On a certain day in March 2022, on the first day of my trip to Hakata, after a fun time at the 5th bar, Voeux, the 4th stop was seeking a finale at Buta Soba Tsukaya Honten. It was an incredibly delicious Chinese ramen, but when I tried to review it, I found out they had moved. So, skipping one review, the 5th stop was "Ougyoza." Even though I had just eaten ramen, I still felt unsatisfied (*´∀`*)lol It was 1:30 AM, but there were still a lot of people. There are many options for a finale in Nakasu, but this place is still popular. The crispy fried rice is their specialty, and I had gotten takeout from here several times in the past, but fresh is definitely the best (obviously lol). I thought I didn't need any soup since I had just eaten ramen, but it still came out haha. Well, the soup was also delicious! I enjoyed the fried rice and occasionally sipped the soup. You can have this endlessly (* ॑꒳ ॑* )ネー The gyoza I ordered as a beer snack was also fantastic. As expected, the finale in Nakasu is superb. Thank you for the meal!

I happened to pass by and saw a line, so I peeked inside the store and saw that the counter was full of customers. I looked it up and found out that it had high ratings on Tabelog! Even though I was already full, I decided to wait in line since I was here. The gyoza had handmade chewy skin and the ramen was light and delicious! It was a fantastic restaurant for those who love Chinese food in the city!

Private trip to Hakata with a perfect guide from my gourmet junior colleague, this being the 4th stop of the day's food crawl. When asked "What do you want to eat?", my response of "Gyoza!" led us to the restaurant 'Ou Gyoza'. Despite it being around 6pm on a weekday, the place was already full and it was said to get even busier later in the night. To put it simply, the food was just amazing! The gyoza had a perfect crispy texture. We also tried the liver and leek stir-fry, char siu, and fried rice, all of which were delicious! We didn't have ramen as we wanted to try another place, but it looked so tempting! I definitely want to come back here. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was recommended to come here by a friend, and wow, the fried rice and dumplings were amazing!! We were having so much fun that we forgot to take pictures! It was the perfect way to end the meal! I definitely want to come back when I'm in Fukuoka again! My friend's soy sauce ramen also looked delicious!

Wow, it's been a while since I enjoyed a meal here. As always, the food was amazing, thank you! Even though I was already full, I was able to enjoy the ramen and fried rice. The atmosphere was great, just as expected in Hakata. If you're out drinking until late at night, this place is a must-visit.

There is a famous eel restaurant nearby, but it's already closed. I decided to have ramen instead. I chose a highly rated ramen shop and was quickly seated at the counter. I ordered the original Hakata soy sauce ramen and a serving of one-bite gyoza. The food was served in about 10 minutes. The ramen had a rich soy sauce flavor and was delicious. The gyoza was easy to eat and tasty. I paid 1300 yen with my phone and then went to the convenience store.

When it comes to soy sauce ramen in Nakasu, Fukuoka, there is a popular long-established restaurant that is so famous that it has become the standard for soy sauce ramen in Fukuoka. The Hakata soy sauce ramen and gyoza at Ougyoza are always in high demand, with the restaurant constantly packed. While waiting for the soy sauce ramen, regular customers enjoy beer and gyoza. However, for those in the know, the limited-time summer special cold noodles are incredibly delicious. Even people who don't usually go to Ougyoza will visit just to try these noodles, such is their cult following. On this particular day, amidst the sweltering heat and tropical night, the cold noodles were calling my name. Luckily, I was able to get in without waiting in line, and they hadn't sold out of the cold noodles yet. The refreshing and rich chicken broth-based cold noodle soup was so delicious that I couldn't stop myself from drinking it all up with a spoon. The noodles were chewy and smooth, with a fantastic texture. The toppings included bean sprouts, chashu, shredded egg, ham, and shredded cabbage, which tasted amazing when slightly soaked in the soup. Adding mustard to the soup halfway through and drinking up every last drop of the soup was so satisfying on a hot day. The cold noodle soup paired with beer is a great combination. Of course, the green onion gyoza is also exceptional, with a crispy exterior and a chewy, flavorful filling. Beware, as it's easy to lose track and end up ordering endless beer and gyoza. The hidden gem of the cold noodles tends to sell out quickly, so it's best to go early. Although the price has gone up to 920 yen, it's worth it, and you'll likely find yourself craving it again this season.

