standing up. The shop also had a no eating or drinking policy while standing, which made me feel slightly awkward being the only customer eating while the two staff members watched. The cone was delicious, and I appreciated the attention to detail in how it was served. However, I thought it would be nice to have the option of a cup for those who prefer to take their ice cream to a cooler place to enjoy it slowly. The shop had Instagrammable walls and a platform for taking cute photos, but I personally value a calm eating environment over aesthetics. I realized that my preferences may have changed since I started reviewing on Tabelog, where I have become more conscious of the dining environment. The ice cream was delicious, but I finished it quickly and left the shop feeling a bit out of place. Despite that, if they release another intriguing limited edition flavor, I may visit again without hesitation!
