Near Hakata Station, on the 2nd floor of the ANA Hotel, there is a long-established Chinese restaurant. I wanted to have a delicious Chinese lunch, so I searched and found this place. I made a reservation through the restaurant's website, using Tablecheck. When I arrived at 11:30, there was only one group of customers, but later on, more customers arrived, and the restaurant was almost full. I ordered the "Shanghai Crab Gourmet Lunch (3000 yen including tax and service charge)." - Tea: They served tea before I even asked, which was a nice touch. It would be great if they could serve it in a teapot. - Seasonings: Soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil were provided, along with mustard and doubanjiang. - Appetizer assortment: The presentation was beautiful. The steamed shrimp and jellyfish were classic dishes, and I enjoyed the flavors. - Abalone soup: The abalone flavor was not very prominent, but the soup had a thick texture with plenty of beaten eggs. It was a filling dish. - Shanghai crab xiaolongbao, jade dumplings, and shumai: The xiaolongbao had a light crab miso flavor, which was delicious. The jade dumplings had chopped shrimp inside, which I liked. However, I'm not a fan of shumai. - Beef tenderloin steak with whole grain mustard sauce: The tenderloin had a slight chewiness, but it was sufficient for the price. The sauce had a great flavor. I had some sauce left over, so I dipped the raw vegetables in it. - Shanghai crab sauce fried rice: Topped with shrimp, squid, and thinly sliced scallops, the sauce had a subtle Shanghai crab flavor. The fried rice was moist and delicious, especially when eaten with the sauce. - Dessert: The mango pudding had a nice mango paste flavor. The steamed castella cake was a classic and I enjoyed it. The milk crepe was good as well. Considering the price and that it wasn't a "Shanghai crab course," I was satisfied with the flavors of the xiaolongbao and fried rice. Each dish was small, but after finishing everything, I was full. The service was polite, in line with the hotel's standards, and it was convenient for solo diners.

It seems that there were many elderly groups, but there were also families with children. We had pre-booked the "Shanghai crab gourmet lunch". While waiting for it to come out, we enjoyed some beer. We had scallops and shrimp appetizers with our beer. Then we had some delicious egg soup. It seems they start steaming as soon as you sit down. The group next to us ordered a dim sum buffet, and we heard that it takes about 10-15 minutes for the orders to be steamed. Just as they were ready, we got our xiaolongbao. There were supposed to be 3, but I couldn't resist the Shanghai crab-filled one. It was so delicious with the sweetness of the crab. We also had a steak dish, which was a nice break from the Chinese flavors. When we wanted fried rice, they brought us a delicious ankake fried rice with Shanghai crab and big shrimp. The shrimp's firm texture and slight saltiness, along with the sweet aroma of the crab, were a great combination with the fluffy rice and the sauce. I wish I could have had seconds of that fried rice. Finally, we had a warm Chinese sponge cake, almond tofu, and milk crepe. It was an interesting mix of Chinese and Western desserts.

I used it for a friend's birthday. It was a 4500 yen course. The service and the food were excellent. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, the flavors were elegant and very delicious, and I was satisfied. I would like to use it again for another event.

Buffet for 2 people~ Started with appetizers such as shrimp chili and sweet and sour pork, then placed orders. Noodles, rice dishes, soups, and desserts can be ordered per person, while dim sum items can be ordered in sets of 2. The steamed shrimp dumplings, special shumai, chive buns, squid shumai, squid balls, shrimp with dried scallop and egg white sauce, squid XO sauce, shrimp mayo, shrimp chili, chimaki, and sesame balls were particularly delicious.

The dim sum order buffet (lunch) is very delicious! It's not fair to compare, but it's twice as tasty as the dim sum served at chain restaurants in the area. Since it's an order buffet, you don't have to go pick up the food and everything you order is delicious. The service is also quick! It would be even better if there were a few more options on the menu. The staff were friendly. It's a bit cramped and closed off because there are no windows, but that can't be helped. I would like to go back again.

Visited with my child. Because it is a high-class hotel with high-class Chinese cuisine, people may give you a disapproving look if your child is noisy. There were many foreigners, so I felt that they were somewhat tolerant of children. The dinner was a buffet with high-class Chinese dishes. The menu consisted of familiar Chinese dishes, but the portions were small, so I kept ordering more. There was nothing that didn't taste good. However, it wasn't a place where you eat aggressively. I will visit again if there is a special promotion. Thank you for the meal.