First, from the exterior of the restaurant, it is a sight to behold for those who love Chinese food in town. Although the fried rice is the famous dish here, everything else looks delicious too, and as I look at the menu displayed on the wall, I can't help but salivate. Starting with the dumplings, they seem to be handmade from the skin and have a rich flavor even without any condiments. From the second bite onwards, I enjoy them with soy sauce and chili oil or vinegar and pepper. Next, the soup, which may seem simple, is actually incredibly tasty. After just one sip, I decide to save the rest for later. Probably, this soup, which seems to be common to all the dishes in this restaurant, makes everything taste delicious. I wait to order ramen and anticipate the fried rice. In the meantime, it's entertaining to watch the rice grains being stir-fried in the wok. Finally, the fried rice arrives. The rich and intense flavor really hits the spot. It's seasoned well enough to be appreciated even by someone who is drunk. I didn't try it, but I'm sure the collaboration between the soup and fried rice would be irresistible to those who love it. I vow to return again as I pay the bill.

I tried soy sauce ramen for the first time in Nakasu, without having tonkotsu ramen, and everyone I tell says "Why didn't you have tonkotsu ramen?" But I thought that if tonkotsu ramen is delicious, then soy sauce ramen must be delicious too! And it was indeed delicious!

Hello everyone, what's up? It's MoriP, who loves exploring food in Fukuoka! Today, I visited "Ou Gyoza." - Soy Sauce Ramen: The noodles are thin and chewy, with a light chicken broth soup base. Toppings include bean sprouts, char siu, and green onions. The char siu is thinly sliced and fatty, just like the old days. - Gyoza: The gyoza skin is chewy and delicious! The flavor is nice with the sweetness of the vegetables standing out.

I went to King Gyoza because I heard they have delicious food. The interior of the restaurant is non-smoking, with ashtrays placed outside. The restaurant has a traditional Chinese feel to it, with a lot of history. I ordered the fried rice (790 yen) and it was deliciously fragrant and fluffy. The restaurant accepts AirPAY for payment. They don't ask about drinks or appetizers, which I personally appreciate. The soup that came with the fried rice had a strong garlic flavor, which I'm not a big fan of.

During my high school days, I used to eat Tianjin rice twice a week. Tianjin rice is a dish where the rice is covered with a white starchy sauce and topped with only scrambled eggs. The key to the flavor was a large amount of chili oil. When I encountered the bright red Tianjin rice as an adult, I couldn't hide my surprise. I couldn't find my ideal Tianjin rice anywhere, so I had to make it myself. I decided to order at this restaurant because they offer something different from the sweet vinegar or ketchup that I dislike. It was not exactly what I had in mind, but this place really exceeded my expectations. The portion size was good too. I want to go back again. I will definitely come back.

[Visit Date] June 21, 2023 (6:00 PM) [Restaurant] I was curious about this place that has been serving soy sauce ramen for many years in Hakata at Tonkotsu Ramen Kingdom. It feels more like a local Chinese restaurant than a ramen shop, with a wide variety of menu options. This time, I ordered soy sauce ramen, yakimeshi (fried rice), and gyoza. [Dishes] <Soy Sauce Ramen> The soup was light yet flavorful. The soy sauce used seemed different from the typical Japanese soy sauce, but it had a gentle and delicious taste. The crunchy bean sprouts added a nice touch. I finished it in no time. <Yakimeshi (Fried Rice)> Honestly, the taste was average. As the name suggests, it was indeed "parapara" (fluffy), but not because of any special cooking technique, but rather because the rice was cooked quite firm (with less moisture). As a result, the rice felt quite hard, and I was disappointed with this fried rice. <Gyoza> The gyoza had a nice flavor, and it was mentioned on the table that they are delicious even without any sauce. I tried them without any sauce, and they were indeed tasty. It was also recommended to try them with chili oil or vinegar and pepper, but I personally preferred them plain. However, the gyoza were quite small bite-sized pieces, and at 500 yen for 10 small gyoza, I thought it was a bit expensive.

