The motsunabe and basashi were delicious. I usually prefer soy sauce, but following the waiter's recommendation to try the miso-flavored motsunabe was the right choice. All the waiters were friendly, but the male waiter's attentiveness was exceptional, and I was glad I made a reservation at this restaurant. It was a shame that I couldn't finish the motsunabe as I was dining alone.

I have been staying in Kumamoto on business trips to Kyushu recently, but I stayed in Hakata for one night after a long time. My junior colleague, who is new to Hakata, wanted to try some Hakata-style food, so we searched on Tabelog and found this restaurant for our first visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and we opted for the 5000 yen course with all-you-can-drink. The dishes that came out and the service from the staff were excellent. I think it's a very good restaurant!

This was my first visit. I wanted to eat motsunabe, so I searched around and found this place on Tabelog, then made a reservation and visited. The side menu is also great, especially the chicken wings. There are two types, but I liked the normal one. Please try it. The motsunabe is also delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go again. I took a photo of the motsunabe after eating a little, so I forgot to take it first because I was so impressed by the chicken wings haha. Too bad!

The seared mackerel appetizer, sesame mackerel (which was actually amberjack at the time), vinegar motsu (offal), chicken wings, and of course motsunabe (soy sauce) were all made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, making them all very delicious. The staff were all friendly and provided excellent service, making the overall dining experience very satisfying. This meal became an unforgettable part of my first trip to Fukuoka! Thank you! I read in magazines and reviews that the miso motsunabe is a recommended dish, so I definitely want to visit again to try it out.

I made a reservation in advance before visiting the restaurant. When I arrived, it seemed like most of the seats were already filled with reservations. I ordered the sesame mackerel and miso offal hot pot. Since mackerel was not available due to spawning season, it was replaced with sesame flounder, which was incredibly delicious. The offal hot pot was also flavorful and fantastic. I ended the meal with champon noodles and zosui, making it a perfect lunch.

Visited during the weekend when they offer lunch service. Ordered the recommended miso motsunabe and it was delicious. Personally, it was the best motsunabe I've ever had. The vegetables were fresh and tasty. For the finale, I debated between champon noodles but ended up choosing zosui (rice porridge). Completely satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I traveled to Hakata and decided to visit this popular restaurant that I heard about. I ordered the miso flavor of motsunabe, which is famous here, and reserved a private room. The room was spacious and the air conditioning was working well, making it comfortable to enjoy the motsunabe. As for the taste, it was absolutely delicious! The motsu was chewy and the finely chopped burdock added a nice touch. We also ordered the famous tebasaki wings in both sweet and regular flavors. Personally, I preferred the regular salty flavor, but the sweet one was also tasty and provided a nice change in taste. The service was excellent as well! They quickly responded when we pressed the call button and the food was served promptly. Despite being hungry like hyenas, my friend and I were able to enjoy the meal peacefully. We also ordered mentaiko, which is a must in Hakata. The generous portion of mentaiko was delicious, not too salty, and went well with rice. It also tasted great when added to the motsunabe for a flavor variation. I would definitely visit this restaurant again when in Hakata.

It felt like a popular restaurant, but when I entered, I was told there was a 1.5-hour time limit. Around 1 hour in, even though our order hadn't all arrived yet, we were told to "pay the bill." The last order we made arrived 15 minutes before our time was up, and it took time to cook in the pot, but we were pressured to finish quickly and rushed to eat. I didn't feel satisfied after eating... The taste was okay, but it may depend on personal preference. There was a lot of fat and the miso was too sweet for me... However, my friend who went with me seemed very satisfied and said it was delicious. The horse sashimi was delicious. The kanpachi, which was a substitute for sesame mackerel, was also okay. Personally, I probably won't go back.

It was my first time trying motsunabe, so I searched and made a reservation for THE motsunabe. When I arrived on a weekday night, the restaurant was full and the overseas customers who arrived at the same time were told there was a 30-minute wait. Each table had one type of soup. Although the restaurant was known for their miso soup, I chose THE motsunabe with soy sauce. I ordered "Wagyu motsunabe with soy sauce" for ¥1694, "Additional menu: Champon noodles" for ¥319, "Premium lean horse sashimi" for ¥2079, "Draft beer Ichiban Shibori" for ¥660, "Highball with Suntory whiskey" for ¥550, and "Appetizer" for ¥418. The appetizer of the day was bonito. The horse sashimi was tender and had no unpleasant smell. The slightly sweet soy sauce from Kyushu was a good match. Once the leeks were cooked, the motsunabe arrived. The soup was delicious and the motsu was chewy with little smell. The cabbage cooked in the soup was incredibly tasty. I decided to finish with the champon noodles, although the zosui also looked good. I had plans to go to another place afterwards, so I held back on eating too much. The highball here comes with a slice of lemon! It was delicious with the carbonation still intact. Thank you for the meal!

