I happened to enter the restaurant after finding out that my intended destination was closed. I saw a photo of a delicious-looking hamburger and decided to try it. They had a daily special hamburger lunch, but I wanted the demi-glace sauce, so I ordered the demi-glace cheese hamburger lunch. They mentioned that you could get refills of miso soup and rice, but I found the portion to be just right without any refills. The miso soup was rich in flavor, so be careful not to fill up on it before finishing your hamburger. The hamburger was cooked perfectly and had a great taste, but it seemed to be made from minced meat rather than ground meat, so it lacked a bit of texture and felt soft.

There is a hamburger restaurant along the street near Takadanobaba Station. It's about a 3-minute walk from the Toyama exit of Takadanobaba Station. I visited around lunchtime on a weekday. I come here about twice a year, and it's usually bustling during lunchtime. The lunch menu includes hamburgers, steaks, mixed fry, and pasta. The hamburger costs 980 yen and comes with three types of sauce - one of which is the daily special (on this day, it was plum sauce), along with the classic demi-glace and grated ponzu. They also offer a combination of cut steak and hamburger, as well as harami steak. Soft drinks can be added for an extra 100 yen. This time, I went back to basics and ordered the demi-glace hamburger with a large serving of rice.
The demi-glace hamburger costs 980 yen. Rice and miso soup are refillable, and a cup of miso soup is served first for you to enjoy before getting a refill. The waiting time for the food varies depending on how busy it is. On this day, it took about 15 minutes for the food to be served. The hamburger plate also comes with a salad and potato salad. I dug in right away. The hamburger is probably around 150g, with a juicy center that pairs well with the demi-glace sauce. The portion of the hamburger was a bit too much for the large rice serving, leaving some rice uneaten. I wished there was more sauce. The hamburger itself was consistently delicious. Payment can be made using PayPay or other QR code payments and electronic money. Next time, I might try the pasta, which I haven't experienced before.

The simmered Wagyu beef topped hamburger and tomato stew hamburger! I like my hamburgers on the softer side. The meat was tender and really delicious! The tomato stew had a rich flavor, which got a bit tiring towards the end, but it was still tasty enough to be poured over rice.

Hamburg Steak in Takadanobaba Gourmet - A hamburger steak restaurant located up the hill in front of the Don Quijote store near the station. It has a bar-like atmosphere on the street. I was curious about what kind of A5 Wagyu beef hamburger steak you could get for this price, and it was delicious! They start making it once you order, so you may have to wait a bit before it's served. The flavor of the meat is rich, and it comes with rice and soup, making it a great value for money. When I visited, there weren't many people, but soon other customers started coming in. It gets quite crowded. I was lucky with the timing, haha. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The visit to a popular restaurant for hamburgers after work seems to be a hit. The delivery person was always there to pick up orders, but we hadn't actually ordered hamburgers ourselves! The cut steak was also delicious, and the thick-cut bacon was just the right size and easy to eat. Other dishes were also good. They kindly let us know about the happy hour for alcohol before it ended. Great service!

It's January in 2023, and it's a Friday night after a tiring week at work. I felt like eating some hearty meat, so I decided to head to Takadanobaba Station without a specific place in mind. I found this hamburger steak restaurant through a search on Tabelog. It seems to be open all day, which is convenient, and they use A5 black wagyu beef as their specialty. The exterior looked a bit messy probably due to the New Year, but the interior was relatively clean. The seating was mostly high chairs, which made it a bit uncomfortable. I quickly glanced at the menu and ordered the restaurant's signature "Masao Hamburger Steak." It was a classic hamburger steak topped with chunks of beef, covered in demi-glace sauce. The beef chunks were tender, like those in beef stew. The hamburger underneath had cheese on top and had a rich flavor from using A5 black wagyu beef. The demi-glace sauce was quite strong, almost overpowering the meat's flavor. The side of grilled vegetables, including eggplant, pumpkin, and potato, was a nice touch. The rice portion was small, considering the sauce's richness, I wished there was more. The miso soup came in a small cup and was surprisingly rich, which made me a bit thirsty. After eating, I felt a bit heavy probably due to the richness of the meat. If I come back next time, I'll go for a hamburger steak with a lighter sauce. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Located about a 3-minute walk from the Todaguchi exit of Takadanobaba Station, this hamburger restaurant is situated along the Takadanobaba Station Street. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. The restaurant was about half full, with a decent amount of people. I have tried their hamburgers and steaks for lunch before, but this time I decided to try their mixed fry for the first time. Just so you know, they were out of steak that day.
- Mixed Fry Set Meal 800 yen
Free refills for miso soup and rice. While waiting, I sipped on the slightly salty miso soup and got a refill. It took about 15 minutes for the food to be served, which can be expected when it gets busy. The mixed fry included 2 shrimp fries, 2 slices of white fish, and a ham cutlet, all topped on the plate. Tartar sauce was served separately. The salad and potatoes on the side were the same as those served with the hamburgers. The frying was done well, with a crispy coating that was more crunchy than crispy. With a variety of items, it was satisfying to eat without getting bored. They accept QR code payments like PayPay. There was a handwritten sign outside saying, "We've started serving pasta. Today's pasta is mushroom arrabbiata." Maybe I'll try the pasta next time.