I want to eat delicious gyoza! So, for the third place, I entered this restaurant. It was around 8:30 pm on Saturday, but miraculously I didn't have to wait in line to get in. All the customers who came after me were lining up. However, there were a lot of staff members (I think there were more than 10), so the turnover was fast. I ordered beer and gyoza. The gyoza was cooked just right and the taste of the filling was to my liking! Delicious! And I also ordered the soy sauce ramen that I was curious about. It was delicious... Refreshing yet flavorful. Maybe because the noodles are thin, it somehow tasted like Hakata-style ramen! And the raw garlic here is incredibly delicious. I recommend putting a lot of it in. It's nice that they have various payment methods. There are many other menu items I want to try here, so it would be a waste to come alone! So, I will come back again. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious.

This time, I visited King Gyoza in Nakasu, which has been capturing the stomachs of drinkers for many years and making them addicted. The restaurant was full, so I had to wait outside for a while. Even though it was late at night on a weekday, the restaurant was still very popular. I love their fried ramen the most. One plate is enough for one person. I want to go back soon. Thank you for the meal.

I went on a business trip to Fukuoka and decided to go to this restaurant as the 4th place after drinking at Ichifu. I had gyoza and fried rice for the finale. It was recommended on YouTube before, so we were curious and went with 6 people. Luckily, there was one table available. We ordered as shown in the picture. We ordered highballs with the Chinese dishes. The gyoza was different from Hakata-style gyoza but still delicious. We could eat as many as we wanted. The fried rice is also recommended. However, the ramen at the end was too spicy for me to eat... Looking forward to trying it next time.

The fried rice was delicious, so we went to Ougaozi. We waited for about 15 minutes and finally got inside the restaurant. We ordered dumplings, fried rice with char siu, fried beef noodles, and roasted pork. The fried rice was truly amazing. It was so good that I want to go back and eat it again.

A popular restaurant always crowded with customers. Must try their small and thin-skinned Hakata dumplings and char siu fried rice. The fried rice is guilty pleasure with a burst of umami and fat when you take a bite. The chunks of char siu add a nice texture, making it incredibly satisfying. The oily vegetable stir-fry and flavorful vermicelli also do not disappoint. An addictive restaurant where you can't go wrong with anything you order.

I always used to run away when I saw a line, but tonight there were about 4 people waiting outside the store. I decided to line up this time as I have become more tolerant of lines recently. While waiting for about 5-6 minutes, I chatted with a student behind me. We looked at the menu with my friend, discussing what to order, when the guy next to us recommended the Char Siu Fried Rice, saying it's delicious. So, both of us ordered the "Crispy Yakisoba" and bottled beer. We shared our beer with the two guys next to us and they let us taste their fried rice. It was delicious! Of course, we returned the favor with our Yakisoba. The kitchen and the counter on the customer side were bustling with energy. It was a lively and uplifting place to be.

I visited Wangyoza for my third stop on my solo trip in Fukuoka. When I arrived around 9:40 pm, the restaurant was almost full, but I was able to be seated without waiting. The energetic and powerful service from the staff added to the lively atmosphere. I had already decided on ordering fried rice and dumplings, but I asked if they could make a half portion of fried rice, and they happily accommodated my request. The fried rice was delicious, with each grain coated in the savory flavor of soy sauce and a crispy texture from high heat cooking. The simple ingredients of pork belly, egg, and green onions were impactful, and the refreshing pickled vegetables on the side helped cleanse the palate. The one-bite dumplings were wrapped in homemade skins and filled with a generous amount of leeks and chives. I particularly enjoyed the unique addition of kabosu citrus, which added a refreshing touch to the crispy texture of the dumplings. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would definitely come back for their soy sauce ramen next time I visit Nakasu.