The Chinese food at the hotel is delicious. And it's all-you-can-eat, which is very satisfying. The Beijing Duck and Shrimp Chili are both available for unlimited orders. You can order as much as you like. The quality of everything is at a hotel standard. You won't be disappointed. The service is professional, so additional orders are smooth. You can have meat, salad, fish, or anything else you like. The soup, rice, noodles, and desserts are all very tasty.

At Momo Ki, a dim sum buffet on the 2nd floor of ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in front of Hakata Station, I made a reservation in advance and arrived at a packed restaurant. The dim sum buffet is order-style, where you choose what you want from the menu. I was a bit unsure about the portion size at first, so I ordered cautiously. Each dish was carefully prepared, and the freshly fried and steamed hot dishes were delicious. I was able to enjoy the dim sum buffet to my heart's content.

I felt like having dim sum so I visited this restaurant. We were first served with appetizers, shrimp chili, and sweet and sour pork, and I was worried about the portion size, but it was actually very reasonable. We ordered a variety of dishes (I forgot to take pictures of many). The food was delicious, but not mind-blowing. The shrimp chili, radish cake, and almond jelly were really good. However, I felt that the dumplings had thicker skins than I would have liked. Overall, I was satisfied with the quality of food for the price. In terms of service, they were attentive in clearing plates and quick to respond when we wanted to order more. Their observation skills were impressive. The only downside was the tea. Since it's a dim sum restaurant, tea should come with the meal. It's a shame that they overlooked the tea aspect despite being attentive in other areas. Thank you for the meal!

(2022.12.12) As winter approaches, the seasonal delicacy "Shanghai crab" is known for its high price and difficulty to eat, which may deter some people from trying it. However, as the season comes to an end, I decided to enjoy a lunch course featuring Shanghai crab miso. I visited the Chinese restaurant "Tao Li" at ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka, where I was greeted by friendly staff and led to a table in a luxurious setting. The restaurant exuded a high-class ambiance with its elegant decor and serene color scheme. The highlight of the meal was the "Shanghai Crab Lunch" available until the 25th of this month, which also featured other delicious ingredients from Nagasaki, such as Yunzen Akagyu beef, in celebration of the opening of the West Kyushu Shinkansen. The meal started with a "TAO-LI Special Seasonal Cold Appetizer Platter" featuring tender duck meat, scallops with scallion sauce, jellyfish, salted shrimp, and cherry tomatoes, offering a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Next, we enjoyed a "Seafood and Egg White Soup with Aosa Seaweed from Tsushima," which had a delicate broth with fluffy egg whites, tender shrimp, and the freshness of squid and scallops, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The "Seafood and Seasonal Vegetable Stir-Fried with Shanghai Crab Miso" dish featured zucchini, water squid, scallops, and northern clams stir-fried with Shanghai crab miso, offering a rich umami flavor enhanced by the sweetness of the leeks. The "Shanghai Crab Miso Xiao Long Bao" was a steaming hot dumpling filled with a flavorful soup and Shanghai crab miso, providing a burst of umami with a hint of spiciness from the accompanying chili sauce. The meal continued with a "Yunzen Akagyu Beef Stir-Fried with Black Beans," showcasing the tender texture and rich flavor of Akagyu beef paired with black bean sauce, complemented by crispy tempura of young corn, shishito pepper, and cherry tomato. The "Shanghai Crab Miso Sauce Fried Rice with Thick Sauce" was a savory fried rice dish topped with crab roe and crab meat, offering a satisfying end to the meal. To conclude, a "Dessert Platter" was served with warm Oolong tea, featuring freshly fried sesame dumplings and refreshing almond jelly for a delightful finish to the meal. Overall, I appreciated the opportunity to enjoy Shanghai crab in a more approachable and delicious way. The elegant ambiance, attentive service, and delectable dishes at "Tao Li" made for a memorable dining experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.