The atmosphere was nice, but for the price, I didn't feel that impressed. The motsunabe was more on the creamy side, which didn't quite suit my preference for broth-based hot pot. Also, it was disappointing that they didn't have sesame mackerel in the summer. Instead, they served yellowtail.

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a local and was most impressed by the delicious amberjack sashimi. It was so fresh and flavorful, a first for me! The tuna sashimi served as an appetizer was also surprisingly tasty. The motsunabe hot pot was a great deal at 1,700 yen for such a generous portion. While the tripe itself wasn't particularly remarkable, the broth was delicious. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and personalized welcome card with the reservation name added a special touch to the experience.

The reservation name "Omori" was placed on the table as a thank you note, which was a nice touch. The motsu (offal) was excellent and the table was spacious, which was appreciated. The atmosphere felt more like a cozy home than an izakaya. The service was good, and the beer (Asahi Super Dry) was delicious. The motsu was tender and flavorful, the best I've had compared to other motsu nabe restaurants I've been to. We didn't order champon as a finishing dish, but overall it was a satisfying meal.

A few minutes' walk from Gion Station in Fukuoka is a restaurant that specializes in motsunabe (offal hot pot). There are several motsunabe restaurants nearby, so it seems like a competitive area. One good thing about this place is that they have counter seating for solo diners, so you can feel comfortable dining alone. I ordered the miso-flavored motsunabe and chicken wings. The chicken wings come in two flavors: regular and sweet, and you can order just one piece, which is nice. The bottom line is that the chicken wings were delicious. They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, so good that I could eat many more. The sweet flavor had powder and honey on it, which was appetizing too. The motsunabe had a rich soup and fresh offal, making it seem like you could eat endless amounts. The only downside was that there was a bit less offal. I think it's worth coming here just for the chicken wings.

The chicken wings and wagyu tripe hot pot were delicious! The beef tripe was... The hot pot comes with a choice of miso, soy sauce, ponzu, or spicy broth, and we chose soy sauce. It was refreshing with just the right amount of garlic, and we enjoyed it until the end without getting tired of it. The beef tripe was soft and tender, and there was a surprisingly large amount of cabbage, but we finished it all easily. However, it would be even better if the cabbage had a bit more crunch left when served. Thank you for the meal.

It is located right near Kushida Shrine. It faces a slightly narrow road. Light-hearted shamisen music was playing. It seemed to be a popular place, and although we didn't have a reservation, we were able to just make it in. The appetizer was hamo, a summer staple in Kansai, which was surprising to find in Kyushu. It was served with plum paste, similar to how it is done in Kansai, but it was decent. Before the motsu nabe, we tried the Hakata tebasaki, a hidden specialty in Hakata. It wasn't the easiest to eat, but it was juicy and delicious, different from the Nagoya style. The main dish, motsu nabe, was recommended to be the white miso-based one. The ingredients were mainly motsu and cabbage, and it was light and easy to eat. The head chef and the staff were friendly, and we had a pleasant dining experience. I would definitely like to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Hakata Motsunabe Tokunagaya. You can choose from miso, soy sauce, or ponzu flavors, and the photo shows the miso flavor. The motsu (offal) was so good that it tasted sweet, it was amazing. There are motsunabe restaurants in Tokyo as well, but Tokunagaya is highly recommended when you come to Fukuoka!

I visited a restaurant in Fukuoka with a friend for dinner. We had high expectations for motsunabe, a famous dish in Hakata, and we were not disappointed. The motsunabe looked delicious and tasted amazing, with tender and flavorful motsu. The other dishes were also delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely visit this restaurant again on my next trip to Fukuoka!

We visited as a family of four. We had made a reservation in advance and were led to a private room. We ordered the miso-flavored motsunabe, and the broth was excellent! We also ordered additional meat, and the chicken wings were delicious. The variety of alcohol, including sake and shochu, was abundant. The horse liver sashimi was also excellent, and we were very satisfied with our experience!

I don't usually eat motsunabe, so I can't really compare it to others, but it was so delicious!! I love how they subtly bring out the miso flavor!! And the motsu was so tasty!! I definitely want to eat it again!!
