ゆっこ邸
Oh, the first half of the year is over... Hello, it's Yukko. September was the month with the biggest event of the year, so now that it's over, it feels like we've passed the peak of the year... I'm currently in a bit of a dilemma about how to spend the rest of the year. Ah, what should I do next?! I went to the Yakitori and Hichinai Chicken specialty store "Yotsuya Imaiyahonten" to vent and enjoy some delicious food. In my opinion, it's more of a small dishes restaurant than a yakitori place. Although it's called the "main store," Imaiya stores are generally referred to as the "main store." It's a bit unique that the main store is in Ebisu. I was seated at the counter where I could see lots of "Juyondai" lined up, which got me excited. I ordered the "Tsuru Rei" for 1,000 yen from the sake menu, which is perfect for autumn. My sake movement is unstoppable...! (Just like with wine, I only drink "delicious sake"!) (Since a one-sho bottle of sake is difficult to store in the refrigerator due to its size, I think the best way to enjoy it is to have it served in 1-go portions outside. Or maybe I should go ransack the house of a sake-loving colleague who bought a "commercial refrigerator"...) We started with the appetizer for 480 yen, which was elegant and delicious. Then, I tried the seasonal recommended item, Branch Edamame for 880 yen. You can choose between hot and cold options, and the staff recommended the hot one, so I ordered that. As we chatted, it naturally cooled down, so in the end, I got to taste both the hot and cold versions. I also tried the Sunagimo for 350 yen and Seseri for 450 yen, which are both parts with a good texture, especially with Hichinai Chicken. The rare parts vary depending on the day, so it's important to check that too. The Skin for 390 yen was delicious on the hot plate! For my second drink, I had the Koganezawa for 900 yen. I couldn't decide between the Miso Yaki and Isonabe Yaki, but the staff kindly cut one into two for me. I preferred the Isonabe Yaki! Rice goes well with seaweed and soy sauce, as expected. To finish, I had the Matsutake Dobinmushi for 1,200 yen. I had planned to end with this dish from the beginning. Once you spot the Dobinmushi, you can't skip it, right?! It was a night where I could feel the autumn vibes.