Hanburger Masao in Takadanobaba. Hamburg gratin (rice, miso soup refillable) for 1280 yen. Located across from the famous tonkatsu restaurant Narikura, this is a black beef specialized hamburger shop. The American diner-like interior attracts customers looking to enjoy a drink even during the day. Served on a hot iron plate, the sizzling sound and steam stimulate your appetite. Covered with plenty of white sauce and cheese, the hamburger is placed in the center with potatoes and eggplants around it. The hamburger itself is likely the type that is baked in the oven and swells up, allowing you to taste the sweet fat of the Japanese beef and the juiciness of the meat. The rice goes well with it. The miso soup, filled with various ingredients similar to pork soup, also serves as a side dish, making the free rice refill much appreciated.

I went to a restaurant that I was curious about because I happened to have some business in Takadanobaba. The restaurant was quite crowded and it seemed like there weren't enough staff. There wasn't much explanation on the menu, so I decided to order the most popular dish, the "Masuo Hamburger". It seemed like they also do services like Uber, so it took quite a long time for the food to come out, and all the customers seemed tired of waiting. The meat on top was tender and I had a feeling I had eaten it before, but I couldn't quite figure out what it was until after finishing the meal - it turned out to be beef stew.

I visited a restaurant that was featured on "Matsuko's Unknown Hamburg World" and tried the Cheese-topped Demi-Glace Sauce Hamburg for 980 yen. The restaurant has a wide entrance with two different seating areas, including bench seating and high chairs. There are two displays showing different TV programs. The lunch menu includes rice, miso soup, and salad. I also tried the Avocado Salad Hamburg, which also comes with rice and miso soup. The rice and miso soup are refillable. The miso soup had a few ingredients like enoki mushrooms, daikon radish, and Chinese cabbage. The hamburger was moist and satisfying in size. The fries were crispy and the salad dressing was tasty with a hint of garlic. The staff was friendly and the location is convenient near the station. Overall, for 1000 yen, the lunch was well-balanced with fresh vegetables and fermented foods, making it a delicious and satisfying meal.

A meat bar located along Takadanobaba Station Street parallel to the tracks at Takadanobaba Station. I visited for the first time in a while on a weekday afternoon. The inside of the restaurant didn't seem crowded. On this day, the steak was sold out, so the choices were between hamburger (with demi-glace, Japanese style grated radish, or a daily changing sauce) or mixed fry. This time I chose the demi-glace sauce. The demi-glace sauce hamburger costs 980 yen and comes with rice, miso soup with free refills, and a salad. It was served in about 10 minutes. The meat itself was consistently delicious. The demi-glace sauce was also a perfect match, and the meat was rarer than usual that day, maybe just my imagination. The miso soup was as strong as ever, with both me and my companion having the same opinion. PayPay was accepted for payment. Next time, I might try the mixed fry.

I always thought it was just a bar or pub, but after learning about it on "Matsuko's Unknown World", I decided to go in on a weekday afternoon without a reservation. It was relatively empty that day. I had a hamburger with beer as a snack. The happy hour was a good deal. I tried the avocado salad hamburger (with miso soup). Is it healthy? Well, maybe the calories are high? It was heavier than I expected. The hamburger was just delicious. It didn't have a super special feeling, but it was a menu with impact. I just had a quick drink and meal this time, but I thought it was a place where you could leisurely enjoy your drink. You can also get the hamburger to go.