■Overall Impression I visited this restaurant because I was able to take a weekday off. When I was young, I didn't really like order-style buffets because they felt a bit overwhelming, but now I find them to be delicious. The fact that the food is freshly made and worth the 3500 yen without any food waste makes this format appealing to me now. I had previously enjoyed a Chinese buffet in Osaka (Reika at Moriguchi Station), so I thought this place would be similar, but it was even better. I definitely want to go back. ■Appetizers The first dishes that come out are: - Jellyfish cold dish - Special char siu - Steamed chicken with sesame sauce The expectation for the course is set by the first dish, and the jellyfish cold dish was incredibly delicious. ■Corn Soup The corn soup with a Chinese twist was able to bring out the deliciousness of the ingredients. It was really tasty. ■Egg Soup This soup was different from the corn soup, but it was really delicious. This is what makes buffets amazing. ■Boiled Water Squid with Green Onions and Ginger This dish was amazing. It was served in sets of three, and the squid was delicious with excellent seasoning. ■Steamed Dumplings Since I couldn't eat a lot of dim sum at the buffet in Osaka, I indulged in these dumplings. They were of high quality and very chewy. ■Xiaolongbao The second dim sum dish was piping hot. I can handle hot food relatively well, so I enjoyed it. The chewiness was great. ■Steamed Dumplings with Shrimp and Special Shumai Another round of dim sum. The shrimp dumplings were a step up from what I usually like, and the special shumai was the most delicious dim sum of the day. ■Spring Rolls These fried spring rolls were incredibly crispy. The frying technique was excellent. ■Boiled Water Shrimp with Dried Scallop Sauce This dish was very white in appearance. It was really delicious, and I wanted to eat more, but there were so many other dishes to try. ■Pork and Bell Pepper Soup Soba Surprisingly, the most delicious dish was this one. It would easily make it to the top five ramen dishes in Fukuoka. The noodles were incredibly delicious. ■Chewy Dumpling Ball Soup This was the hottest dish of the day. It was extremely hot, but also incredibly chewy. It was irresistible. ■Fried Daikon Cake A bit oily, but still delicious. It had a texture similar to hash browns, but the sweetness of the daikon was great. ■Sticky Rice Ball This rice dish was like a chicken rice dish, but with sticky rice. It was chewy throughout. ■Dessert There were six dessert options, and they were all delicious. The sesame dumplings were particularly tasty. Thank you for the meal.

In between my schedule, I had Chinese food at the hotel's basement. I thought it was a trendy place because they recommended the large xiaolongbao, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of other dishes as well. I appreciated that they could accommodate large groups.

Dim sum order buffet is 3900 yen for Saturday use. The small portions allowed us to order a variety of dishes, which was great. The quality of the food was good for a buffet, and overall, we were satisfied with the delicious dishes. I especially loved the plump and tasty shrimp. We couldn't try all the items since there were only two of us, so next time, we want to go with three people and try everything.

I visited the Chinese restaurant "Tao Li" at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Fukuoka after hearing that their sweet and sour pork was delicious. The restaurant had a chic atmosphere and I ordered the Tao Li Lunch [Weekdays only] which cost 2300 yen including tax. The lunch set included a choice of 2 main dishes from a selection of 5, plus dim sum, soup, rice, pickles, and dessert. I chose the sweet and sour pork and the scallop and seasonal vegetable stir-fry. The egg drop soup was rich and flavorful, setting a happy tone for the meal. The sweet and sour pork was tender and delicious, cooked with high-quality meat. The scallop and vegetable stir-fry featured scallops that were plump and fresh, with a subtle hint of spiciness. The dim sum included siu mai and crystal dumplings, and the dessert was almond jelly, which was average. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. Each dish was well-crafted and delicious. I usually enjoy casual Chinese dining, but dining at this hotel Chinese restaurant was a nice change. I will definitely be back to Tao Li for more delicious meals! P.S. The main dishes seem to change monthly, so make sure to check for new options on your next visit!

You can enjoy a slightly luxurious weekend lunch at the Chinese restaurant in ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Tenjin/Fukuoka area. You can walk in without a reservation. The restaurant has a chic and classical atmosphere with spacious tables. There seems to be private rooms in the back, as you can hear lively voices. The Saturday menu includes courses starting from 2900 yen, as well as a la carte and popular order buffet options. The ordered Shanghai crab gourmet lunch costs 3000 yen (including tax and service charge) and includes appetizers, soup, dim sum, beef fillet steak, Shanghai crab sauce fried rice, and dessert. The appetizers include white fish nanban-zuke, duck, Chinese jellyfish, shrimp, and raw fish rolls. The meal starts with tangy dishes that stimulate the appetite. The soup is a crab and egg white soup, and the dim sum platter includes crab-filled xiaolongbao, steamed shrimp, and savory shumai. The beef fillet steak is tender and lightly seasoned with oyster sauce. The Shanghai crab sauce fried rice is flavorful with a generous amount of seafood and rich crab flavor. The dessert includes milk crepe, mango pudding, and hot sesame dumplings, which go well with the jasmine tea served as a service. It was a rare luxurious lunch experience. The menu may change depending on the season. The service included a small dish of caramelized walnuts while waiting for the appetizers. A family with small children next to me was enjoying the buffet. I am curious about the dim sum buffet here, but I opted for the course since I was dining alone. There are more casual lunch options available on weekdays. The restaurant is a 3-minute walk from Hakata Station. Lunch is served from 11:30am to 2:30pm (last order at 2:00pm) and dinner from 5:30pm to 9:00pm (last order at 8:30pm). Closed on Wednesdays. Takeout menu and parking available. Please check the official website for details when visiting.

