First Visit 202208 (No.3829) 1. Purpose of Visit - Store selection as a patrol within my expertise (;´Д`) 2. Store Information - Genre on Tabelog: Steak, Teppanyaki, Beef dishes - A new store opened on August 8, 2022 - Second store in Tokyo for the 'Kissho Kichi Group', which operates multiple stores specializing in Kobe beef in Osaka (the first store opened in Shibadaimon on July 28) - Business hours: 11:00-15:00 / 17:00-22:00 (L.O. 21:00) - The previous tenant was a restaurant called 'Poundya' that served hamburgers and steaks, with about 22 seats 3. Crowded conditions and atmosphere on the day of visit - Arrived at the store at 11:25, with 12 customers ahead and over 10 customers behind - Despite the number of seats, it took 50 minutes to enter the store - Many customers were there for the grand opening campaign (¥1,000 off) - The store did not provide any sun umbrellas despite knowing that customers would line up for the campaign, showing its Osaka-style approach (lol) - Narrow seating and interior design at a family restaurant level with no sense of luxury 4. Customer service - The manager, who seemed to have a unique hairstyle, turned out to be the chairman, Kiyomi Akagi, after checking the Kissho Kichi Group's website at home - The service was just average, following the manual 5. Ordered Items - Draft beer ¥660 - Service of "Ichibo" sashimi - Salad service The wasabi served with the sashimi looked like tube-packaged commercial-grade wasabi - Steak Jou (premium lean meat) ¥3,850 The meat, cooked on a lava stone to bring out the flavor of Kobe beef, had an incredible sweetness - The rice was made with Tamba Koshihikari rice from Hyogo Prefecture, but it was undercooked and had a sticky texture, so I ended up leaving 1/3 of it and only eating the meat before leaving the restaurant (●´ω`●) [I rated this restaurant a 3.5 based solely on the quality of the meat (lol)] 6. Summary - The rice cooking may improve in the future, but the high-end model of this restaurant, the "Premium Kobe Beef Chateaubriand," costs ¥60,000 for 300g, so I would love to read reviews from those who have ordered it (lol) [Pre. 00]