Around 16:30 on a weekday. Visited without a reservation with 2 people. The interior of the restaurant was dark. There was one regular-looking middle-aged man as the only other customer. We took advantage of the happy hour for our pre-dinner drinks. You have to order at least one item per person.
- Draft beer for 200 yen (disappointed that it was served in a glass instead of a mug)
- Highball with Suntory whisky for 200 yen
- Edamame for 400 yen
- Onion slices with a soft-boiled egg on top for 480 yen
We didn't try the hamburg steak, but it looked tempting! Thank you for the meal. Total cost was 2160 yen.

I often passed by this shop and was curious about it, so I finally went there! The atmosphere and exterior have an American vibe, like a resort in Hawaii. I really like the feel of it! The service was very friendly and welcoming. I tried the delicious hamburger set for 1480 yen, which included cheeseburger, beef tongue, miso soup, and rice - a great deal for the price! The beef tongue was incredibly tender and tasty, and the hamburger was also delicious. Overall, considering the price and taste, I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again! Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Hamburger Masuo" located about a 5-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station. I had a remote meeting before work, so I was looking for a cafe-like place for lunch and came across this restaurant. I made it just in time for lunch, which is available until 3 pm, and ordered the daily lunch special. It came with a medium rare hamburger, salad, french fries, miso soup, and rice. You can have unlimited refills of rice and soup. The hamburger was well seasoned and quite juicy. It's no wonder this place ranks high on the Uber Eats list in the area. They also offer delivery and takeout services. Despite having a remote meeting, I was able to leave the restaurant without any issues.

Near my company, there is a hamburger restaurant. Their opening time is 11:30, but I usually leave work around 11:15 for lunch, so I rarely have the opportunity to visit this place haha. On this day, I left work late, so I decided to visit since they were already open. Both my friend and I ordered the Mixed Fry Set (800 yen). It comes with unlimited rice and miso soup. However, the staff didn't come to our table often, so we couldn't ask for a refill in time and ended up finishing our meal with just the side dishes.

Located along Takadanobaba Street, next to Don Quijote near Takadanobaba Station, is a restaurant specializing in hamburgers and steaks. I decided to visit for lunch on a weekday after not having been there since the beginning of the year. The restaurant was quite busy with customers. The menu is simple, offering hamburgers and steaks with various sauce options. I chose the daily chili sauce for my A5 Wagyu hamburger priced at 980 yen. The dish arrived after a short 10-minute wait, served on a plate with salad, pasta, and the hamburger. The red chili sauce, though sweet, did not quite complement the hamburger as I had hoped. The quality of the meat was good, and I felt that sticking to the classic demi-glace sauce would have been a safer choice. The miso soup was still on the salty side. Rice refills were available. I would consider returning when craving a hamburger. PayPay was accepted for payment, with a 25% cashback offer at selected stores in Shinjuku Ward in September 2021.

Hamburg Steak with Demi-Glace Sauce for 1,480 yen. This dish features a Hamburg steak topped with a large block of Japanese beef. The Japanese beef block is cooked until tender and easily cut, despite its thickness. The sauce is also quite good. I believe this Hamburg steak is worth the price.

Hanbaagumasuo is a specialty store for A5 grade black beef. The Masuo Hamburger (with rice and miso soup) costs 1480 yen, while the Tamago Katsu Burger (with one drink) costs 800 yen. Located a 5-minute walk from Todaimaguchi Station in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku-ku, this restaurant has a sports bar-like atmosphere. The Masuo Hamburger is made with 100% A5 grade black beef, topped with tongue stew, and comes with rice and miso soup for only 1480 yen. The Tamago Katsu Burger, available from 2 pm to 6 pm, offers a new and delicious taste experience.

On a holiday afternoon around 4 pm. It was a late lunch. • Hamburger and Cut Steak Set 1480 yen (excluding tax) with rice and miso soup included! Soft drinks were on sale for 100 yen! I ordered the hamburger medium rare, but it was cooked quite well. The cut steak had a lot of fat, a meaty taste like kalbi. The kalbi was delicious without any unpleasant odor. You can have unlimited refills of rice and miso soup, and the soft drinks were only 100 yen, so it was very cost-effective at this restaurant. They also have a TV, so it might be a good place to watch live sports on terrestrial TV.