Go To Eat Campaign Round 3. I went to the Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor of ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Fukuoka for lunch. I made a reservation for the "Colorful and Healthy Lunch Mini Course" (2,800 yen) on ikkyu.com restaurant website and headed there. The interior of the restaurant is based on a deep red color, creating a calm, chic, and modern atmosphere. I was guided to a table for four people. I reserved the healthy lunch plan which includes coffee after the meal. The menu included: - Assorted appetizers - Assorted steamed dim sum - Shrimp in chili sauce and mayonnaise stir-fry - Two kinds of beef dishes - Choice of noodles or fried rice: Black sesame tantan noodles, Pork soup soba with finely chopped pork, Yi mein noodles, Crab meat fried rice - Assorted desserts - Coffee or tea The assorted appetizers included three varieties. The jellyfish had a nice crunchy texture and a strong flavor. The shrimp was plump and had a satisfyingly firm texture. The dim sum had a delicious flavor that slowly spread in your mouth. The fried rice was coated evenly on each grain of rice, not sticky or greasy, and very tasty. However, the dish was a bit difficult to eat due to the slanted plate. The most delicious part was the dessert. The Chinese steamed buns were fluffy and flavorful, with a moist and punchy sweetness, and a refreshing freshness. Each dessert was delicious in its own way. Despite being a lunch mini course, it had a good flow, filling me up with the fried rice and then sending me to heaven with the dessert. Considering the risk of COVID-19, it was reassuring to have spacious table seating and enough distance between tables.

I felt like eating cold noodles around Hakata Station, so I went into this restaurant inside ANA Hotel. Fukuoka's hotels all have great Chinese restaurants, so I had high expectations when I entered. The menu had a luxurious seafood cold noodle for 3000 yen, but it was being offered for 2000 yen at the moment, so I chose that without hesitation. The cold noodles arrived in about 15 minutes, and although the word "luxurious" on the menu may lead to disappointment in terms of expectations, the sauce was just right and paired well with the noodles, making it worth savoring on its own.

This is a Chinese restaurant located inside the ANA Crown Hotel in front of Hakata Station. I always use it whenever I accumulate miles (^^;) You can eat lunch dim sum buffet for around 3000 yen. Today, I didn't have much time, so I had a busy meal, but it was delicious (^^)d There are plenty of desserts available, so I'm very happy about that♪ Recommended dishes include steamed shrimp dumplings, special dumplings from Tairyo, lettuce with oyster sauce, five-meat wrapped fried mochi, and chocolate wrapped fried mochi, etc. Especially the fried mochi series has a crispy coating and is very delicious (^-^)v

I had lunch at a Chinese restaurant near Hakata Station called Tairyu Chinese. They offer a dim sum buffet where you can order as much as you want, and everything is made fresh. The atmosphere is luxurious and the service is polite. There are plenty of dishes to choose from, and you can enjoy them with Chinese tea or alcohol. The portion sizes are relatively small, so even if there are two people, you can order a variety of dishes. Unlike some other places where you have to order dishes for the number of people dining, here you can order one dish at a time. Fried rice and noodles are quite filling, so save them for later. Everything I tried was delicious, but the standout was the "Tairyu Special Shumai". Highly recommended. The restaurant was not crowded that day, and I was satisfied with the excellent hotel service. The private rooms in the back seem perfect for gatherings like mom meetings or family outings. Thank you for the meal.

We really wanted to eat dim sum, so we made a reservation for three and went. Once we ordered, the dishes were brought to us in steam baskets. We asked for Chinese tea in a pot for drinks. It had been a while since we had dim sum, but everything was delicious and we were happy to be able to try a variety of dishes with three people. It's a bit pricey for lunch, but I would like to visit again sometime.
